// I read it //

I guess I was being biased about it from the caption. I did agree with most of it (I think) but here are the two parts I didn't because why not.

             ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

That's not heroism. She could have made him shut up plenty of other ways, hitting someone is never even okay, far from being considered badass or cool. Let's flip the roles and imagine Harry slapped Pansy for talking shit about Hagrid, would the reaction be the same?
Hitting people does not make you a hero, it makes you an asshole.

No. S.P.E.W was a movement she started to satisfy her savior complex. She might have good intentions but she didn't give a shit about how house elves felt about it.

She spoke up over them and tried becoming their voice instead of helping them find theirs. Literally none of the house elves, not even Dobby were in on the movement and still she was continually trying to recruit human members. I feel like I'm bad at explaining this so here's this from Pottermore:

Definitely interfering in a culture she didn't understand. The whole S.P.E.W thing is a prime example of her main flaw, she can be very close-minded at times and can't cope with the fact that there are some things she doesn't understand. This is why it was such an important thing for her character.

All the house elves wanted was respect and to be honest, I think the house elves at Hogwarts were perfectly happy. It was only house elves that worked for families that abused them who needed help.

Also, the them fighting in the Battle of Hogwarts had absolutely nothing to do with S.P.E.W.
None of them even agreed with it to begin with.
