It's actually been two weeks since taehyung and jungkook had been staying together acting like a couple

Well it had it's perquisites and loss.

Losses being acting all lovey dovey in front of Mrs. Jee

They don't deny that they like it but it was too tiring.
If they would have been for real couples.

You know,
It would have been easier.
They didn't had to practice how to put up a great act, how to hold hands and it was hella awkward trying to search 'how boyfriends hold hands' over the Internet.

Perks were many disregarding the losses

Like jungkook's dream came true when he could eat five star hotel like food whenever he wants (well not exactly whenever, he needed to bribe taehyung  with compliments to get what he wanted)

Well they did have similarities too, like both loved playing overwatch, taehyung always winning in it (because well yeah, jungkook let him. He wants to eat good food though), they liked to sing too and taehyung was more than happy for that

Taehyung also taught jungkook to atleast cook a simple noodle recipe so that he could survive on his own.
In return, jungkook taught him to draw, well he was better than jungkook trying to learn how to cook, because
Who even burns a bowl of noodle down
(And in punishment taehyung made jungkook eat it, but then he fed him some great blueberry pie because he felt sad what the older had to go through)

They even used to tell each other embarrassing and funny incidents of each other.

And that is when jungkook decided he should tell taehyung "that incident"

They were currently sitting in their lounge area and looking through the window at the pitter patter of the rain

"I wanted to tell you one incident" jungkook said out of the blue

Taehyung's ears perked up
"All ears"

Jungkook silently laughed before starting

"Okay so this one day, I had to take a girl out on a date, so rather going out we had a home date

She was all pretty dressed and yeah, not that I care. She was just for fun" he was explaining as if he would hurt taehyung's feeling if he did not explain

"Yeah, so we were watching a movie and I set the pizza in the oven, after few minutes, the ding happened" he said with the sound which made taehyung giggle a little

"Yeah so I went over and checked, the pizza was ready but I looked everywhere and couldn't find my oven mittens" he said stifling his laughter and taehyung got more impatient to hear what jungkook had to say

"Soo~ I was so dumb that I didn't have time to think much so I just got the pizza put with my bare hands, I thought it wouldn't hurt but I swear to god, it was hella painful. Yeah so I didn't think and I started screaming and running here and there, all over the house with the pizza still in my hands and the girl panicked too. It was enough burning so I just smacked the pizza in her face" taehyung was now cackling so much that his stomach hurt

"Yeah and she stood there with the poker face, then shouted, slapped me and after that we never went on a second date. But hell that was one of the best moment of my life, even if I had burns" jungkook was laughing too

They were both now laughing so much that the whole neighborhood could hear them.

The laughter died and a small smile replaced on jungkook's face, a proud smile.

He was happy he made taehyung laugh like that.

He bet, it was the most angelic laugh he had ever heard.

He wanted more of it to echo in this house, in his boring life

Denying it all over again

Even though after few cackling again over that incident, taehyung even told him his incidents, that how he sneakily placed tuna fishes in the curtain rods at a party when his friends and everyone were busy roasting each other. Then the house smelled like rotten fish for a few weeks and taehyung was caught because of the surveillance camera and he had to apologize to his friend and his parents, after that he never saw that house again.

All the incidents made them laugh, which they never do with their partners.

Well to say if they were both started feeling for those little and small things each other do would be an understatement.

They did feel for each other

But

Somewhere deep inside

Too deep that they are so oblivious to it.

Currently what mattered right now was they were sitting on the wooden armchair and cackling about both of their pasts.

Happy they were

In their own little worlds

Together

Even if you call them actors
