Nightmares, never leave anyone be at peace at night. They are a form of Torture?~

Yuno POV.

I woke up in shock. Sweat running down my neck. I looked around the room. Jewl was sound asleep on the other side of the room. I looked at the foot of my bed. Hanyu sat there, smiling at me.

"I take it that you remember things from the world before?" she asked. I gave a silent nod. I remember everything clearly. I had killed everyone, including Jewl. Tears began to run down my cheeks as I recalled what I did. Hanyu had got up and walked to the top of the bed and gave me a hug.

"Don't worry. You are forgiven by everyone. Even if they don't remember." She said as she let me go and disappeared. I again looked at Jewl and wiped the tears away. I got up and walked over to the window. I looked down at the trees and I thought I saw someone. It was still dark so its hard to tell. I walked back over to my bed and laid back down and fell asleep. The next morning I was woken up by a poke to the cheek. I opened my eyes. Of course one eye was always covered by my hair, I could still see. I just keep it covered for the reason of it being purple, when my whole family had green eyes. Jewl was smiling as she kept poking me.

"Good morning Yuno." She said Cheerfully.

"Good morning Jewl. I forget, what day is it?" I asked.

"Its Sunday, a week until the cotton drifting festival." she replied.

"Ok, thanks." I said. Not much time left then. Time appears to be getting shorter as the worlds keep repeating.

"Get ready Yuno, we are all going out today." Jewl said as she went over to the closet. I got up and got ready. We went down stairs together and met Rika and Satoko in the kitchen. Rika looked a little down. Maybe from the fact that she can't escape death. I'll talk to her about it later. We ate then left. We met Rena, Keiichi and Mion in town. I was so glad I could see them. The way I murdered them still played through my mind. I'll try to forget about that other world and focus on this one.

As we walked, Rika still seemed sad. She still had fun, but when the game was over, she would look sad again.

We were resting under a tree when Rena asked, "Is something bothering you Rika?" She looked toward Rena.

"No, its nothing." she replied. The day grew shorter and we all headed home. Jewl went with Rena for the night. When we got back to the house I asked Rika to meet me upstairs. I sat on my bed while I waited. Hanyu appeared beside me. Then Rika walked up the stairs and sat beside Hanyu.

"What did you want to talk about?" Rika asked.

"I noticed that you are sad, is it because of your fate?" I asked.

"Yea. I have been thinking about giving up. I have tried for over 100 years to change my fate, but all attempts have failed." she said.

"Have you ever tried asking for help?" I asked.

"No. I don't because I don't want my friends to get hurt. Even though they do get hurt and even killed. I have seen it to much and I can't take it anymore." She said as tears ran down her cheeks. I got up and went over to the window. I stared into the darkness and saw a figure again. It was clearer and I saw a man. I walked back toward the bed.

"There is a man outside in the bushes." I told them.

"Yea, this is what usually happens. I have tried many things, but nothing ever changes." she said.

"Maybe you should try to ask for help." I told her.

"Maybe I'll think about it." she said as she walked down stairs. Hanyu stood beside me.

"She may give up on this world, but with your advice and your presence she may ask for help in the next world." She said as she disappeared. I walked back over to the window. There was another person with the man. It looked like Miss Takano. The woman looked up at the window and stared at me with a sinister glare. She turned back toward the man, told him something, then left. I had a bad feeling.

The next day Jewl came home. I stayed in my room most of the day. Jewl sat on my bed with me.

"What's wrong Yuno?" Jewl asked.

"Its nothing. Do you remember anything from the last world?" I asked.

"Yes, I remember everything, even how you killed everyone. But I know that it wasn't your fault. It was the Hinamizawa Syndrome that made you kill us. Everyone forgave you as you killed yourself." she told me.

"Oh, well last night I saw Miss Takano outside in the bushes with another guy. She looked up at me and glared at me. I have a bad feeling that I shouldn't have seen that." I told her.

"Did you tell Rika?" Jewl asked. I shook my head.

"If I die, I want you to tell her what I saw then. Don't say anything unless I die." I told her.

"Alright. I promise." she said. It was beginning to get dark out. We got ready for bed then went to sleep. The cotton drifting festival came up so fast. It was tomorrow. Rika had been practicing hard for the past week. The next day came and Jewl, Satoko and I got up early to make breakfast. We had a special breakfast since today is special for everyone in the village and mostly Rika. Rika walked into the kitchen and was surprised by what we made. We ate then got ready to head to the festival.

We met Mion, Rena and Keiichi at the entrance. We played many games and like always, Keiichi lost most of them. The time came for Rika's dance and I sat under a tree while she did it. Takano came up from behind me.

