Luna POV:

As we gazed up at the green dragon he looked down on us while licking his lips, he grins maliciously at us while placing a giant claw onto his chin.

"So who shall I eat first? girls taste much better than boys so lets see what we have here, the blonde has a lot of meat on her so she should fill a corner. The blue haired girl is too young for me, might want to wait a couple of years, now the white haired girl she's something rare." he says lowering his head to sniff me.

"Keep away from me." I said looking into the eyes of the green dragon.

"Oooh she has some fire in her!" The dragon bellowed laughing at me. "I am the Emerald Dragon Zirconis." 

The dragon then looked around sniffing the air, it seemed to be looking for something or someone. 

"Where is she? Only the sky dragon could perform this spell so where is she?" The dragon then looked at Wendy "Don't tell me this little girl is the Sky Dragon Slayer?! What a cutie!" 

"Keep away from Wendy!" Natsu shouted at him.

"What happened here? Why are there so many dragon bones down here?" I asked.

"I don't speak with Humans." Zirconis said turning his head away from us.

"What about us? We're cats!" Happy said lifting a paw.

"Ok then, it all started about 400 years ago..." Zirconis started while the rest of us sweat dropped. "Back then dragons were the kings of the world, freely soaring through the skies, across sea's and dominating lands. Everything in the world belonged to the Dragons."

Zirconis licked his lips as he spoke the next part, Natsu wrapped his arms around my shoulders pulling me close into his warm body. 

"Humans were mere fodder for us, snacks. There was one dragon however who believed we could coexist with the humans, it caused a war between the dragons. Those who believed that dragons and humans could live together and those who fought against it, I was one of those who fought alongside those who didn't want to coexist with the humans."

"So, if you were on the opposite side then?" Lucy asked.

"I don't like humans, but I do find they are very tasty." Zirconis said laughing.

"So right now you're talking with your food?" Natsu asked hiding his laughs in my hair.

"So what happened during the war then?" Twilight asked.

"The battle between the dragons was tearing apart the lands, scaring it. It was at this time that the dragons who wanted to coexist with the humans launched their plan, they began to teach humans the magic to slay dragons. And they they joined the battle." zirconis said sighing, he shook his head and then looked down at us.

"So this was Dragon Slayer Magic." I asked.

"Yes, the power of the dragon slayers made a significant change. The victory of the pro-human side would have been inevitable if they hadn't miscalculated something. The dragon slayers were given too much power, they also began to kill dragons who had taught them the magic. Amongst them there was one man who bathed in the blood of many dragons, just to mention his name could send fear through whole nations." When Zirconis said this I took a deep breath, even though I hoped that I was wrong. I knew I most likely wasn't wrong.

"That 'Man' slayed many dragons and continued to bathe in their blood, soon enough his skin became scales and his teeth became fangs. And then his form became that of a dragon." Zirconis said.

"A human became a dragon?!" Grey yelled.

I pulled Natsu's arms tighter around my body as I felt tears began to fill my eyes, I could feel Natsu give my body a reassuring squeeze as we looked at the dragon spirit.

"This is something that happens as you go further down the path of dragon slayer magic, and all the dragons here were the ones who were killed by that 'man'. This was gave birth to the king of the dragons, hence the Dragon King Festival. The King's name was Acnologia, whilst being a dragon it also bears the wings of darkness." Zirconis said and then his eyes focused on me.

Tears began to fall down my cheeks as I listened to what Zirconis had to say, it was like he was telling me what my father was really like. But I never saw this side of him, he was a kind caring father who raised me. He taught me magic and was the only family I had when I thought I lost Mirajane and the others, and now this dragon is telling me that he slaughtered all these dragons. I let the tears fall down my cheeks but I didn't say a word, I didn't want them to see me cry....

"That dragon!" Lucy said.

"Was once human!" Grey yelled.

"Impossible!" Gajeel shouted.

"He killed all these dragons here, and with that. I leave you." Zirconis said and then vanished into green smoke.

Wendy began to pant slightly from over using her magic, she turned to face us and sighed.

"His spirit is gone, sorry I couldn't keep it going for much longer." She said wiping some sweat from her forehead.

"So what he was saying is that if we use too much dragon slayer magic we turn into Dragons?!" Natsu yelled looking at Gajeel and Wendy.

"This isn't good..." Gajeel said running a hand through his black hair.

"I dont wanna be a dragon!" Wendy cried out with tears filling her eyes.

I walked away from Natsu's arms and then looked at all the different bones, there was at least five different dragons that I could see here. And who knows how big this dragon graveyard is, I turned around and looked at Natsu. I ran into his arms and sobbed, he pulled me tight into his body stroking my hair.

"So my research was correct with history then." A deep male voice said. "I wonder, do you know about the demons from the book of Zeref? Acnologia is something close to that, one can even speculate that Zeref made a dragon slayer into Acnologia. In other words, getting rid of Zeref the rot of all this. Is the first step to defeating Acnologia."

