     Jongho's pov

"Yeosangie, it's time to wake up from your nap. Doctor Kim is here," I gently shook the hybrid awake. He was curled into my side as best as he could without causing himself any pain.

"He is?" Yeosang asked as he rubbed his tired eyes. He glanced up at the doctor and gasped.

"Hyung!" He exclaimed. I grew confused as I looked at the pair. Hongjoong gently hugged the hybrid before opening his doctor bag.

"How do you two know each other?" I asked. Hongjoong smiled sadly.

"I was the doctor who saved Yeosang's life." He grabbed something from his bag and began to check on Yeosang's leg.

"Saved him? From what?" I asked before stopping myself.

"You don't have to tell me yet. I'll understand if you aren't ready for me to know, Yeosangie," I smiled softly at him. He smiled softly back at me.

"It's okay, tell him, Hongjoong Hyung," Yeosang sighed. Hongjoong looked at me and pulled me out of the room.

"When Yeosang was miscarrying, I was the doctor who saved his life. It may have costed the lives of his babies, but now he's safe, and he has you," Hongjoong explained.

We then walked back into Yeosang's room. I gently hugged the hybrid male and apologized though I had nothing to apologize for.

"I'm sorry, Yeosangie. I had no idea," I mumbled into his shoulder.

"It's not okay that Mingi made me pregnant then beat my children out of me, but it wasn't your fault, Jongho. You don't have to apologize to me," Yeosang mumbled. I nodded and gently held his right hand as Hongjoong inspected Yeosang.

"Well, that worker did break your leg and fractured a few of your ribs, but you'll be just fine with time, Yeosangie. With Jongho by your side, you'll be happier than you ever were with Mingi, I can promise you that," Hongjoong smiled softly and left my house.

Yeosang had a pale pink cast on his left leg and bandages around his ribs. He smiled softly at the pink color that matched the room.

"Thank you, Jongho. I really appreciate you doing this for me, however, I have one request if you don't mind..." Yeosang trailed off. I smiled at him and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze.

"What?" I asked softly. He looked down at our hands and smiled.

"In the hybrid shelter, two of my very best friends are there. They were never beaten like me, but I know they'd rather be out than in there. Could you, maybe, do something about that, please?" Yeosang asked softly. I gave it a little thought and nodded.

"I do have the extra room in the house, plus you'll need a friend for when I can't be here with you.... okay, let's go get them!" I smiled and stood up. I gently picked Yeosang up and carried him back to my car.

"If you don't want to, you don't have to go in with me. I know it might be triggering to see the man who hurt you," I mumbled as I drove.

"I want to come in so my friends know it's safe," Yeosang said. I nodded and parked in the parking lot of the hybrid shelter.

"Are you ready, Yeosangie?" I asked as I turned my car off. Yeosang nodded and opened his door. I handed him his crutches and followed his pace into the shelter and into the rooms where the hybrids are kept.

"Sannie, Woo, where are you?" Yeosang asked as he entered. I watched out for that male worker who hit Yeosang.

"In here, baby," San claimed. We followed his voice and soon found the pair cuddled up together.

"Baby?" I asked. San and Wooyoung smiled at Yeosang and nodded.

"He's like our child, though we're close in age, so we call him baby," The one who I assumed was Wooyoung said. I nodded and let Yeosang take initiative.

"Guys, I found a home!" Yeosang smiled. Wooyoung and San glanced at me then back to Yeosang.

"Is he your new owner?" San asked. Yeosang looked at me, and I shrugged.

"It's whatever you want to call me, I don't mind it," I smiled softly. Yeosang looked back at his friends and nodded.

"And he has room in his house for the two of you, too! That's why we came back, guys; To get you!" Yeosang exclaimed. Though I had only known him for a few hours, I had never seen him so happy about something.

He seemed brighter, more full of life, while he's happy. He glowed with joy as he looked down at his two friends.

"You'd really take all three of us in? Why? What's in it for you?" Wooyoung asked pointedly.

"There's not really much in it for me, besides the fact that I won't have to come home to an empty house every night after work." I smiled softly. They all looked up at me with small glares.

"What? It's true! I don't really have a motive in mind for this besides not being alone anymore," I held my hands up in surrender to the trio.

"Okay, we'll believe you- for now. But if I get a feeling you're not being truthful, Woo and I are leaving. Yeosang can come with us if he decides to, but woo and I are together through it all. We aren't mates for no reason," San explained. I nodded.

"Would you two like to be adopted, though? It's your decision," I said. They glanced at each other then nodded.

"If Yeosang trusts you this soon, you must be trustworthy. Fine. We will go with you, on the account that no matter what, the three of us will not be separated." Wooyoung stood up and pulled San up.

"Okay, that's fine by me, but what will you do if Yeosang becomes an actor too? My agent is coming tomorrow to check him out," I explained.

"Can we be actors too?" Wooyoung asked excitedly. The bear hybrid seemed very excited about the potential of becoming an actor.

"If SeongHwa Hyung likes you, too, then yes. Come on, let's go get you two adopted!" I smiled widely and helped Yeosang exit the room.

"He's so sweet," Wooyoung whispered just loud enough for me to hear. I smiled softly and continued helping Yeosang.

"You're back? Is Yeosang too much trouble even after just the past five hours?" The male worker sneered until he saw San and Wooyoung exit the room as well.

"I couldn't just take one away from the other two, now could I? They're best friends!" I cooed before glaring at the worker.

"How much?" I pulled out two credit cards.

