Luna POV:
Lucy and Yukino pulled out their keys and turned to me, since the gate was forged using Celestial magic then maybe Celestial magic could destroy it? Focusing hard the pair again summoned the twelve zodiac spirits and sent them attacking the gate, however as the spell ended there wasn't even a dent or a scratch.

"It didn't work, maybe I should give it a try." I suggested but was distracted by Natsu fighting with Rogue.

It was a mixture of smoke and flames as they fought and Atlas Flame fought hard against MotherGlare, but as I was distracted Lucy and Yukino summoned spirits individually to have them attack the gate. I was starting to get annoyed  so I slammed my head into the gate and roared, people were dying because of this gate. It needed to be destroyed.

"Get out of the way!" I heard someone yell. "Get away from the gates!"

Looking up I saw Natsu was driving MotherGlare into the gate, thinking quickly I grabbed everyone I could and shielded them with my body as a loud explosion filled my ears. Shrapnel from the gate hit my scales but I hardly felt a thing, letting everyone go we looked towards the gate to see it was completely destroyed. I could feel happiness swell inside me as I looked at the destruction, however I was concerned. Would Lucy's theory be correct?

I looked down at my self and saw that nothing was happening, however Zirconis was beginning to glow brightly. Turning my head towards the city I saw bright lights everywhere, time was rewinding, but I was left untouched.

"NOOOOOO!" Zirconis yelled. "What's this?!"

"The dragons are vanishing!" Wendy cried looking at Zirconis.

"Some Punny humans?! Even though you're worthless!" He yelled annoyed.

"I'm sorry." Princess Hisui said making her way towards Zirconis.

"Princess!" Arcadios yelled.

"Look out!" Wendy warned.

"I'm the one responsible for the construction of the gates, I'm the one that caused a disruption to your flow of time." Hisui said a king her way forward. "You who lived 400 years in the past and us who live in the present, we were never meant to have any conflict with each other. The one who made it all spin out of control was I."

"And you are?" Zirconis asked annoyed.

"Hisui E Fiore." Hisui said introducing her self.

"Hisui?" Zirconis questioned.

"Yes, the same as the colour of your body. Jade." Hisui explained.

As Zirconis and Hisui spoke I collapsed to the ground, exhausted. Mirajane made her way over to me and rested her hand on my head. Lisanna and Elfman soon found their way over to us and looked at me stunned, both of them ran towards me and rested their hands on my scales. Looking over at Lucy I noticed the book in her hand vanishing, with a happy sigh I allowed my self to relax. However as Natsu made his way over to me I got scared, part of me wanted to run away and hide. But where could a dragon like me hide?

"Luna..." He said reaching his hand forward. "I'm so sorry."

"I'll be ok, don't worry about me." I said with a small smile.

After about a week the celebrations for the victors of the grand magic games was held inside the palace, since I was so big and couldn't fit inside all the windows were open so I could feel included. However there was a part of me that knew I couldn't stay here forever, looking inside I saw my brother and sisters happily dancing and enjoying delicious looking food. With a sigh I twisted my tail around my self carefully and sat down. I don't know how long I sat looking up at the stars before I felt a warm hand on my front leg, turning my head I saw Natsu dressed in the kings clothes. Chuckling I lowered my head so I was level with him.

"Hey Luna." Natsu said sitting on my leg.

"Hi Natsu, so what's with all the cool clothes?" I asked.

"The king said I could borrow his crown." He said simply.

"Define borrow." I said with a chuckle.

We both sat in silence for a couple of minutes until I finally spoke up.

"Natsu, I'm going to need to leave." I said with a sigh.

"What? Leave?" He questioned.

"Well I can't exactly go back to the guild hall as a dragon can I?" I said to him. "Realistically how would I be able to live in peace?"

"We would help you!" Natsu yelled at me. "Why did you even do it Luna!"

"Natsu!" I yelled hurt. "I did it to protect you all!"

"But I should have been the one to protect you!" Natsu yelled and that was when I noticed the tears on his cheeks. "I should have been the one to protect you Luna!"

"Natsu." I said lowering my head to nudge his. "You did protect me, I chose to do this. Future Lucy told me I would need to make the depiction at some point, and I knew this would happen at some point. It was just a case of when." I explained.