"Hello Yuno, how are you today?" she asked.

"Good. What about you?" I asked.

"I have been good, but I am a little disappointed. Jiro was sick and couldn't come to Hinamizawa this year for the festival." she said.

"Aw. That's sad. I hope he feels better soon." I told her.

"Yea, could you meet me later?" she asked.

"Sure, but where?" I asked.

"By the river outside of the festival, around midnight." she said. Then walked away. The dance was over, so I stood and went to find the others. We all took a piece of cotton and put it in the river. I saw Hanyu appear beside me.

"I have a feeling that someone is trying to kill me and I think it is Takano. I also think she is trying to kill Rika. If I die, tell Rika what I told you." I told her in a whisper. She gave a nod and disappeared. I pulled Jewl over to me. I told her about my conversation with Takano.

"Incase I die tonight, I will give you a farewell here." I told Jewl. It was almost 11pm now. Jewl and the others was some of the last people to leave the festival. I told them that I had to take care of some business and won't be back for a while. They left and I made my way to the meeting point.

I sat by the edge of the river while I waited for Takano to come. I skipped rocks along the surface of the water. I pulled my bangs away from my left eye. I stared at my reflection. I heard footsteps behind me. I turned and saw Takano.

"Why did you want to meet out here?" I asked.

"I wanted to meet you out here so I could dispose of you." she said with a grin spread across her face. My blood went cold.

"Why do you want to kill me?" I asked.

"Because you saw me outside of your house. You weren't supposed to see that." she said. She pulled out a syringe. Four men in tan uniforms surrounded me. Now I know, she is the one who is trying to kill Rika. She slowly walked toward me. Two of the men grabbed my arms. I struggled as I tried to get away but they had a strong grip on me. Takano took the syringe and pushed the needle into my arm. As the liquid entered my bloodstream, I felt the urge to scratch my neck. The men let me go and I feel toward the ground. Just like the last world I die by scratching my own throat out. I coughed up blood.

"I- won't let- you win." I said as my last words. I fell to the ground, dead so soon.

Jewl POV.

I woke up the next morning to Satoko shaking me rapidly.

"Wake up Jewl, Officer Oishi is at the door!" she said. I am now worried. I got up and rushed down the stairs with Satoko. Oishi was standing inside. I fear Yuno is dead.

"Now that everyone is here, we found Yuno Tomina's body by the river. She had clawed out her own throat. I am sorry to tell you this." He said. Tears began to run down my face. She was right about being targeted. Oishi left and we sat at the kitchen table. This news hit me the hardest. I remembered the promise I had made. I told Rika and Satoko what Yuno had told me. Rika looked toward her right where I saw Hanyu. But it wasn't just Hanyu, I saw Yuno.

"This is the last time you will see me in this world. Hanyu could only do this for me once, then I'll have to wait in the void for everyone else." Yuno said as she started to disappear. Tears ran down my face as she said those words. Rika also began to cry. Even Satoko joined in on the crying. Rena, Mion and Keiichi came over. We all mourned the death of Yuno together. After everyone left I sat at the table.

"Yuno wants you to survive Rika." I told her. I heard banging on the doors. Rika hid me and Satoko in a small hiding place. She left us there and ran. We stayed quiet as we heard multiple footsteps run through the house. We heard a man yell there she goes then all was quiet. We stayed in the hiding spot for about two hours. The sun was rising into the sky. We put on our shoes and ran to look for Rika. We went to the shrine first. There were many crows at the entrance to the shrine. We walked over and the crows flew away. Both Satoko and I screamed at what we saw. We saw Rika. She was stabbed to death. Yuno again was right, Takano had killed Rika. We ran to Rena's house which was closest to where we were. I knocked on the door.

Rena opened up and said, "What are you both doing here so early?" She was rubbing the sleep from her eyes. We told her what had happened.

"Oh, no! Rika is dead?!" she said in shock. We only nodded. She walked over to us and hugged us.

"We need to tell the oth-"She said but was then cut off by men in hazard suits barging into the house. They forced us out of the house. We tried to talk to them but they wouldn't answer. They had forced the whole village into the school. We found Mion and Keiichi in there as well.

"What is going on?" I asked Mion.

"I don't know?" Mion said. We were all scared. The men had sealed most of the exits and windows. They then threw in a poisonous gas grenades and we all began to choke. One by one everyone fell to the ground, dead. I was the last one alive and as I fell to the ground, I kept saying that Takano is the one we need to save Rika from.
