Luna POV:

As the door continues to slowly open Wendy comes over and grabs onto my arm, she looks up at me and smiles softly.

"This should save our future right?" She asks me.

"Yeah, it should." I say back to her.

"It makes you think about the Lucy who came back from the future for us, huh?" She says wiping some tears from her eyes.

I go to reply to her but then I notice something, Lucy begins to walk towards the gate. Her eyes have glazed over, and it's like she's being controlled by something. 

"Lucy?" I call out to her.

She continues to walk as she speaks. "No...we can't...open the door...we have to shut it right now!" Lucy yells. "Shut the door right now! You can't open the door!" 

"Lucy what's going on!" I yell running to her side.

"Why this all of a sudden?!" Happy yells.

"What is she saying?" Arcadios asks.

The door then opens fully as white light fills the area around us illuminating everything, Lucy continues to plead with everyone that they close the gate. 

"We cannot! This is the only weapon that can defeat the horde of dragons!" Princess Hisui yells. "If we close it now...then we cannot fire the Eclipse Cannon!"

Lucy's eyes turn back to normal as she walks to the princess, her face mere inches away from the princesses.

"There is no Eclipse Cannon! This is a door! A door that connects two points in time!" Lucy yells.

"The Eclipse cannon fires all the accumulated magic energy! That's what it is!!" The princess argues back.

"No it doesn't! This isn't a weapon at all!" Lucy yells, fear and anger laced in her voice.

"Enough! This is the Princess of Fiore you are talking to!" Arcadios yells trying to break the two of them up.

I walk up to him and give him a push so he stumbles back. 

"Listen here, if Lucy has a reason for wanting the gate to be closed then hear her out! Lucy wouldn't say something unless it needed to be said." I say crossing my arms over my chest. 

"Right now, the door...leads 400 years into the past..." Lucy starts to explain.

Suddenly the earth begins to shake, huge shock waves causing each of us to stumble. I catch Lucy before she falls over and then look up, the moon has turned a deep crimson as the eclipse takes place. Making sure she's ok I then look at the gate, and feel my heart stop.

"No way.." Twilight says.

"That can't be..." One of the guards says as we all focus our eyes on the eclipse gate.

Out from the gate walks a huge dark figure, it's huge body somehow managing to fit though the gate. It raises it's head back and roars loudly.

"A dragon...from the door...?!" Princess Hisui yells shocked.

The dragon roars loudly sending all of us flying back from the force, it raises an arm and then brings it crashing down sending a destructive beam through Crocus.

"I never dreamed they'd be this..." Arcadios says.

The guards begin to yell questions as the dragon looks around, roaring loudly as it shows it's dominance. 

"There's another one coming through!" Someone yells.

"What's going on?! They keep coming!" Another cries.

Lucy glares at the princess and then grabs onto her shoulders, the determination is Lucy's eyes is masked by the fear on her face as she focuses on the princess.

"How do you close the door?!" Lucy demands. "Hurry!"

"Th-that pedestal over there!" The princess yells pointing over to a set of controls.

Lucy then tries to run over to the controls but is pushed back the force of another dragon, grabbing onto her arms I summon my wings. 

"Come on Lucy!" I yell over the sound of cries and destruction.

Flapping my wings quickly I drop Lucy over at the controls, once she's down I fly back over to Wendy to make sure she's safe.

"I just have to pull the trigger, right? Using my Celestial Magic!" Lucy yells trying to reach the handle.

Looking over at the princess I watch her fall to her knees, tears fall down her cheeks as she comes to a shocking realization.  

"SO the ten thousand dragons...come through the door?!" She yells looking towards the gate.

"Lucy! When did you realize the truth!" Wendy yells towards her.

"It wasn't me! I asked Old Man Crux to look into it a while ago! But his report on the door only came through a few minutes ago!" Lucy yells. "It's a machine that mixes the magic of the book of Zeref with Celestial Magic! Normally, it would let you send coordinates and move through time. But today is special....the moon's warping time!"

"It's Lunatic..." Arcadios says looking up at the gate.

"That's why it isn't responding to our controls. It leads to 400 years ago...an age where dragons ruled the world!" Lucy yells trying to pull the handle of the gate.

"Lucy! Why isn't the door closing!" I yell to her holding my arms over my face to protect it from the rubble flying through the air.

"Why! Why can't I close the door!" Lucy yells while trying to pull the gate closed.

The princess continues to sob while people try and move her.

"Because of my mistake...this world will end! This world will be swallowed by the dragon's wrath..." She cries.

"I don't want that!!" Lucy yells as she's blown away from the gate, pushing her self to her feet she begins to walk towards the gate. "The other Lucy...I have to live on for her too! I need to laugh, cry, and live enough for both me ad her!"

"Lucy! You need to shut the door quickly!" I yell over to her.

Dragons have begun to pour through the door, each of them leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Lucy pulls on the gate handle with everything she has inside her, but it's not budging at all.

"There isn't enough Celestial power!" Arcadios yells.

"Then let me help!" A female voice calls.

"Yukino!" I yell happily looking over at her. 

Mirajane runs over to me and pulls me into her arms, holding onto her tightly I watch Lucy and Yukino.

"Lucy! Use you're golden keys!! With mine, we can use all twelve to close the door!" Yukino yells her idea pulling out her gold keys.

"Using the spirits?!" Lucy yells making sure she has the right idea.

Both girls toss their keys into the air, the keys then form a golden ring high in the sky. Lucy and Yukino kneel on the ground holding each other's hands, a golden light begins to surround them as they begin the spell.

"O spirits of the twelve golden gates, grant us the power to shut out the evil that besieges us!" Both girls yell, the golden light becoming stronger and stronger. "Open!!!"

