An hour after error had taught me to fire a chaos spear, a plane lands nearby our little hideout. I tap lash twice and she wakes up, standing up quickly and i grab her," how're you feeling?" " much better, error must've given me some of his energy. Come on, we've got an eggman base to raid." She notices the quill structure." And be careful when firing your spear, they can get mightly unpredictable." I nod once more and whiplash waves for me to follow her, and i walk with her as she stops with the plane, Sans, Error, Knuckles, Martin, who i immeadiatly stand next to. Many other Mobians i don't know personaly and whiplash calms herself with a breath, that's new. I quickly log that down as she says.
" Mobians, not just my peers, thank you for being here, for today, we take back our home, Eggman's base lays just beyond these trees. If we don't make it out, it has been an honor to serve for Mobius all these years and rebuild in our name. May our names stand alongside SkyKnight, our first fallen in this years long war! Now, with that out of the way. My friends will lead the assault, seperated amongst teams. Knuckles, you will seperate the teams." She steps down and lets Knuckles step up." Error, you will lead the combat team, Lash, you'll lead the team going after infinite with Martin and Chris, we just need him distracted, i feel that all 3 of you can distract him long enough for the combat team to tear through the base and get to eggman. Sans, you're gonna be our eyes and ears inside. I'll be joining the combat team inside." Lash nods." Come on you two, this is going to be terrifying, but i wouldn't have anyone else by my side." Martin fistpumps," yeah! We'll get this dude just like we got Ink." She smirks, obviously remembering the day." Didn't you nearly explode?" Martin chuckles," yeah, the Destruction energy wreaked havoc on my suit, but once Aviva got your transformation stabilized she was able to help the suits hold up to Mobian abilities, we use them alot more often back on our world. Zach seriously hates them, so i think you scarred him for life." I pick it up from there," yeah, and the rest of our villans don't even try to stand against us, Donita found a new method of fashion, Gormaund hung up his chef's hat, and our newest villain started working around wildlife reserves, only Zach really dares to bug us, and his bots have been getting stronger." She nods, seeming to think it over," what about the design of the robots?" I grimace," he's been making disguise bots that blend in with actual wildlife using tech that we've never seen." She facepalms." And that was what i was worried about, Zach and Egghead may be working together. Oh well, we know eggman's likely in his base. We get rid of eggman, maybe Zach will ease up." I sigh," maybe, we'll find out. For now, lets focus on the task on hand, you've been resisting us facing infinite this whole time, yet today you didn't resist, why?"
She smirks," because i've figured out a plan, if he's gonna dish out illusions, then we're gonna double them." She pulls out a tuft of fur that's white, and a second one that was offwhite." This is Sans's and Papy's powers. Both have flight, but they have different ways of activating it, Sans is through his tails, and papy uses his ears, but there's a second power i want to use against infinite that they themselves can no longer use."
Martin looks confused as he asks," and that is?" She chuckles," transform and lets hope this works." We nod and do so." Ok, this energy is unlike anything you've fought with so far, it's not part of the DNA, it's inside you, take deep breaths, find the raw energy, and pull it up like Chaos energy." Both of us close our eyes and i reach deep, feeling around when i find the pool of energy, one that had been growing the more i used these foreign energies, maybe this is what she was talking about? I reach into it and it rips me into it. I struggle at first, straining to take ahold of it, but then i feel it enter me, just pulling me deeper until a large emerald green heart forms at the bottom, the liquid energy seems to be asking me to use it, to help the heart. Without much choice, i reach down and touch it, when suddenly a emerald green glow fills the liquid, and a new power surges through me and i wake up, my eyes now glowing bright.
" wow, that was, different." She looks to Martin worrily," don't worry, he's ok, he's just having to do the same test i did. But i feel different." Whiplash then asks," what test?" I softly say as i focus," i reached into the power i had been gathering over these last few months, it sucked me under, and didn't let me up, but the energy wasn't hostile, it was gentle, asking for help. So i listened and it lead me to a massive heart, i touched it and now i feel different, stronger somehow." She nods," ok, well lets see what you can do, channel that energy and lets see what happens." I nod and i focus.
The energy came easier then all of the earlier energies. It reached through my arm and formed a set of green claws around my hands and she laughs." YES! I didn't think you would be able to use that part of the guys power." Martin then gasps and i catch him as his knees buckle," Martin! You ok?" He nods," yeah, i'm just not as good of an energy user as you, it was hard to get the heart glowing again." I nod," so you may have a harder time with this" i hold up my clawed hand and i notice how exhausted the test left him, and i carefully grab his arm with the claws, and the green energy wraps around him and martin sighs in relief." That's some crazy stuff your into Chris." " stuff we're both into, think you can stand now?" I nod and whiplash seems quite impressed." It looks like chris has Healing magic, martin, try to focus that energy, surely Knuckles taught you a bit of it." Martin nods and he channels it, the tails of the suit twirling as he focuses and a staff of golden magic forms and she smiles." There you go! Now lets go can an illusionist. You'll be able to use this power no matter what transformation you're in." They end those transformations and switch to Knuckles and lash's mobian powers, and she boosts off, me following right after, using chaos and my new abilities, and i catch up easily, martin managing to keep up with the rich blue lightning training behind him. Hopefully this will be the end of the war.
