Luna POV:

Twilight and I stand on the beach looking at the island.

"Its not much is it." Twilight says looking at me.

"Don't say that, cant you feel the power in the air around us?" I ask looking around.

As I look I can feel someone walking over to us, I ignite my hands with my magic and Twilight opens her wings wide and holds onto my back ready to move me at a moments notice. We stand there listening for the slightest noise that means danger.

"Is someone there?" A sweet voice asks.

Twilight and I stay silent and begin to walk into the dense forest that appears to be everywhere on this island.

"If your not a member of Fairy Tail then you need to leave." The voice asks again.

I then remember the reason I came here.

"We're not members but we're here to warn you." I say standing as tall as I can.

A tall white haired woman walks from the forest holding some dishes that look like hundreds of people have eaten off, her white hair hangs down her back and her bangs are pulled into a pony tail on the top of her head. But the thing I love most about her is her bright blue eyes, they are exactly like mine.

"Who are you?" She asks with an eagerness in her voice.

I pick Twilight off my back and untie my hair because if I'm honest I hate having my hair up, with Twilight in my arms I step forward with a confidence I didn't know I had.

"My name is Luna." I say looking at the woman.

She drops all the dishes she was holding and they shatter on the ground, I step back alarmed and then walk towards the broken dishes and cups.

"Be careful, you might hurt your self." I say to her as I pick up some of the pieces with Twilight helping me.

"What's your last name Luna...." The woman asks me kneeling down to my level.

"Nightwing, my dad chose it for me when he found me." I say as we both stand up. There is something familiar about this woman but I don't know what it is.

"Found you? What do you mean found you?" The woman asks pulling my wrist as she takes me deep into the forest.

"Um miss where are you taking me?" I ask as she continues to pull me along.

"I'll tell you that when we arrive, but for now tell me about your self." She says slowing down from a brisk walk to a slower walk.

"Well when I was five years old my whole family was killed in a house fire, I was the only one who escaped. I was so tired that I collapsed and that's when my father found me, he took me in and raised me as his own child. Even though that's impossible." I say while Twilight tugs at my hair.

"Why is it impossible?" The woman asks softly.

"He's a dragon." I answer simply.

She stops in her tracks then turns to face me, she places her hands onto my shoulders and smiles softly to me.

"Did he disappear in the year X777?" She asks me.

"No why?" I ask confused.

"Luna the reason! Your letting your curiosity get the better of you again." Twilight says looking at me sternly.

"Oh right! A Dragon is coming to attack in two days time." I say pulling the woman's arm.

"What? They all disappeared years ago. That's what all the other dragon slayers said, right Luna come with me questions can be asked later. My name is Mirajane, does that sound familiar?" She asks hopefully.

I think for a moment as we continue to walk. Why DOES it sound familiar?

"It does sound familiar..." I say as we walk into what looks like a campsite.

Everyone in the campsite stops and looks at me, one boy in particular comes running over to me only to receive a scratch from Twilight.

"Hey! Stupid cat, why do you smell like a dragon!" The boy asks me.

He must be about sixteen or seventeen and he has bright pink hair!

"Um because my dad is one, you smell like one too you know." I say in a huff.

Everyone continues to stare at me.

"Will you all cease staring at Luna, she has come to warn you about some terrible things that are to come." Twilight says and everyone sweatdrops.

"Well my child tell us what you have come to warn us about." A short old man says walking over to me, he stops looks at me then mirajane then back to me. Strange.

"Well...." I start only to dodge a spell coming right towards me.

Destruction magic!

"YOU!" I shout looking at the man with burnt orange hair. Only now he has two false limbs and a huge scar across his stomach.

"What are you doing here kid! You should be with your demon of a father!" He yells at me. only to be cut off by a loud roar.

"He's early! He told me two days from now! Uncle Z!" I yell as everyone shakes from the vibrations of the roar.

"No it cant be..." The burnt orange hair man says.

