HI guys.. just came to know that this story ranks #133 in Romance ! This is so encouraging and I see it as Avneil climbing the ladders which is so cool!

Avni was standing supported by DD. She didn't understand what was going on when neil did not cross over the wall after she did. She was still looking up at the wall waiting for Neil to come when DD said -"bhabhi. Neil sir ko time lagega. He has asked me to take you to hospital and be personally there guarding you.."(Madam. Neil sir will take time.)

Avni could not talk much now as her face was swollen and it was very painful. But she still tried -"kyun. Neil ko bulao..Neil ko Der kyun ho rahi Hai Bahar aane mein..Neil..! "(Call Neil. Why's he taking time)

Avni had gone through a lot and was now losing it. DD didn't know how to handle this but suddenly someone came and kept hand on Avni's shoulder. It was mitali!

Mitali was looking solid in her commando outfit. She told avni in an emotional yet hard voice -"i couldn't have imagined avni when I met you and neil that this is where the evening would end. But I promise you I'll fight for both of you tonight.."

Avni, now somewhat pacified and distracted - "mitali..Neil..wo Bahar nahi aa raha..just abhi mere saath mein tha..please usko.."(Neil is not coming out. He was with me just now)

Mitali -"usko kuch nahi hoga avni. Have faith and neil will be fine. If he doesn't go in today then it would have eaten Neil the rest of his life!..He's going to avenge his wife!"( Nothing will happen to him avni.)

Avni -"i have lost a lot in life. And I can stand after being beaten this way as well. But i cannot stand losing Neil. Please call him..please.."

Mitali took a deep breath and had to become stricter with avni -"Avni..He's our squad captain. He was the best cadet in Indian police training academy. He has gone for missions that even the rest of us don't know very well about.. I have full faith in him as a colleague and so should you! You can help Neil by going with DD and following his instructions."

"Avni. Maine jo dekha Hai usse I don't know much. But I'll say you're his strength and you're his weakness. I've not seen him giving much importance to anyone but juhi before like in this manner. And that too..and that too i am not sure but I feel there is something about you that draws him to you much more than to anyone in the past. Trust me I've known him since the academy days!" (From what I've seen I dont know much)

Avni felt better knowing that Neil is fully capable to take care and come out of this alive, hopefully. She took dd's support and went to the medical van and they left for hospital. Neil had asked DD to guard avni with his life and to engage and appoint good men in her hospital guard. But DD wasn't comfortable not knowing Neil's position. He felt he belonged as a part of this operation alongside Neil. DD looked at Avni's face again and swore under his breath. He wished death upon all those who had hurt this person so important to neil.

On reaching hospital DD waited till doctor checked up on avni and asked for her opinion. Doctor adjusted his spectacles and told DD that Avni was beaten up bad but she will survive well.

Doctor -"bahut brave girl Hai. Didn't flinch when i examined all those wounds. This is bad and will take time and some precautions. She can't be exposed to any tension or stress. She will need to go through physiotherapy as well as initial medicine course that I prescribe. I see her swelling settling in three to five days but it will take a lot longer for wounds to heal. "( very brave girl)

DD shook his head gratefully and wished he could give the update to sir ji. He prayed that the police operation was going well.

DD thought of taking an update from the people onsite and was able to get through after two calls.

DD-"inspector akash. How's it going. Did we get raghu pandit yet? Is Neil sir back?"

And then DD held the receiver of his phone tightly. So tight that his knuckles went white.
