Couple of weeks later--

Neil flipped his wrist to check his wrist watch as he was clueless as to what time it was, and then saw his bare wrist. It slowly came back to him that he had taken the watch off last night, dangling it over to the bedside nightstand, as he turned towards Avni to hold her in both his hands and continue what had become their favorite time pass in bedroom - Make out sessions!

Over last two weeks, many changes had come - a major one being that Avni and Neil had become teenagers again, if not in age then at least in their hormone levels! Their hearts raced looking at each other even in the presence of family members and they looked forward to meeting each other in the nooks and corners of the house to avoid family and to get a quick peck on their lips!

Last two weeks had been easily the happiest in both their lives. Two weeks ago, after the misunderstanding was sorted, Avni and Neil returned to the Khanna house. They were welcomed eagerly by Bebe and Prakash dad. Shweta was not so welcoming but not her usual caustic self either. Riya had been sent packing to live alone in the house her grandmother had left her, which was nothing compared to the mansions she had seen. Avni did not want that particularly, but Neil was insistent. He told Avni he is not comfortable having someone who does not hold Avni in a high regard in this house, he was sure Riya will lead to future misunderstandings if allowed to stay there. 

Neil's real reason was different. Unlike Avni who was emotional, Neil was driven more by reason and practicality. And he knew that Riya staying with them will ensure his mother's mind keeps getting poisoned against Avni and she gets a partner-in-crime. By sending Riya off, Neil ensured Shweta does not get any mental strength and a partner to bounce off her ideas against Avni. 

Neil was extremely protective towards Avni now, even more so that previously. He had now seen what she truly meant to him, and what he meant to her. What was between them was so beautiful that Neil did not want to lose it due to any more domestic drama. He needed positive people around him and Avni - Bebe, Prakash dad, Aman, Maddy bua, Kareena; and he hoped against hope that once in minority, his mom will also change her mind with time and become a better person.

Avni turned in their bed as Neil was still searching for the watch. 

Avni (sleepily) - "Neil, why are you moving around so much. Main so nahi paa rahi" (i am unable to sleep)

Neil (bit dramatically)- 'Avni sweetheart! Ye sone ka time nahi hai, subah ke nau baj gaye" (this is not the time to sleep, its 9 am)

Avni jerked up from the bed and threw her cover! 

"NEIL! why did you not wake me up! What will Bebe think ki main kitni lazy hoon! It is all your fault Neil!" (what will bebe think, that i am so lazy!)

Neil tried to hide his teeth while smiling, but then burst out laughing.

"Haha! Avni I am kidding. I cannot even find my watch. Main time kaise bataunga..And you have actually slept a lot! Sone to mujhe nahi deti ho tum aajkal!" (how will i tell the time..you dont let me sleep nowadays)

Avni (getting red in the face) - "Neil! What do you mean? Shushhh!"

Neil - "Don't shush me Avni darling! Tumhari sachhai bahar aa chuki hai Avni Ayesha! Tum ek bahut hi 'energetic' ladki ho".  (your truth is out.. you are a very 'energetic' girl..)

Neil intentionally accentuated the word energetic and then winked at Avni. Avni could not take this anymore. She got up from the bed embarrassed and then muttering to herself went straight into the shower.

Neil was now more sober. He looked lovingly after Avni and thought how the last two weeks had panned out. He and Avni were now husband and wife in the physical sense as well. Each time he held Avni, it felt so new and refreshing, just like the first time he had held her while pulling her out of water..

Avni suddenly shouted from the bathroom and brought Neil out of his reveries. - "NEILL! Wo towel dena pls. I forgot to take it , again!" (give me that towel..)

Neil took the tower and then running his hand through his hair and shaking his head walked up to the bathroom door. 

"Mujhe to lagta hai ki mujhe phaansne ke liye tum roz towel bhulne ka bahana karti ho! Kya main towel boy lagta hoon" (i think you pretend to forget towel daily to ensnare me! do i look like a towel boy?)

Suddenly the door opened and a semi-angry Avni's face peeped out from that side - "Main aur natak! Neil, thodi si help hi to maangii thi. Rehene do, main khud le loongi!" (i and drama? Neil I just asked for a little help! Leave it, i will take it myself!)

Neil now felt like being mischievous and threw the towel on the bed - "Haan haan jao le lo. See I am not looking!" (Yes go take it.)

Saying this he turned his head the other side and stood with his back to the bathroom door and the bed.

Avni rechecked that the coast was clear and then tip toed till the bed. She quickly wrapped the burgundy towel around her, which barely covered her. Neil always gave the wrong towel!

Avni had opened the almirah to look for the correct towel but as usual she could not find it. Neil always messed up her clothes whenever she asked him to get anything from the almirah. Avni's anger climbed a notch higher thinking about the contributions Neil had made in destroying her beloved wardrobe. In anger she turned around and walked up to Neil and tapped his shoulder. Neil turned his face towards her with a suspiciously innocent look on his face!

Avni - "Neil, tumne jaan boojh ke kiya na mera wardrobe mess up?" (Neill you messed up my wardrobe on purpose!)

Neil - "Baby, I was just trying to help you. Main tumhara cute gusse wala avatar bilkul nahi dekhna chahta tha! I swear!". (I did not want to see your cute enraged form!..)

Saying this Neil smirked and suppressed further laughter. This angered Avni so much that she raised her hand to protest and to teach a lesson to Neil in some form, but suddenly it led to more embarrassment for her as her already small towel became loose and was about to slip down to dangerous levels.

Before Avni could catch the towel and stop it from falling, Neil did.. Avni's eyes locked with Neil's and then their daily routine of bickering changing into intimacy began. Neil pulled both ends of the towel and with it Avni into him. He was still wearing night clothes. Avni was in a precarious situation. She could not get away from Neil as towel would fall and she could not get close to Neil either, it was a matter of her lovers' ego!

And so Avni and Neil stayed in that embrace for some more time. As Avni looked into Neil's eyes, slowly she saw his eyes darken as desire grew.. She herself felt controlled by some invisible force as they forgot everything else and held each other tightly as Neil started nibbling her right ear. Avni threw her head back in desire at this and put her hands on Neil's well-formed butt, she then pulled him closer into herself. 

Neil was now mad with longing. He lifted Avni, towel and all forgotten and kept themselves on the bed. He then looked at her in full light and Avni felt like squirming unto herself under his gaze. Neil took his shirt off and threw it away. He then crashed his lips and chest into Avni's and their upper bodies became one as Neil kept on kissing her fervently. He used his hands ably to make designs on her back while kissing her and suddenly he was sure he heard her moan into his mouth. Neil became more turned on, if that was possible!

He pressed his member against Avni's ready organ, Avni moaned more into his mouth. It was hard now for both to control. Neil peppered kisses on her neck and then kissed southwards leaving a trail across her chest, her breasts and then downwards to her navel and waist. He then put a kiss on her organ which was wet with desire. He then heard a muffled sound. At this, they snuggled up and pulled up a cover. The actual time was just 8 am in the morning but no body cared about the time anymore...
