Getting to school you withheld the information to the trio you called your best friends knowing full well that they'd be bursting at the seams to know who you accepted for work placement. It was there day for you to sit with them at lunch, and you went back to being silent but more playfully than your lack of confidence.

"Come onnnnn.... tell me it's killin' me!" Setsuna groans as Kendo eyes you for the information. Kirishima can hear the commotion since he directs his friends to sit close, that way he can listen and blow kisses at you whenever you looked over. Bakugou wanted to be sick but was also listening close to who.

"Sis just tell em...they're too loud," Tetsu groans making everyone turn to look at him, the usually loudest on the table, "What you all lookin' at," wiping his face as if he had something on it.

"Ermmm Tetsutetsu...you's the loudest normally," Kendo is polite about it, and since it was Kendo pointing the fact the grey-haired guy blushes, laughing it off. The action made Setsuna and Ibara look at you with the, 'you needed to set your bro up look,' making you smirk as you knew Kendo and Tetsutetsu would be adorable together, he'd treat her like a queen. The same way that Kiri treated you.

"Fine...I'll spill....I'm gonna intern with Hawks," you whisper but loud enough for Kiri's table or anyone walking past to hear. Before your friends congratulate you, the sound of a tray crashing to the floor next to you catches everyone in the canteens attention. Those of your closest practically jump out of your skin at the sudden noise.

When your eyes glance, you see Aliza stood frozen to the spot, her food and plate on the floor as her eyes glance over to you with such hate for a millisecond, not many people catching. A few did though, Bakugou, Midoriya and Todoroki. Even though Kiri, Tetsu, Ibara, Kendo and Setsuna hadn't seen the look, whenever this girl was near you there protection alarm went off.

"Such a clutz," Aliza laughed nervously, her own friends looking a little confused since they'd not heard your conversation. As far as you were aware, you'd not said it loud enough for anyone but your table to hear it.

Not thinking, your kind nature set in, even to the girl that had caused your life such misery as you knelt down next to her passing her a napkin. "Here you go," smiling with your sharp teeth, not scared to show them to her anymore, the girl internally shudders at horrifying she thought you looked with such monstrous teeth.

Biting back the bitch comment, she took the napkins, the feeling that you pitied her, it wasn't the case you would have done it for anyone. "Thanks," she whispered, it was clearly forced but you smiled as you helped her clean her mess. The others didn't say anything to not cause a scene. Bakugou, of course, thought you were being dumb to help someone who had looked down and clearly still had ill feelings towards you, but to you, it was water off a duck's back.

For the first time in a long time, you were happy. After making the friends you had at U.A and finally standing up against Aliza, you felt that nothing could bring you down again. It had been a tough few months, but in that time you decided to put the dancing and ice skating to one side to focus fully on your hero training.

In your eyes, you needed to prove to the girl on her knees next to you more than anything, that you were going to be a hero and help everyone that needed help.

Standing up once her food had been cleaned, you grabbed a sealed sandwich from your plate holding it out towards Aliza. Everyone's jaws dropped to the floor, Bakugou wanted to smack you around the head for being too kind, to someone who had caused you so much pain. Kiri just smiled, knowing that he would have done the same in your situation, that you were trying to get over your past and become stronger for it.

It was something the redhead was also trying to do himself, after being outshone by Mina in their previous school, Kiri saw himself as weak. The more time he spent with you though, it made him feel he had more to protect every day.

"I'm all done. It's your fave tuna mayo," smiling sweetly to the blonde, Aliza could sense death glares being thrown at her. Even though she wanted to decline the sandwich, the feeling that you were giving it to her out of pity she took it, a fake smile on her face.

"Aww thank you (n/n)-Chan you're always so kind...I can't believe you still remember after all this time," smiling, but the same couldn't be said for her eyes. However, instead of getting you going cutesy over her using your old nickname, all you do is shrug.

"It's ok. I wouldn't want you to not get any food," It was your way of putting the fact you would never be the same and that you were just being kind, not through pity but the fact you would do that if it was someone else and that it was no lie that you were just full.

"Yeh of course," the smile dropping from her face, but the one on Bakugou's getting larger at her misfortune of being put in her place by you. "Right I should go thanks for that...say hey to Tenshi for me," a smirk crossed her lips, as she walked away as your whole posture changed.

'Did she do that on purpose....is this the start of something?' the doubt of it came back again until you felt a hand on your shoulder. Turning, you saw kind red eyes, staring back at you.

"Princess...don't let what she says get to you. Remember she is jealous. You've got us now..." smiling he kissed your cheek, just as Aliza turned back to see the despair on your face. Yet she is only met with you blushing, with a toothy goofy grin on your face. The rage in the girl being to boil over, she tried in her head to be friendly, but all she really wanted was power over you, as she knew full well you were stronger and she would use you as a tool to cling to.

In her eyes, she needed you to break again so that she could worm her way in, but she wasn't sure just how to go about it. The thing that had pissed her off the most was that you would no doubt be working closely with Hawks but she knew full well that his brother Tenshi would be also interning with his pro hero brother to get closer to you.

'All I need to do is break them up and then she will come running back,' the girl though a twisted smile crossing her face, however, Kirishima, Bakugou, Todoroki had noticed the look meaning that whatever had crossed the girl's mind would be something to crush the confidence that you had worked so hard to gain.

Each of them in their own way dedicated to protecting you, for your sake but in Bakugou's mind he was protecting one of the only guys he would truly call his best friends and that meant to protect the things that he'd loved. The thing he knew Eijiro Kirishima loved, was you and that meant he wouldn't see you get hurt.
