Taehyung and jungkook packed their bags as they were ready to leave. Both were a little sad that they had to go separately but they let it slide as they would obviously not leave each other's side when they'll reach home.

When they were both done, they went outside. Taehyung sadly waved a goodbye to jungkook who looked as if he wasn't really ready to leave taehyung. He finally gave up after taehyung told him that they'll talk endlessly once they reach home, so jungkook agreed.

When taehyung saw him reach the girls section his heart shattered. He stopped his tears from flowing out of his eyes.

He turned away and sat on the bus as he looked out of the window. He saw that jungkook was looking for him and when he finally spotted him he smiled the biggest smile at him even though his girlfriend was talking to him.

That smile is for me
Even if it's just as a friend

Taehyung sighed as he smiled back and then the bus drove off.

Taehyung finally reached home and sighed the biggest sigh.

He wouldn't have expected that it would be such a relief to come back home.

He unlocked the door and took his stuff inside. Jungkook wasn't home as his college was dropping them at their college so he knew he'll be late. So he decided to bake.

After making an apple pie, he sat on the couch and turned the TV on.

Suddenly an idea struck him. He thought he should make the other's welcoming a special one.

So he decided they'll go out on a small dinner date, not in a restaurant, in their garden only. So he started preparing for the dinner and the date. Well not exactly date but more of a hangout. But to taehyung it was a date.

"All set" he smiled, he was so proud of himself. Well jungkook would be too.

They are gonna watch disney movies (even if jungkook disagrees he'll have to agree later at that pouty face of taehyung), have some dinner made by taehyung, share wines and vines.  It's all gonna be perfect.

Taehyung looked at the ticking object. He was waiting for jungkook to come.

He smiled happily when the doorbell rung. He quickly jumped and opened the door.

"Welcome" he exclaimed, seeing taehyung so happy made jungkook smile too

"What's up with you?" he laughed at the giddy younger

"You change fast, wear something nice, I have a surprise for you" taehyung pushed jungkook upstairs.

He smiled and went upstairs to wear something nice too.

With red hair

"What now?" jungkook laughed and taehyung then closed his eyes and directed him towards the garden

Once they were at the garden taehyung let his hands fall back and jungkook quickly opened his eyes

"Woah!" He gasped as the sight to him was magnificent.

"Did you do all this?!" He asked amazed by the decorum of the place

Taehyung nodded as he bit his lip to not smile so much seeing the other's expression

"It's s perfect" jungkook claimed and they both sat down on the blanket.

Aa taehyung was wearing shorts it was somehow difficult for jungkook too look at the movie which was playing.

They did all the things taehyung had planned that they would do.

Jungkook complimented again and again that how tasty the food had been cooked.

It was such a sweet gesture of taehyung to do so and seeing jungkook smiling like this was the only thing taehyung would want.

"Seriously taehyung thank you so much. I couldn't ask you for anything it's so sweet. I needed it kinda though" jungkook stated to the pleased taehyung.

"Ohh it's nothing jungkook" taehyung smiled

Jungkook took a second to register some thoughts of his before placing a quick peck on the other's lips.

Taehyung blushed so wildly that he hid his face in his hands.

"Wh-why d-did yo-you do that?" He said whilst his face was still in his hands

"Just a thanking kiss" jungkook smiled more rather smirked

"Why-why do it out of the blue?" Taehyung said as he finally retracted his hands from his face

"Thought to thank you" he smiled

"You shouldn't do that when mrs. Jee isn't here. You have a girlfriend jungkook" taehyung tried to explain himself though with a heavy heart

Jungkook frowned at the other's statement.

"Don't ruin the mood. It was anyway a friendly kiss" jungkook huffed.

He said what he did, but was that what he felt?

Did he feel that it was just a friendly kiss?

"Y-yeah" taehyung muttered

This is what it'll ever be

He sighed and let his thoughts waver off because he didn't want to ruin the hangout mood after all he did it all for jungkook

Even if he thinks it's a friendly gesture

He still did it for him