"Please don't leave." Natsu pleaded with me.

"I need to see if I can find something or someone who can turn me back to normal, but I promise as soon as I'm human again I'll come straight back to you." I said softly.

With a nod Natsu focused his dark eyes on my blue ones, he then planted a soft kiss onto my head.

"Can you tell Master Makarov to get everyone from the guild? I want to say goodbye." I asked him.

With a nod Natsu quickly made his way into the ballroom and assembled the guild, all of them looked confused as to why Natsu had gathered them. And I knew this would be tough but I needed to get through it, standing up I looked down on everyone who was standing on the balcony of the ballroom.

"I'm going to be leaving for a while." I explained. "I need to find a way to become human again."

"I'm coming with you." Mirajane said walking forward. "When do we leave Luna?"

"No Mira." I said to her. "You need to stay with Lisanna and Elfman."

"You really think I'm going to let you go off alone again?" She questioned with tears in her eyes.

"Mirajane I'll be fine, just think of this as me going on a job for a long time." I said giving her face a nudge with mine. "Besides no one will mess with me."

Many of the guild members were in tears as we said our goodbyes, I didn't know that I meant so much to these people. We had only known each other less then six months but they were all so dear to me, the last to say goodbye to me were my teammates. Wendy was bawling her eyes out, Grey was looking depressed, Lucy was tearful and so was Erza. The exceeds all hugged my face as best they could with their paws, but Twilight stayed back.

"Twilight." I said as she turned towards me, tears filling her soft eyes. "Will you take care of Mirajane and the others for me?"

She nodded her head and wrapped her paws over my snout tightly, with a small chuckle I opened my wings wide.

"Don't worry everyone, I'll be back really soon." I said flapping my wings to become air born.

As I looked down Natsu was holding his hand in the Fairy Tail salute, flapping my wings hard I moved my own large hand to do the salute back to them. Then with a strong flap and tears filling my eyes I flew away, it was the middle of the night when I left and now the sun was rising. I decided to fly towards the sea and see if there was somewhere besides Fiore where I could find someone, and soon an island came into view. There was a large empire near the coast so I decided to go further in land before landing, once I was on the ground I lowered my head down to drink some water from a large pond. I was hungry, and exhausted. So I knew I needed to rest, lying down by the lake I sighed to my self.

It had been about a week since I arrived at this island, and I knew I needed to approach the empire but I was scared. But I knew that it was now or never, so I stood up and stretched. However I soon saw someone making their way through the surrounding woods, ready to fly away I braced my self.

A woman slowly made her way towards me, she had deep crimson hair and brown eyes. But it was her scent that caught my attention, it was so familiar but I couldn't remember who it reminded me of.

"Don't be afraid." She said looking at me with sympathy in her eyes. "I can help you."

"How do I know I can trust you?" I questioned, still uneasy.

"Because I was like you once, my name is Irene Belserion." The woman said introducing her self. "Wait one moment."

Holding what looked like a staff she held it high and chanted something under her breath, but as she spoke my body began to feel warm. My body was soon covered in a white light and I felt my body land on the grass, I could feel the grass against my skin. Looking up I looked at my body and saw that I was back to normal, tears fell down my cheeks as I rubbed my hands along my bare skin. After I had calmed down I realised that I didn't have any clothes on, but the woman passed me her cloak and gave me some bread to eat.

"Thank you for saving me." I said enjoying the full feeling in my stomach.

"I might have saved you, but this form is only an illusion. Once the transformation takes place there is no known way to go back." She explained. "Come with me, I'll take you somewhere you'll be safe."

"But I need to get home to my family and Natsu." I said standing up and pulling the cloak tightly around me.

"Natsu? As in Natsu Dragneel?" She asked me.

"Yes, do you know him?" I asked eagerly.

"No, but I know someone who does." She explained and offered me a hand.

Taking her hand she began to lead me through the woods to a road, where a carriage was waiting for us. We spoke a little on the journey, it was crazy for me to think how far away I actually was from the empire. Looking out of the window I watched as large houses appeared.

"Irene, what is this empire called?" I asked.

"It's called Alvarez." She said as I looked outside in awe.
