The army of  mermans and necromancers stood face to face .
"What are you?",  King Cyrus asked with a growl  "and why are you killing our kind ?"

"We are dwellers of the Forbidden Waters and we call ourselves ' The Children of Terra'," said Artemis ,  wave currents ran across the water as he spoke , the dark bluish glow around him seemed to be warming up the water, and all the mermaids felt his power.

They knew they stood no chance against them but were determined to fight for their kind ....even if it meant death.
Seeing them armed in those shining red tridents Artemis spoke "we don't want to fight you or hurt you, we will spare you if promise to never invade our waters, ever,"
" You want us to trust you after you butchered Phila ?" roared Cyrus .

Artemis lifted his right hand moved it in a half circle and the water around it turned black, and in the center of the black haze was Phila , the merman who was killed just hours before.
" You.....you could do that ?...", spoke Cyrus with his eyes wide open .

"You have no idea what we can do , and I hope you never have to find out " , were words of Aeryn as she stood next to Artemis and held his hand .
Waves again ran across the water but this time they were strong enough to push the mermaids a feet back.
