Luna POV:

It was now the fourth day of the Grand Magic Games, I'd missed the third day because of what happened with my arm. But we managed to gain a huge amount of points thanks to Wendy, Erza, Cana and Laxus. I'm disappointed I didn't get to see the biggest battle of the day which was against Laxus and the whole of the Raven Tail guild, but everyone made sure that I had all the information about what happened. The first game today is called Navel Battle, and I really want to compete but I can't because Wendy is on our team now. I don't mind though it means I can sit and watch the games with the rest of the guild, because I'm not a team member anymore so I have to sit with the others. But its not too bad, Asuka comes and sits with me and plays with my hair. She likes it because of the blue and white, and the best part is she isn't scared of my scaled hand. I sit back with her on my lap and watch the games unfold, from our teams we have Lucy and Juvia which should go well in our favour because Lucy has Aquarius and Juvia is basically made from water.

"Come on girls!" I cheer.

The other contestants are:

Risley Law- Mermaid Heel

Jenny Realight- Blue Pegasus

Sherria Blendy- Lamia Scale

Rocker- Quatro Cerberus

Minerva- Sabertooth

The one who is scaring me is Minerva, she looks like a mean piece of work. The judges explain the rules of the game and then it begins, right off the bat Lucy pulls out Aquarius and she then sends a huge current of water at the competitors but Juvia sends her water cyclone at them causing the other girls and Rocker to fight against each other. Jenny sends a kick at Rocker sending him flying out of the sphere of water onto his face, I can't help but laugh.

"Sorry this game is only for bikini girls!" Jenny yells and then continues to fight.

"That man is silly!" Asuka says from my lap.

I nod and then continue to watch the game, Aquarius has now disappeared saying she has a date with Scorpio. This then causes Lucy to loose one of her most powerful spirits, so she then calls Virgo and Aries who help her keep an upper hand. Juvia then sends a powerful attack which knocks Sherria, Risley and Jenny out of the sphere, so now the only ones left are Lucy, Juvia and Minerva. While Juvia then stares at Grey she's knocked out of the sphere leaving just Lucy and Minerva as the last two standing, or should I say swimming? Minerva then tells Lucy that she needs to give up, but Lucy refuses and starts cracking some jokes to get a reaction from Minerva. Bad mistake. Minerva then sends powerful attacks at Lucy causing her huge damage, I'm on the edge of my seat as I watch this battle. She's not giving Lucy any relief and has even taken her keys from her! Lucy's now left defenceless and is taking attacks left right and centre.

"Stop the match!" People begin to yell.

"Please stop!" I yell with them.

The match is then called off and Lucy's limp body is held outside of the sphere by Minerva, I pick up Asuka from my lap and send her to her mother Bisca. Then as Lucy's falling I unleash my wings and fly forward just in time to catch her, I land on the ground as medics come from everywhere along with Wendy and Sherria who give Lucy emergency treatment. I place her on the ground so they can help her and try to contain my anger while I look at Minerva and her team.

"What joy do you get from hurting people?!" I yell at her.

"She thought she was better than me. And how can I feel joy hurting people? Funny coming from the spawn of the deadliest creature alive." She says taunting me. "Acnologia is as dark as they come, you have no right telling me that I enjoy hurting people." 

My magic power begins to get stronger and stronger with my anger, I then feel Natsu place a hand on my shoulder calming me slightly.

"Don't worry Luna, we'll get them back for Lucy." He snarls at them as he pulls me back from them.

We exit the stadium and walk to the infirmary to check on Lucy, Natsu wraps his arm around me as we walk and this simple gesture calms me down enough so I don't want to rip the head off that saber member Minerva. When we walk in Lucy is covered in bandages and has Porlyusica giving her treatment along with Wendy, I walk in and take a seat next to Lucy's bed.

"Will she be ok?" I ask just as the other team walks in.

"Any news on Lucy?" Cana asks.

"She'll be ok thanks to Wendy, but she's not out of the woods yet." Porlyusica says as she mixes some herbs.

Lucy then begins to wake up slowly opening her soft brown eyes, she looks at us all and then tears fill her eyes. She apologises saying how she's a failure because she didn't get first place, I hold her hand in mine and Happy gives Lucy her keys back which she holds close to her heart. The door then opens to reveal master Makarov.

"What a terrible turn of events, not only this but we have been asked to change from two teams into one." Master says.

"What about our points?" Natsu asks.

"We will only be aloud to keep the lowest score which is team A, the people I have chosen for the new team are...."

Narrator POV:

The stadium waits in anticipation for the battle part of the GMG's. 

"The first round of battles will be!" The announcer yells. 

"Blue Pegasus VS Quatro Puppy!" 

"Mermaid Heel VS Lamia Scale!" 

"And finally the match you've all been waiting for! Sabertooth against the New Fairy Tail team! So put your hands together to welcome the new Fairy Tail Team!" 

The stadium erupts into cheers and cries of excitement, as the new Fairy Tail team walks in. The team members are...

"Natsu Dragneel

Erza Scarlet

Gajeel Redfox

Laxus Dreyar

and Luna Nightwing!" The announcer yells and the amount of magic energy you can feel from these five people is incredible. Almost like they are the true heart of Fairy Tail. And thats why Master Mavis and Master Makarov chose them, for these people embody the true essence of what Fairy Tail means, and that is.