"Who are you?" I asked looking at the man.

"Defeating Zeref?" Natsu said holding me a little closer.

Lucy looked at the man and then also noticed a white haired woman who was standing next to him. "Yukino!" Lucy cried looking at the woman, so this is who suggested that Lucy take her keys. 

I looked up at Natsu and gulped, he pulled me tight into his arms as the man began to speak again.

"I am leader of the Holy Ouka Knights from the Fiore army stationed in Crocus." He said smiling at us all.

"Temporary sergent Yukino Agria of the same group." Yukon said standing next to the man who hat yet to tell us his name.

"Let me explain, a certain battle plan is underway and we require the power of a celestial mage. And thats how Yukino's power comes in." He says.

"Celestial Mages?" I ask wiping my eyes.

"Hold it, I don't understand a word your saying!" Natsu yelled.

"Natsu Dragneel right? A fantastic magic battle you showed us today, and you Luna. Your magic was extraordinary, both magics complimented each other in a brilliant way." He said looking at the two of us.

Natsu let go of me and marched over to the man, Natsu put his face close to the man's face and was practically pressing his forehead to the mans.

"Listen here, I couldn't care less about that! I wanna know what your plan for the Celestial Mages is!" Natsu yelled at him.

"Natsu calm down, let him explain a little more." I said placing my hand on his arm.

"Follow me." The man said walking away from us.

Natsu opened his mouth and then looked at me, he pointed at the man who was walking away from us and I could tell he was close to bursting into flames at any moment. Natsu and I began to follow the man as he walked away from us, Yukino was speaking to Lucy but because we were walking quickly to keep up with the man I didn't hear what she was saying. He lead us into this large open room which was bigger than any room I've been in!

"This place is huge!" I cried out looking around the room.

He began to lead us down these stairs which felt like they were taking us deep within the earth.

"The grand magic games are just a camouflage for us to collect magic power from the different mages in Fiore, we've been collecting the magic for the past couple of years." He said as we continued to walk.

"Thats a dirty trick, stealing magic from all the wizards who compete." Gajeel said.

"It doesn't matter what you think or believe, it's all been for this plan. The opening of the gates that will change the world....eclipse. To create this is requires a large amount of magic energy, when the sun and moon interject. Twelve keys will be used to open the gate." He said as we reached a huge gate.

It was enormous, it had what looked like a clock face on it which I'm assuming is what they need the twelve keys for. 

"When they open we'll travel 400 years in time. We'll eliminate Zeref before he became immortal, that, is the eclipse plan." The man said pointing to the gate. "Yukon tells me that time is different in the Celestial Spirit world, so we will use that along with the spirit keys to assist in the time travel. It will take place three days from now." 

"July 7th..." Natsu said and his eyes went wide.

"The day our dragons disappeared!" Wendy shouted.

"Wait they all disappeared on the same day?" I asked looking at the other slayers.

"Yeah, July 7th in the year X777." Gajeel said crossing his arms over his chest.

"Halt! Dont move!" Someone yelled at us.

People came sprinting towards us and they are all dressed in army clothes, oh crap! Its the army! What the hell are they doing here?!

"Whats going on now!" Natsu said looking at the army as they surrounded us.

I looked at the gate and I could almost feel like it was pulling me in, like it needed my magic energy. Then I remember what dad said in my dream, they need my magic and the celestial spirit magic to defeat some big trouble. But I don't know what trouble is coming, so its hard for me to figure out what dad was trying to tell me.

"Arrest Lucy Heartfilia and Yukino Agria! Dispose of the others but keep the two Celestial Wizards away from the Eclipse gate!" A short man yelled.

Natsu ignited his fist on fire and began to run towards the men as they grabbed Lucy and Yukino.

"Wait! Dont use your magic near the Eclipse Gate!" Aracadeus yelled at Natsu.

"Natsu!" I yelled as I watched all his magic energy be sucked from his body.

"Foolish boy, when using magic power this close to the eclipse gate it results in all the magic power being sucked from the person who used the magic." The short man said as Natsu fell to the ground.

I rushed over to Natsu and pulled his head into my lap, I could feel a small amount of magic energy inside him but it was weak. He would need a long time to recover the amount of magic energy he lost. We watched helplessly as the army took away Lucy and Yukino, we needed to get them back ASAP. 

"Let's take Natsu back to the inn, we'll tell master everything and see what he says." Grey said walking over to me.

"Ok I'll carry Natsu." I said getting to my feet, I pulled Natsu up so I could tuck his arm over my neck. Straightening my knees I began to walk back the way we came.

"Here let me help Luna." Grey said coming to take Natsu from me.

"No Grey, I need this right now. It gives me something to focus on, please don't take Natsu fro  me." I said turing to face him with tears filling my eyes.

He nodded and we all made our way back to the honeybone inn, all I can hope is that 1) Natsu recovers quickly and 2) We figure out a way to get the two girls back. We'll just have to think quickly, before the army does anything to them.
