Luna POV:

Today was the day. The final day of the grand magic games, and where was I? Underground....Master Makarov and Master Mavis had created a brand new team for the games today, the team consisted of Erza, Juvia, Laxus, Gajeel and Gray. Master also created a team to rescue Lucy and Yukino, and on this team was me, Wendy, Natsu and then exceeds. Oh and my sister Mirajane too, even though I told her we didn't need her to come along master insisted that she came.

"Come on, let's get Lucy and Yukino back." I say linking my fingers with Natsu's. "Where are we heading to Mira?"

"The palace, the first believes that's where Lucy and Yukino are being hidden. So our plan is to go there first and fight our way to the dungeons, then once we have both of the girls we'll help them to escape hopefully before the end of the games." Mirajane replies as we begin to run down the streets of Crocus.

We quickly made our way to the palace in crocus, it was huge and clearly full of guards.

"So how exactly are we going to get inside the palace?" Wendy asked.

"I have the perfect idea!" Heppy yelled.

Within a couple of minutes Natsu was dressed like a bear, Wendy was dressed like the pumpkin man, Mira was dressed in a skimpy bikini with a mask on her face, and I was dressed like a tree.....

"How are these supposed to help Happy?!" I yelled while he giggled looking at us.

"What'd you mean?! They are perfect!" He cried out with a bright grin on his face.

"I have a better idea, Mirajane you use take over magic right?" I asked pulling the branches from my hair.

Mirajane looks at me confused but then smiles, after a little more talking Mirajane ties me, Natsu and Wendy up and then changes herself to look like one of the palace guards. Mirajane begins to walk forward while holding onto the ropes that held us, she walks into the palace and we are confronted by other guards.

"Who are they?" He asks.

"Caught them sneaking in, my guess is they are trying to break that Fairy Tail girl out." Mira says while adjusting her grip o us.

"Um, his Majesty and the ministry of defence aren't here right now. Toss them in the dungeon." The guard directed.

Mirajane began to walk to one direction but the guard quickly shouted at her saying she was going the wrong way, quickly thinking Mirajane said that she had recently been transferred. Once we were out of sight Mirajane changed into her normal self and untied the ropes.

"Nice one Mira." Natsu said giving her a high five.

We began to run down some stairs which lead to the dungeon, it was dark and a little spooky but soon lamps began to illuminate the cells. I took a sniff to see if I could pick up on Lucy or Yukino's scent, I closed my eyes to help me concentrate and soon I picked up on a soft blend of Vanilla and Strawberries. Its Lucy! She always wears that perfume!

"Guy's she's this way." I tell them and begin to run to the scent. "Lucy?" I call in the hopes that she'll hear me.

"Lucy!" Natsu yells.

"We're trying to sneak in Natsu!" I whisper harshly while giving his head a smack.

"Luna?" A voice calls. "Luna? Natsu is that you?"

We run to a cell and Lucy comes running to the bars grinning from ear to ear.

"It is you! Wendy and Mirajane too, not to mention the exceeds!" She cries happily.

"SHHHHH!" Natsu yells at her pressing his hand over her mouth.

"Talk about pot calling the kettle black." I say crossing my arms over my chest.

Yukino looks at us happily, I notice the pure joy in her eyes. Guess being stuck in a cell because of your magic is difficult, I can only imagine how she feels. It was always my biggest fear that I would be locked up because of my magic, I mean my father is Acnologia and I'm a 3rd generation Dragon Slayer. Natsu places his hands on the bars and begins to heat them with his magic, then with a sharp pull they crumble to hot pieces of metal.

"Nice one, now lets get you both out of here." Mirajane says.

"Yeah, before the guards come." Wendy says.

"Wait, before we go anywhere we need to get our keys back. The guards took them away from us." Lucy says stepping out of the cell, Yukino then follows her out.

As the girls climb out of the cell I feel slight tremors in the floor, I glance at Wendy and Natsu and can tell that they are feeling the same things. The floor underneath us suddenly splits in half and drops open causing us all to fall to the ground, thinking on my feet I quickly summon my wings and grab onto whoever I can reach which happened to be Wendy and Yukino. I lower us down to the ground slowly while everyone else plummets to the ground, once on the ground I release the spell on my wings and release Wendy and Yukino from my grasp.