"The Bear is twenty one thousand and the Bunny is sixteen thousand." He sneered. He thought that since I had already spent ten thousand that I wouldn't have enough left.

"Really? The three of them combined costs less than one of my paychecks," I sneered back with a smirk. The man gaped at me and saw as my cards both accepted the transactions.

"Adoption papers- now!" I exclaimed. The man nodded his head fearfully and handed over the two stacks of papers.

"Okay, help me fill these out, then we can head back to our house," I mumbled and opened a pen.

A small while later, we pulled into our house. I glanced into the mirror and noticed San, Wooyoung, and Yeosang all asleep together in the back.

"Guys, it's time to wake up. I know it's ten pm and you want your rest, but please get it on your own beds," I asked as I gently shook them all awake. They sleepily looked up at me and nodded. Wooyoung rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and pulled San out of the car.

"Yeosangie, please wake up," I asked him again. He didn't respond to me. I shook him a little harder. Nothing.

"Yeosang, wake up!" I exclaimed, gently tugging his tail to alert him. He didn't respond.

"Oh my god, did you have a concussion? Yeosang! Wake up!" I felt tears well in my eyes as I shook him. I pulled out my phone and called Hongjoong again.

"Hyung, Yeosang isn't waking up! I think he has a concussion," I sobbed as Hongjoong gasped. I heard as he packed his medical bag and got into his car.

"I'm on my way- get him inside your house! Being out in the cold could hurt him worse!" Hongjoong demanded then hung up.

I gently picked Yeosang up and carried his thin form into his pink room. Tears dripped onto his clothes as I packed him.

"Please be okay," I asked the world as I laid him on his bed.

"Please be okay," I asked again quietly. I saw Hongjoong enter the room a small while later. He shined a light into Yeosang's eyes and gasped.

"He's bleeding internally from the blunt trauma force of the hits. Bring him to the hospital I work at- fast!" Hongjoong demanded. I nodded and picked him up again, putting him down in the passenger seat of my car.  I buckled him in and ran back inside to get San and Wooyoung.

"Guys, Yeosang has a concussion and internal bleeding and- and he passed out!" I exclaimed, shaking them awake. They quickly became alert and jumped up from the blue bed.

"Let's get him to a hospital!" San exclaimed. I cried softly as I drove the four of us to the hospital. I made sure to be extra careful as I drove so as to not hurt yeosang further.

"Please be okay..." I begged him as I stopped at a red light. I glanced back at San and Wooyoung, who had small smiles on their faces.

"How can you be smiling in a time like this?" I asked loudly. San's smile widened.

"You're mates, that's why you're so connected with him so quickly," San smiled and gently placed a hand on Yeosang's head. Yeosang lifted his head and smiled up at me softly. I pulled over quickly and glared at him.

"What the actual fuck, Yeosang? I thought you were dying!" I sobbed loudly. Yeosang lifted the middle seat and scooted beside me.

"I'm sorry, but I had to find out if you felt the connection," Yeosang mumbled.

"Was Hongjoong in on this too or are you actually bleeding internally?" I asked.

"Oh, yeah, I'm bleeding internally, but it should stop on it's own, right?" Yeosang asked innocently. I shook my head and pulled back onto the road.

"I'm taking you to that damned hospital and you're getting healed," I said angrily. Yeosang cowered and buckled back up.

"You could have just asked me if I felt it," I said softly as I noticed him cowering and shaking in his seat. I parked the car and glanced at him.

"I was more scared that you didn't feel it. If a hybrid is mates with a human, it's a fifty-fifty shot that the human doesn't feel the same," yeosang explained. I put my head on the steering wheel and let sobs rings out.

"Yeosangie, I thought you were actually dying," I sobbed loudly. He scooted back towards me cautiously before I placed my head in his neck and hugged him softly.

"I mean, I might if my internal bleeding isn't stopped," Yeosang spoke sarcastically. I gasped and jumped out of the car. I quickly opened his door and picked him up.

"Come on, San, Wooyoung! We have to help him!" I let more tears fall as I raced into the hospital with Yeosang in my arms.

"Hongjoong Hyung!" I shouted. A stretcher immediately stopped before me to place Yeosang on. I gently laid him down and allowed the doctors and nurses to do their job.

"Why did you three have to do that?" I asked. San smiled softly and gently sat his hand on my head.

"Yeosang didn't know if you'd ever love him back, whether by the mate bond, or naturally. He had to know soon, or else being rejected, whether inadvertently or on purpose, would kill him." San exlapined.

"I could have killed him, just because I may not have felt the same?" I asked softly.

"Yeah, you could have. It's a good thing you feel the same, though. Please be better for Yeosang than Mingi was," Wooyoung begged. I wiped my tears on my suit sleeve and nodded.

"Absolutely! I'll have to have a talk with my so called best friend tomorrow at work," I snarled. They gasped.

"You know Mingi?" They asked. I nodded and sighed.

"Unfortunately, Yes." I said and rubbed my tired eyes. They sighed and San glared at the floor.

"I swore to Yeosang that if I ever saw him- I'd kill him," San snarled. I gently tapped his arm.

"You can't kill him! If you kill him, you'll go to jail," I mumbled. San sighed and looked at Wooyoung, who looked terribly sad.

"I don't want to lose you," Wooyoung mumbled. San gently caressed his cheek.

"You won't, don't worry, my love," San smiled and pecked Wooyoung's lips. I sighed and wondered if Yeosang and I would ever be like that.
