Percy's Point of View

Later that day I got a text from Annabeth, saying that she wanted to me with Thalia tomorrow after school.

*Time skip to the day after, after school*

Annabeth waved to me as I walked towards Thalia.

"So...."Annabeth greeted me after I sat next to her.

"So... Is that you were going to tell me?"I asked.

Annabeth's cheeks flushed,"Of course not! Piper is having a party this Saturday? Do you want to come with me?"

"There's something you want, don't you?"I replied, knowing fully well why Annabeth had given me this invitation.

"Fine,"Annabeth grumbled. "You caught me. I want you to come because Piper bet twenty dollars that I wouldn't bring anyone to the party with me."

I chuckled,"Of course I will come with you, Wise Girl! So, is there anything else you wanted to talk to me about?"

"No, I guess I will see you Saturday?"Annabeth said, her statement coming out like a question.

"Yup!"I replied "popping the p."

"Maybe sooner,"I winked.

She punched me on the arm.

~On Saturday~
I pressed my foot on the brakes of my blue Prius as I arrived in front of Annabeth's house. Annabeth hurried to the passenger seat door, her princess curls flapping wildly in the wind as she ran. She closed the door to my car, panting for breath as she did so. She turned to me.

"What are you looking at? Hit the gas! We are going to be late!"

Fifteen minutes later I pulled up into the driveway of a three story mansion. The windows let out streams of light as music filled the street. I checked the slip of paper Annabeth and given me with Piper's address on it.

"Are you sure we are at the right house?"I asked her once again.

Annabeth nodded,"This is it. This is Piper's house."

As soon as I knocked on the door, I saw a grinning Piper with Jason's hand clasped tightly with hers.

"You finally came! I was wondering when you were going to get here!"Piper looked at me. "Percy, am I correct?"

Annabeth smirked,"You owe me twenty dollars!"

I nodded, slung my arm around Annabeth's shoulder as we walked in. It turned out that the people attending the party was Travis and Conner Stoll, Reyna, Jason, Will Solace, Nico Di Angelo, Hazel, Frank, Leo, many other people I forgot the names of, and of course Piper herself. There were many plastic red cups used for drinks. There were a few punch bowls scattered around the room. There was also a cooler filled with ice to use to our extent. There was a large living room with 50 inch long TV with a white and black couch shaped like an L in front of it. In front of the the couch, was a coffee table used for drinks that were probably not coffee. There was also a big kitchen and a master bedroom, a regular bedroom, and a guest bedroom. I don't even know what was upstairs. I scratched the back of neck nervously. I don't how I can fit in with these people! What am I supposed to do? Do you want to do what I did? I did what I did best. I survived by starting minimal and casual(hopefully) conversations and walked every place that was not swarming with people. Everything was going great until Piper said-

"I'm bored! Anyone want to play a game?"

Leo wiggled his eyebrows suggestively at everyone,"I think I have an idea. . . ."