"You both ok?" I ask them.

"Yes, thanks to you Miss Luna." Yukino says owing slightly to me.

"No need for that Yukino, now where are we?" I ask glancing around.

Small skulls are dotted around the place along with what looks and smells slightly like dried blood on the walls, I seize my hair and tie it into a high pony tail because I can tell there will be some serious fighting.

"Thank you for falling directly into our trap." A voice sounds startling us all.

"Who's there?!" Natsu yells with his head slight with fire.

"This is the palace of Hades, also known as the city of the dead. As you can tell by the skeletons no one has ever made it out alive, this is the last taste of freedom for prisoners. I give you all permission to rot here, as your punishment!" A figure appears on the ceiling above us, a girl appears and she has soft green hair and dark green eyes, she has a small crown on her hair and looks at us with cold eyes.

"Who's that?" I ask.

"That's the princess of the palace." Yukino explains.

The image of the princess disappears and we're left in the dark, I glance up at where we fell in and notice it's completely sealed up.

"Now what are we supposed to do?" I ask throwing my arms out.

"Hey, can you guy's fly up there and see if you can find an exit?" Lucy asks the exceeds.

They all nod and begin to fly towards the ceiling, looking for any possible exit. I summon my own wings and begin to fly towards where we came in, I light my hand with my blue flames and press it against the doors. Just as I thought the flames on my hand instantly die out, I fly back down and my wings vanish.

"Just as I thought, the ceiling is covered with magic blocking lacrima's. So we won't be using the same doors as the ones we used to get in, any luck finding somewhere in the ceiling?" I ask as the exceeds fly back.

"Nope, not a single crack." Happy says sitting on Natsu's shoulder.

"I suppose they thought of everything." Lucy says looking around. "Also, Natsu who's taken your place in the games?"

"Oh, Juvia was recommended by the first. She chose the new team which is competing right now." Natsu explains as we begin to walk.

"Natsu wasn't going to fight with you down here Lucy, he told me last night." I say smiling at her.

"Nawh!" She says placing her hands on her cheeks. "He's gone soft since being with you Luna!"

I clutch my sides and laugh as Natsu blushes and looks away, he then punches a rock and tells us he's not soft. Which just makes us all laugh harder, even Carla and Twilight!

"And don't worry Yukino, the whole plan was to recue you both." I say smiling at her as Mirajane places both hands on her shoulders.

"Hey Luna, doesn't she remind you a little of Lisanna?" She asks me smiling.

"She does a little." I say smiling back.

"Who's that?" Yukino asks looking a little shy.

"She's Luna and I's sister." Mira explains while Yukino just looks a little sad.

Carla glances around and then fly's over to something, she comes back waving her paws around. "I think I found a passage over here!" She cries.

We walk over to where she found the passage and notice its a very snug passage, we send Wendy and the exceeds through first to see if it goes all the way through. Then with their OK we all begin to make our way through, Lucy, Mirajane, Yukino and I found it very difficult since we have some...well we just found it difficult.

"Hey! There's someone here!" Wendy calls.

Once we get out of the passage we run over to the body, I recognise it as the guy who lead us to the Eclipse Gate. He's covered in bruises and looks pretty worn out.

"Are you ok?" Natsu asks.

"Were you dropped in just like us?" Lucy questions.

"R..Run....." He says struggling to get the words out.

As everyone else focuses on Arcadios I keep my ears open, I was always taught to never let my guard down. And I'm glad I didn't, I quickly dive on top of everyone pinning them to the ground. Just as some acid comes from somewhere, I glance around and notice the deep burns from the acid where I was just standing. Attacks then begin to come from everywhere, the ground suddenly turns to liquid and then sends us flying, flowers begin to pop up from the ground and origami paper surrounds us. The flowers and paper then form two girls and Arcadios struggles to rise to his feet, I walk over and help to support him. He looks a little shocked but then focuses on the people who have suddenly appeared.

"They are an independent squad....that supports the nation from underground..." He says panting. "They are Fiore's greatest executioners...The Hungry Wolf Knights!" He leans heavily on me as he struggles to speak. "They are why people don't leave here."

I look at the hungry wolf knights and notice another emerging from the shadows, he is covered in metal almost like his entire body is a suit of armor. He glares at us and then speaks.
