Flashback to 17 years ago

Seokjin and his family were in Canada for their family vacation.
They all were taking a stroll near the rainbow bridge of Niagara falls. Seokjin was very happy because his family barely had time for him.
Let alone a vacation.

He's a very needy and affectionate kid. Being the only son of his parents, it's just very common to be lonely for him. Maybe that's the very reason why he committed a sin that he promised to not reveal to anyone. His parents knew how lonely their son was and that was the reason they encouraged him instead of prohibiting him.

They were driving back to their hotel.
It was almost midnight so there's a very few vehicle on the way.
Suddenly a car drove past them in a very high speed. And the next minute, the saw the same car crashed into a lamppost and spinned around a few times getting into a huge accident.
Mr Kim drove near the spot and saw a woman in her 40s, crawling out of the car with a small boy around 3 to 4 years in her arms. She was covered in blood she held her child tightly in her embrace. The child seem to have fainted due to shock. She walked towards the car and tapped on the window for some help.

Mr Kim rolled down the car window when the women started talking with a trembling voice.
"P-please save my kids. M-my dau-daughters are stuck i-inside t-the car." She cried begging the couples to save her children.
Mrs Kim nodded and took the fainted kid into her arms and laid him in little Seokjin's lap who immediately started to stroke the latter's head.

The couple were about to step out of the car when they already saw the woman ran back to her car, to save her daughters.
Just then a truck hit the car and it caught up the flames. Seokjin started crying seeing the horrible view infront of him.
Mrs Kim got worried and told her husband to drive away from the scene.

They reached back to their hotel room when the young boy woke up and suddenly started crying badly seeing the strangers. He kept calling for his mother. Mrs Kim wasn't able to calm the child. But shockingly, Seokjin was the one able to do so.
Mr Kim suggested that they should tell the cops but Seokjin didn't let them.
He persuaded his parents and told them how sad and lonely he feels when they leave him behind due to business purposes.
If anything, Mr Kim was very weak for his son's tears.
He gave in to his son's wish and the next morning they all flew back to South Korea.

A couple of days later, Seokjin found a scrapbook in the other kid's bagpack and saw a family photo of his.
The book contained his personal details and contact number etc.
Under the photo there was a name written in bold characters

Victor Sampson.

Seokjin pulled out the picture and threw the book away. He kept the picture in his album and hid it.
He grew too attached to the new boy in house that he didn't want to be alone. To his eyes, Victor was his brother and he wouldn't let anyone take his brother away.
But still, he kept Victor's family photo so that if somebody claims Victor as their child, he would have proof to protect the younger.

The picture was of none other than
Isabelle Sampson, her twin daughters, second daughter of the Sampsons Y/N and Victor (Taehyung).

But what he didn't know was that he's unknowingly stirring up someone's life very bad.

Everyone was in tears hearing Seokjin. Jungkook was the most traumatized hearing his hyung's confession.
All his life, he always admired his Jin hyung. He always looked up at him.
To him, perfection and Jin were the same thing.
But right now, all he felt was betrayal.
He couldn't believe that his hyung actually did something so low.
That his perfect hyung stole someone's only family.

Jimin didn't know what to feel or whom to ask for help. All he could do was hold his lover in his arms and trying to soothe his pain. He knew how much the maknae idolised their hyungs. Especially Jin.
But right now, he himself is at a greater loss of words.

The two elder rappers, Sope were the only sane ones. Hoseok wanted to shout at the elder but all he felt at the moment for Jin is pity. He knew how much Jin has protected Taehyung since the day he first met the younger.
Jin was so proud when he showed off that he got a younger brother.

Yoongi knew talking about everything that has already happened won't make it any better. He looked at Namjoon who didn't give any reaction. He knew that all his brothers are in pain. All he could do is to give them a shoulder to lean and cry on.

All of them were looking at Taehyung, who looked so broken as if he would shatter down any moment if anyone accidentally breathed loudly

His eyes were void of any emotions.
Everyone got worried seeing him in such a painful condition.

Jin bit his lips and slowly got closer to him. "T-taehyung-ah........"
The younger suddenly grabbed his collar tightly, slightly choking him. The rest widened their eyes at the sudden change in air.
Taehyung's eyes were bloodshot, glistening moist. Jin got scared seeing him like that.

The others tried to prevent the mishap but the maknae didn't let anyone. It was clear that more than one person were waiting for a clear explanation.
Taehyung spoke in a cold tone "Who am I? Tell me, who am I?
Tell me everything you said is a lie!
Say that you didn't knew about my real family!
Tell me that you didn't seperate me from my family!
Tell mee..........!" He screamed in pain.

Jin slowly blinked his eyes and let his tears slip down his cheeks.
He didn't say a word. He knew that he lost his brother.
He knew that he's already lost.
He spoke "The day you and Raven told Y/N about your relationship, I accidentally broke a photo frame attached to the side of piano.
It's the same picture as the one that I took out from your scrap book.
Y/N told me that it's the last memory of her with her mother and siblings."

Taehyung pushed the elder away from his and roared angrily "Really! Then who am I? What's my identity?
Tell me! Because she won't acknowledge me as her family anymore.
Even appa only tolerated me because of you!"
He started laughing hysterically and said "Yah Jimin-ssi.....! I'm an orphan.
I always was. Namjoonie hyung..........!
You're the smartest of us. You tell me.
Who am I? Please........"
Taehyung broke into tears. Namjoon hugged him tight hoping to take away the pain he's feeling.
He said "Let's go see your noona. She's been looking for you for a long time."
He took Taehyung and Jimin, Hoseok and Jungkook followed them out of the greenhouse.

Jin slumped down on the couch and curled himself up into a ball. He knew that this would happen someday. He knew it would be painful.
But he didn't wish to be left alone.
The next moment he felt someone sitting beside him. He turned his head and saw Yoongi snuggling up beside him.
He asked "Why didn't you also leave?"

Yoongi looked at him shrugging his shoulders and said "That tall, yellow hair kid keeps flirting with me. So I felt it's better to stay here."
Jin nodded and looked away.
Yoongi let his head fall on his hyung's shoulder and said "You always tried too hard to hold us up together. You loved us too hard hyung. Now rest up.
Let's be the one to hold you. Love you and protect you."

"Did you already forgive me for playing with your feelings?" Jin suddenly asked.
Yoongi smile and said "We're young hyung. Young and foolish hearts.
Mourning for our unrequited loves. You did what you felt was at the moment. Don't beat yourself up."

"Then give that kid a chance. He's really into you. The innocent love is the purest, honest ones. Because they love you with the bottom of their hearts." Jin murmured softly earning a small giggle.
"I will. But first, let's make everything right. And I surely love the chase!
"
Jin only hummed.

Suddenly the others barged into the room with a sad Taehyung.
Jungkook hugged the elder murmuring bundles of sorrys. Jin patted his head and the others jumped on the two and tackled them to the ground.
Namjoon said "Let's make it right.
Together."

The others shouted in unison "Together!"