Twilight picks me up and I notice the other people who smell like dragons have cats like Twilight, cool. Twilight holds me tightly in her paws and carries me through the forest to what looks like another beach, and there in the sky is a huge silhouette of my father.  

"DAD!" I yell hoping to get his attention.

"Get back kid!" Someone yells at me, again this man is familiar.

He has short white hair and huge arms, why is he protecting me?

"Dad! Why are you doing this!" I yell hoping to get his attention.

"I said stay back!" The man says grabbing hold of me, Twilight tries to get him off me and then a long forgotten memory comes back into my head.

-Flashback!-

Me and my sisters are playing hide and seek while our brother looks for us.

"Over here Luna!" One of my sisters yell.

"Um can any of you smell smoke..." I say and the others look shocked.

We all run back to our little cottage to see the thatch roof ablaze with fire, my oldest sister runs into the house and comes back out with her snow white hair darkened by the smoke.

"Its no use! I cant see a thing in there!" She says looking at us sadly.

I then remember something that a passing salesman taught me, when ever there is smoke you need to crawl around to get out of it.

I run to the door and crawl on my hands and knees.

"Luna NO!" My sister yells.

"I have to!" I say coughing.

As I crawl on the floor the smoke fills my lungs and my head is spinning, my chest feels like its on fire.

"Mama! Papa!" I yell my voice becoming more and more hoarse.

"Luna!" voices yell to me from all sides.

As I crawl forward I see mama and papa lying under a burning pile of wood, I look at them with fear in my eyes and then try to move some of the pieces that aren't on fire.

"Luna go out the back door! You need to get out of here darling!" A kind motherly voice says to me...

The next thing I remember is walking along and then waking up with dad.

With the memory in my mind the man finally drops me, I look at him and my brain feels like it's remembering more.

"Luna! Are you ok?!" Mirajane says running over to me.

"Mira..." I whisper and then another roar pierces through the sky.

I run away from them and see my father flying down and looking at us, in his dragon form he usually has pale blue eyes that show kindness. But now his eyes are pitch black.

"How could you Uncle Z!" I yell into the air.

"Who's uncle z?" A blonde woman asks.

"He's not really my uncle....His name is Zeref." I say and ignite my hands with magic, there are gasps behind me.

"Zeref? Your truly deadly just like your father." The orange haired man says to me.

"Gildarts leave her alone!" Mirajane yells to him. "She's just a child!"

"I'm not just any child..." I shout over the sounds of spells attacking dad, it kills me to see them do this. But when he's like this, he not the same father I know. "I'm the daughter of a Dragon!" I yell and jump up.

Twilight picks me up and carries me high into the sky. I watch as other dragon slayers send a roar at dad, tasty.

"Twilight lets go!" I yell above the wind and magic.

We dive down and Twilight lets me go and I fall into the ball of magic that has surrounded dad.

"Luna NO!" Mirajane and two other people yell.

I ignore them and eat as much as I can, this is how I get my magic. By eating other people's magic. I jump from the cloud of dust that gathered around me while I was eating, wiping my mouth I smile back at the dragon slayers.

"Thanks for the meal, time for me to cause some damage." I say and face my father.

"Isn't he your dad?" The pink haired man yells.

"Not anymore he isn't, I don't think he'll be able to come back from this one. Watch me!" I yell and then unleash my powers.

"Apocalypse Dragon ROAR!" I yell and a bright beam of blue and silver magic comes shooting from my mouth directly at my father.

"Back home to Fairy Tail." I hear behind me and watch as everyone links hands together to form a circle.

I watch as dad prepares for a roar and feel tears fall down my cheeks, I'm all alone now...

"You too Luna." Mirajane says and pulls me and Twilight over, I end up holding hands with Mirajane and another woman with short white hair. Twilight holds hands with a blue and black cat, they must be the same kind of cat as Twilight.

"Back home to my family." I whisper and dad sends a bright blue beam of magic down on us, I try and eat as much as I can but then everything fades to black.
