Luna POV:

I sat on one of the bar stools in the Inn while Grey explained everything that happened, Master was shocked to hear that the imperial army had taken Lucy and Yukino. They were even more shocked to find out what we have to do to get them back, we need to win the Grand Magic Games.

"So we have to win the games if we want them back?" Laxus asked.

"I don't even know if we can even rely on that..." Grey said running a hand through his hair.

"We have to find them!" Natsu yelled with a vein popping out of his forehead.

We'd had to tie him down because we knew that when he woke up he's be all fired up to go and look for Lucy and get her back. Wendy was trying to calm him down with the exceeds help, Twilight came padding over to me and then flew onto my lap. She placed a paw onto my cheek and had sympathetic eyes, I opened my mind to her and showed her everything that happened to us while we were down there.

"Dont worry Luna, everything will work out ok?" Twilight said and then walked back over to where Natsu was.

Master placed a hand onto his chin and then spoke "We can't make an entire empire our enemy but, on the other hand they wouldn't just go hurting their citizens would they? Its possible they are just holding them hostage until they find a resolution to the Eclipse." 

"Still, something feels off... we found out a huge secret and they just let the rest of us walk free?" Gajeel pointed out.

"It doesn't make sense, like you said Gajeel. We found something that no one should know about, and yet we were aloud to go free." I said rising to my feet.

"Maybe they want us as a witness? Against that Arcadeus guy?" Pantherlilly said.

"They probably thought it was useless hiding it for much longer, and they would need to take all of us who saw it to keep it a secret." I suggested placing my hands onto my waist.

"True and with the people who saw it participating in the games, they would need a good reason as to why they weren't going to be in the final. Surely people would notice especially if a whole team practically disappeared." Mirajane said placing an arm around my shoulder.

"We all agree that Lucy being taken as a hostage doesn't sit well with any of us, but it doesn't go against the imperial army's code of justice." Erza said.

There was a sudden snapping noise and all eyes turned to Natsu, he'd managed to snap the ropes that were holding him and he was now ablaze with flames. 

"I can't take it anymore!" Natsu yelled. "I can't sit here listening to that crap anymore! I'M GOING!" Natsu yelled and began to walk towards the door. 

I ran towards him and wrapped my arms around his waist, his flames burned my hands but I couldn't let him leave. I bit down on my lip to try not to cry out in pain, but Natsu noticed. His flames quickly disappeared and he took my hands in his, sighing he tore my white top and began wrap my hands.

"Dont do that again ok? I could really hurt you Luna." Natsu said planting a soft kiss on both of my wrapped hands.

"Just be a little more careful ok? And calm down, we'll find Lucy I promise." I said giving him a soft smile. "We all feel the same Natsu, but we can't risk Lucy or Yukino getting hurt because we were reckless ok?" 

"We have to think carefully before making our move, we have quite a nasty opponent this time. But to stay silent and do nothing like cowards, is not the Fairy Tail way." Master said looking at us all. "For now everyone rest, we'll talk more about this in the morning." 

I made my way to our teams room, and it felt lonely without Lucy. My hands were stinging a little, but I was to drained to care. I picked up my pyjamas and walked into the bathroom, I pulled off the days clothes and then dressed in my pyjamas. I ran a hairbrush through my hair and then braided it down my back, there was more blue in it now and hints of silver. Once it was braided I tied it with a blue ribbon and exited the bathroom, Natsu was sitting on the balcony gazing out at the centre of crocus where the palace stood. I walked over to him but didn't say a word, Lucy told me that it was him who brought her to Fairy Tail. Natsu glanced at me and then smiled slightly, he shuffled across the ledge and pulled me into his warm embrace.

"I'm sorry about your hands Luna, did Wendy check them?" He asked me.

"Yeah, she gave them the once over and healed them a little. Should be much better by tomorrow, how are you doing though. I know Lucy meant a lot to you, and I know you took her getting taken hard." I said as he wrapped part of his scarf around my neck.

"Yeah, but Master's right. I can't risk her getting hurt, I mean she's one of my best friends." Natsu said and planted a soft kiss onto my forehead. "But your my number one." 

I smiled at him and we then walked into our room, I climbed into my bed and Natsu went and sat on his. He was looking at me as I pulled the sheets over my body, I lifted the sheets and smiled at him.

"Come on then, but no funny business or I'll have my brother come after you." I said giving him an evil face.

"Yes ma'am!" He said saluting me as he climbed under the sheets pulling me close into his body.

"Natsu..." a dark voice asked.

Gulp.

"Hey Erza....you have a nice shower?" I asked while Natsu was trying to hide under the sheets.

"What are you two doing?" She asked us.

"Going to sleep, nothing is going to happen Erza I promise you that." I said smiling at her.

She didn't look like she believed us but still went to her bed, Wendy was staying in Natsu's bed since he was here with me. And Grey was trying not to laugh his head off as he watched a red faced Natsu re appear from under my sheets, Erza gave Natsu a glare that could kill Zeref him self! Wendy then turned the lights off and soon everyone was breathing heavily, all except me and Natsu.

"Hey Natsu..." I whispered so as not to wake anyone else.

"Yeah? Whats wrong?" He asked brushing some hair away from my face.

"I feel like something bad is going to happen." I said gulping slightly.

"Really? Like what?" He asked leaning in a little closer.

"I don't know, but thats not what I wanted to ask you. I want to know something." I asked feeling a weight begin to lift from my shoulders. "If I did use the Dragon Force..." I started but Natsu cut me off.

"Dont ever use it Luna. Please.." He pleaded linking his hand with mine.

"IF, I said If Natsu. But if I did use it and turned into a dragon....would you still love me?" I asked lowering my head so my bangs covered my eyes.

"Luna..." Natsu said lifting my head so he could see me clearly. "I would love you no matter what, you're my life now."

"But what if I had to leave because I was a dragon...I couldn't stay in Magnolia." I said as he pressed his lips onto mine.

"I would travel the world to find you, like I said Luna. You're my life now, and I'm not letting you go anywhere. But this all wont happen because you're never going to use the dragon force, we're going to win the grand magic games and then celebrate as the number one guild. We'll have more jobs that the two of us can do together, and I suppose the team can come on some of them too. And once we'd finished the job we'd come back to Fairy Tail with smiles on our faces, and..." Natsu started but then thought for a moment.

"And what?" I asked smiling at Natsu.

"And then we'd go to our house, just the two of us. Well I suppose Happy and Twilight would be there too, but it would be our little home...Would you ever consider something like that?" Natsu asked me, looking deep into my blue eyes with his onyx ones.

I snaked my arms around Natsu's waist and pulled my self close to him, I always felt at peace when I was with him. He made everything that I went through in my past seem easy, he made me see light in my darkest times. Sometimes I felt like I didn't deserve him, like I wasn't good enough for someone as happy and carefree as him. But he's showed me countless times that he will always be there for me, even if I went away for something. I'd always have him to go back to.

"I'd love to move in with you Natsu, it's been fun living with Mirajane and the others but...they treat me like the little kid I once was. I know that I missed out on a childhood because of the fire but I've changed too, I'm not Luna Strauss anymore. I think that part of me died in the fire, I'm now Luna Nightwing the Apocalypse Dragon Slayer. And girlfriend to the Salamander of Fairy Tail." I said closing my eyes with my head on his chest.

He began to weave his fingers through my hair and soon enough we both fell asleep, intertwined in each others arms.
