An Interesting Picture
"So what do you guys even want here, anyway? To bother me?" I complain, throwing another pillow at Shark.
"Nope. We were bored at your school. We remembered that you told us that we can come over. So we did." Yuma explains.
"I don't like you." I tell him and soon he has a pillow in his face, as well. "Anyway, we should start thinking about what I should do with you. I can't hide you in the school forever. Tomorrow's Monday and I don't think it would be very smart to let you guys just stay at the school during classes. And I can't leave you at my house alone or else my sister would, like, murder you all. So I'm not really sure." I tell myself.
"Well, why don't you just let us explore the city?" Cathy speaks up.
"Can't do that. I wouldn't have a way to contact you."
"But you're rich. Don't you have, like, 50 phones?" Yuma points out.
"No. I have two. Remember? I don't like asking for a bunch of stuff and getting it because my dad is so popular. Last summer, I found a job and bought a phone with my own money. Unfortunately, my dad heard that I wanted a phone and bought me a better version of the one I bought myself." I sigh. "He just doesn't learn."
"Perfect! We can take one phone and you can keep the other one at school with you!" Cathy exclaims, digging around my room.
"Hey, hey, hey! This is my room, don't go seaching around it for something that isn't even yours!" I yell and pull her away from my closet. "I'll give you my other phone soon, just be patient."
The door to my room swings open. Irene is standing in the door, holding a golf club. "I heard yelling. Katrina, what happened?"
I sigh. "Guys, I'll be right back. Don't touch anything or I will let my sister attack." I exit my room to talk to my sister.
~*Shark POV*~
I sigh. For some reason, I feel bad for Rikka. I glance over at Rio. She walks over to me and gives me something. "What is this?" I whisper to her.
"It's a picture of her when she was little. Look at her." She replies.
After studying the picture, I realize that her hair is a light grey, like her older sister's. She's wearing big blue glasses and now she has almost black eyes. The strangest thing about this picture is the black marks on her cheeks.
I hardly notice when Rikka enters the room again. Rio looks up, though, and I follow her gaze. Rikka is staring at us and I can see that she's holding back tears.
Rikka walks up to us and snatches the photograph out of my hands. Everything is silent. She walks next to me and opens her window. Then she throws the photo out the window, leaving it to fall 3 stories. She then strides out of her room, slamming the door.
