Letizia is tightening her ponytail and Raguel is stretching his biceps while listening to the director's last minute warning before they shoot their stunt.

"You're both professional when it comes to action stunts. Alam niyo naman na ang gagawin niyo, right?" both of them nod their head. "You will jump from the third floor while hugging each other. May harness naman but it's dangerous if you don't jump correctly. Since you two don't want a stuntman, aasahan kong alam niyo na ang gagawin. Be careful, okay?"

Both Letizia and Raguel nodded and prepared themselves. Hindi sila nag-uusap. Parehas lang silang naka-focus at nagaabang sa go signal ng direktor. 

"3, 2, 1… action!" 

With the director's cue, Letizia and Raguel hugged each other and jumped.

What Letizia didn't expect is that her harness had a malfunction. Hindi nakakapit ang harness sa katawan niya. 

Fuck! I will surely fall and will injure myself, she thought. She will certainly fall kung hindi siya makakatalon ng maayos.

Raguel, on the other hand, realized what's happening. That's why before they dropped to the ground, he rolled over and made Letizia fall on his top. 

That's how Raguel Angelo Da Silva got an injury. By trying to save Letizia Mari Cordova, his co-worker and ex-wife.

Letizia's eyes were filled with shock when she fell without a scratch. Inasahan na niyang hindi tama ang pagkakatalon niya at magkakaroon ng injury. But Raguel made sure to hug her tight and that she'd fall on his top.

She panicked when she saw Raguel whimpered while lying on the thin mattress. Merong mattress na manipis pero delikado pa rin kung nagkamali ka at hindi naka-harness— lalo na't manipis lang ang nakalatag na mattress sa baba.

Dali-dali siyang tumayo at inalalayang tumayo si Raguel. The crew immediately went to them and asked what happened.

"R-Raguel…" Letizia mumbled.

She can't answer their questions about what happened. She's too worried and guilty to even construct a sentence. Her eyes started to water when she saw Raguel being carried on a stretcher by the standby medic.

Hannah, Letizia's personal assistant, went to her and gave her a glass of water. "Ma'am, inom po muna kayo. Kalma niyo po sarili niyo,"

With shaky hands and crying eyes, Letizia drank from the glass. "P-Please… call Anji. And ask Raguel's PA to call for his manager."

Hannah nodded and obliged what she was told to do.

Letizia was left alone crying and shaking. 

"Ma'am, si Sir Erwin daw po papunta na. Pero si Ma'am Anji wala pa ring reply." ani Hannah.

Letizia just nodded and released a shaky breath. At least Raguel's manager is on his way. 

The medic who attended Raguel went out of the medic's tent. Letizia immediately stood up and went to her. The director and some of the crew followed her.

"How is he, Doc? Is he okay?" Letizia asked worriedly.

The doctor just smiled at her. "He's doing fine. He injured a ligament on his legs while his back is swollen. Meron din siyang ilang gasgas sa braso at siko. But he'll be fine. Hindi malala 'yung mga injury niya."

Hindi naman napanatag si Letizia. How can he be fine if he has so many injuries? Niloloko ba ako nito ni Doc?

"So we need to halt the shooting, Doc?" the director asked.

The doctor nodded. "He can still shoot some scenes. Pero hindi niya kakayanin ang mga dangerous stunts for at least two weeks. I suggest mag-focus muna kayo sa ibang scenes or mag-hire na lang ng stuntman."

The director just nodded. 

Letizia, still worried, shamelessly asked the doctor. "Can I check on him? Or is he resting?"

Halata na ang duda sa ibang crew, maski sa direktor, dahil sa labis-labis na pag-aalala ni Letizia. But she didn't care. It's her fault kaya't nasa gano'ng kalagayan si Raguel.

"Yes, you can."

Without thinking, Letizia immediately went inside the tent and punched Raguel on his gut.

Raguel, who was lying on the hospital bed, grunted. "Aww! What the fuck? Baliw ka na ba talaga?"

"Ikaw?! Are you dumb?! Bakit ka umikot?! Look what happened to you!"

Letizia's furious while Raguel just chuckled. "Ano, gusto mo ikaw malaglag? Imbes mag-thank you, nanuntok pa. Amasona ka ba, ha?"

Letizia stifled a sob. "Ang b-bobo mo talaga! I c-can take care of m-myself!"

Raguel was startled when Letizia started to cry. "Ginawa ko lang 'yon kasi pa-cool ako. 'Wag ka nga umiyak diyan! 'Uy!"

Letizia's still crying and shaking. Lalo na't nakikita na niya ngayon ang ibang gasgas sa braso niya at ang binti nitong naka-benda. She was already dead worried when she heard him whimper earlier and when she saw him being carried by the stretcher.

She's blaming herself. The head of the props team told them earlier na merong isang harness na faulty. Aasikasuhin daw sila mamaya. Kaso dahil sa pride niya, ayaw niyang kasabay si Raguel. So she put the harness herself without anyone's help. Sanay na kasi siya sa action genre at sa pag-suot ng harness kaya't inisip niyang 'di na niya kailangan ng tulong ng iba.

That's why she can't help but blame herself. Kung hindi dahil sa kanya, hindi sana maiinjure si Raguel. Hindi sana maantala ang filming. They need to postpone some action scenes and need to halt today's filming in order for Raguel to recuperate.

Raguel chuckled. She's still a crybaby, he thought. He sat down, held her hand and rubbed his thumb at the back of her soft hand.

"Sshh, it's not your fault, hmm?" he tried to assure her. "Ginusto ko rin naman 'to. Kesa naman ikaw pa maaksidente."

Letizia bit her lower lip and sniffed. "You g-got hurt because of m-my stupid ass…"

"Wala namang bago do'n." Raguel chuckled.

Letizia was startled with Raguel's bold statement. Raguel just laughed out loud.

"Sige na, alis ka na. Magpapahinga ako. Pwede pa naman akong mag-shoot ng mga hindi action scenes. Magpapahinga lang ako," Raguel tightened his hold on her hand before letting it go.

Letizia, though hesitant, just nodded. "Okay… uh, r-rest well."