"Twelve gates!"

"ZODIAC!" 

Each of the lights from the keys begins to surround the girls, and soon the spirits begin to appear. One by one each of the twelve zodiac spirits begins to circle the girls, still bathed in the golden light.

"Help us!" Lucy yells.

And then with a nod the spirits jump into action, six on each of the doors they begin to push. Each of them focusing their energy as a zodiac spirit to force the gate closed, but something's wrong. The spirits look weak, and then I realize how much Lucy and Yukino have had to fight in the last 24 hours. Their magic levels must be at zero right about now, but they are still trying to focus as much energy as they can into their spirits so they can close the gate. Stepping forward from Mirajane's grasp I look up, it's all been leading to this point. Where I make my decision.

"Luna?" Mirajane asks.

"It's all come down to this.." I say looking at the weak spirits. "The point in time where I choose what I do, do I change into a dragon to save my friends? Or do nothing and simply watch them as the die."

"Luna you can't change!" Mirajane says grabbing onto my shoulders.

"Mira, if I don't do this everyone I care about will die!" I yell at her.

"But if you do this then you won't come back! You'll be stuck as a dragon forever! I can't loose you again!" She yells with tears flowing freely down her cheeks.

Smiling softly I take her hands in mine, they are now covered in scales and my hands have turned into claws. I feel tears fill my own eyes as I look at Mirajane.

"I'm sorry that I left you alone for so long Mirajane, if I'd have known about you sooner then I would have come running to you. Or if I had my memories back, I wouldn't have wasted a second in coming back to you, Elfman and Lisanna..." I say sniffing. "You mean the world to me, please forgive me Mirajane. I won't let them kill any of you.."

And with that I release her hands and run towards the gate, memories fill my mind as I run. When I first found dad, when I found Mirajane and the others again, when I met Natsu, when I joined Fairy Tail, going on adventures, kissing Natsu... Natsu.. I wish I could have gotten to speak with him one last time and tell him how much I love him, but I can't wait. Looking up at the gate I ignore the cries of people telling me to get back, I then begin to absorb the magic energy from the gate. I look up at Loke and notice him shaking his head at me, like he's trying to stop me from doing what I'm about to do.

"Everyone, it's ok." I say loud enough for everyone to hear me. "I'm doing this because I know it's the right thing to do, you all might want to get back. I don't know how big I'm going to be..."

"Luna please don't!" Mirajane yells, turning my head around I look at the pain on her face

"Don't worry Mirajane, and thank you. For being the best big sister ever." I say and then let the power begin to swell inside me.

"LUNA!" I hear Mirajane yell as my power begins to reach it's peak.

My body begins to glow a soft blue colour as the power inside me grows, holding my hands up my wings appear on my back and raise me so I'm eye level with the dragons. Closing my eyes I feel my body begin to change, and it's agony. My entire body begins to burn as I begin to transform, my arms begin to grow in size and muscle, a tail begins to grow from my lower back whipping around, my wings begin to grow causing the skin on my back to split. I continue to absorb the magic energy to help my transformation continue, my jaw begins to grow as rows of jagged teeth fill my mouth. And then, my transformation is complete.

Mirajane POV:

Wendy holds me back as I watch the silvery blue light surround Luna, I can hear her cries of pain as she transforms. The other dragons even look awed by the light, as it dies down I see Luna. Her white and blue scales shining in the crimson moonlight, her large wings flapping to keep her body high. She then begins to descend, landing on the ground with a thud Luna arches back her now large head and roars loudly. She then pushes back the dragons and walks to the door, being mindful to  keep her tail high so she doesn't hit anyone. 

"Luna..." Wendy says looking at her. "She looks just like..."

"Yeah.." I say wiping tears from my cheeks. "She looks like Acnologia..." 

Luna's body is just a little smaller than Acnologia's and her scales are white and blue compared to his black and blue ones, other than that they are identical. Luna reaches the door and stands up on her back legs, putting her front legs on the top of the door away from the spirits she begins to push. Pushing the door with all her might she and the spirits soon manage to close the doors, Luna lands back on her legs and then turns to face me. I look at her arm and notice it, on her arm just like before is her blue Fairy Tail guild mark. Her eyes are still the same blue as before and they still hold the same pure light as they did before, she walks over to me and lowers her head down so she's looking at me.

"Luna..." I say looking at her. 

I hold up my hand and place it on her scales, I was expecting them to be cold. But they are warm, Luna's large eyes fill with tears as she looks at me.

"Don't worry Luna...we'll change you back. I promise you, we'll get you back." I say to her, a soft smile on my face.

"We managed to close the gate." Luna says to me, I blink and then realize it's telepathy. "The only issue we have now is the dragons that managed to get through the gate, I'll try to help as much as I can. But so far all I know how to do is roar, not much of a dragon am I?" Luna asks with a chuckle.

"How is it you can still crack jokes at a time like this?" I ask gesturing around us.

"I'm a Fairy Tail wizard, comes with the job. Or I've been around Natsu for too long." She says and I can't help but laugh.

Luna then lowers her head even more.

"Climb on, it's safer on my back than it is down here." She tells me.

Gulping I use her scales to climb onto her so I'm sitting on her neck, her scales are so soft and it doesn't feel uncomfortable to sit here. Is this what the dragon slayers felt when they were with their parents? A feeling of comfort, and of love?

"Hold on tightly Mirajane, don't want you falling off!" She yells and then begins to flap her wings. "Mirajane, can you tell me how many dragons came through!" 

I take a quick glance around to see how many dragons I can spot, there seven dragons of all different types. 

"There are seven Luna!" I yell to her.

"Right then, I need to round up the slayers. We have some dragons to slay." She says and then begins to look for the dragon slayers.
