Luna POV:

As I'm sitting at the bar with Mirajane and Kinana, things are starting to get back to normal. There was an incident with the infinity clock and it caused time to go all loopy, but now we're finally back into the swing of things. Guild life is getting easier for me too, Natsu has been helping me a lot with getting used to how jobs work and he's also come with me on a couple of them. I sip my cold water and look over to Twilight, SHE's been getting very friendly with a certain black cat.

"Hey Luna! Come here!" Natsu yells to me.

"Coming!"

I run over to him and he places his hand on my head.

"We're going training at the beach, wanna come? Its to get ready for the grand magic games." He says ruffling my hair.

I swat his hand off my head but smile.

"Sure I'll come, I've never been to the beach anyway." I say thinking about the hot sand and cold sea, I've only read about it in books.

"Never been to the beach?!" Erza yells at me.

"Well no, its hard to go to a beach when one your father is a dragon, and two you live no where near one. I spent all of my life living in the forest with very little human interaction." I say shyly.

"Well first we need to buy you some beach clothes!" Lucy says wrapping an arm around me.

"I have a little money saved from my jobs, and I've already paid this month's rent. So, Lets go girls!" I yell happily and all us girls run out of the guild to the shops in town.

We spend our time looking around in the expensive shops looking for just the right look, but these styles aren't really me. So I tell the other girls that I'll be looking in some of the other shops and end up in a charity shop, there are lots of strange clothes in this shop so I take a look around. I find a short white dress that flows while I walk, I also pick up a nude cardigan to go with the dress. I then pick up denim shorts and a white tank top that shows off my stomach, to go with this I pick up a hairband and some sunglasses, and cream sandals. So I pay for my things and then walk back to the girls.

"Hey everyone, I bought some clothes so I'm all ready for the beach." I say holding my bag of clothes.

"Hey Luna, did you get a swim suit?" Lucy asks me looking inside the bag.

"No....that I forgot." I say scratching my head.

"Lucky for you, I picked up two." Lucy said passing me a small bag.

"Thanks Lucy!" I yell hugging her.

We walk back to the guild and find all the people who are coming with us ready to go, so with all our bags packed we're off to the beach! We all walk to the train station exited about all the things that we're going to do while were there, Mirajane said she might teach me some new magic because her, Elfman and Lisanna all use take-over magic. But they are going to train in the mountain with Cana so she'll teach me when she comes back. We sit on the train and Natsu and I have a drinking contest to see who can drink the motion sickness drink quickest.

"I win!" I yell triumphantly.

"Only because you started first...." Natsu says like a kid.

"Don't be such a baby Natsu, just think I could not make you anymore of my potion." I say folding my arms.

"Please have mercy on me great one!" He says falling to his knees.

I just sit there laughing at him, Twilight then passes me a book on the rules for the games.

"Read child, you need to learn about these games in case you get chosen."

"Fine.." I say in a huff and start reading.

As I look over the rules of the games some of them don't make sense, like why do we all have to be back at the hotel we're staying in by midnight?

"Lets go everyone! This is our stop!" Erza yells like a General.

"Aye!" We all yell.

We go to our rooms at the resort and change into our swim suits, the one Lucy gave me fits me perfectly. Its a simple pale blue bikini that has frills all along the top and a small skirt on the bottoms made from the frills, I put on a white cardigan to wear down to the beach and grab a bag with a towel, sun cream and my sunglasses inside it. So with all my stuff ready I make my way down to the beach, we said we would meet there so everyone is already there waiting.

"Wow you look so cute!" Wendy says smiling at me.

"Yeah she's right! I knew that bikini would look awesome on you!" Lucy says.

I look over and see a slight hint of pink on Natsu's cheeks but it quickly disappears when I look over at him.

"Well lets go! I want to try swimming!" I yell and pull off my cardigan and let my hair fall down my back.

I slip my sandals off my feet and step onto the hot sand, digging my toes into the sand I feel a sense of peace. I take a deep breath and then run to the water, I stop before the sea's edge and watch as everyone else runs into the water. They splash around and seem to be having an amazing time, so I place my feet into the water. The cool water flows around my ankles and the sand squelches under my feet.

"You coming further in Luna?!" Natsu yells while he splashes Grey.

"Yeah just one problem!"

"What's that?!" He yells again walking over to me.

"I don't know how to swim!" I yell laughing.

"Don't know how to swim? But you know how to hunt?" He says pulling me further in.

"Well I never needed to know how."

"Right lie on your back." He says placing a hand on my back.

I nod and then lower my self into the water until I'm lying on my back, I can feel Natsu's hand there so I know that he wont let me go under.

"Now I'm going to move my hand. Trust me ok?" He says while staring into my eyes.

"I trust you...just don't let me drown." I say smiling and I then feel his hand move from my back.

"See now your floating! All you have to do now is move your arms and legs and you'll be swimming!" Natsu says and helps me to stand up.

"Thanks, now for this!" I yell and push him into the water.

"Oh I'll get you for that!" He yells and chases me along the beach.
