I was just remembering this headcanon that I included in one of my fics about merpeople talking to Slytherins since their commom room has a view into the Great Lake.

I don't know how but it led me to imagining Voldemort as a mermaid.  A noseless mermaid, to be precise. And he gives the Death Eaters the Dark Mark on their tails instead of their arms because that's cooler.

Though it makes me wonder, would Voldemort and Ursula be besties? Like she's known as the Sea Witch and has quite a reputation for dark magic so obviously Voldemort would try to recruit her.

But Ursula wouldn't want to be anybody's bitch, nuh uh and the Death Eaters are basically Voldemort's bitches.

So she'd make a deal with him. He has to overthrow the Ministry of Merpeople in three days if he wants to get a nose and instead of his voice, she takes his horcruxes for the time being.

WAIT JUST IMAGINE KING TRITON AS ALBUS DUMBLEDORE and his underwater castle is basically underwater Hogwarts.

So okay back to the story, Voldemort manages to overthrow the Ministry of Merpeople and Ursula gives him a nose and Voldy's all happy.

He throws a party for all his Death Eater buddies and instead of normal bubbles, they blow dark green bubbles because they're edgy and evil like that.

But suddenly, Voldemort looks into the mirror and realizes his nose is a normal skin colored nose, it doesn't match his white skeletal face.

Dun dun dun! He has been betrayed by Ursula, the Sea Witch.
