Luna POV:

We all climb off the boat onto the docks of Hargeon, with Twilight in my arms my heart pounds in my chest, next stop is the Fairy Tail guild where I will become a member. But only if the guild will have me.

"Luna, this way! We'll get a magic mobile to the guild hall." Mirajane says waving to me.

"Ok sis!" I yell and run over to them, much to the disgust of Twilight.

I sit down next to Lisanna and place Twilight next to Mirajane, Elfman takes the strange plug and wraps it around his wrist. Suddenly the vehicle bursts into life and we begin the drive to the guild, there is a caravan of vehicles driving down the streets of Hargeon, but then I see the sign.

"Welcome to Magnolia!"

As I look out of the window a wave of nausea washes over me and I have to sit back and close my eyes to stop my self being sick, I feel Twilight place a small bottle into my hand and then she moves my hand to my mouth to help me drink the liquid. The potion slips down my throat and the sick feeling vanishes almost like it wasn't there in the first place.

"What's that?" Lisanna asks as I open my eyes.

"Its a potion I've perfected, the recipe is based off something that I saw in a potions book long ago. I've adapted the potion so that it will work on me because the original one wouldn't, it helps with motion sickness I took some before we went onto the boat. How many more bottles do we have Twilight?" I ask looking at her small bag.

"That was the last one I'm afraid, you'll have to make more once we reach Fairy Tail. Do you have your spell book with you?"

"Yes I have it right here." I say pulling the book from my bag.

The book is a rich brown leather and has twine woven around the leather edges, and in gold are the words 'Spell Book'.

"This book is beautiful, what sort of spells are inside?" Mirajane asks.

"All different kinds, there are potions and spells that dad taught me. In the beginning of the book I talk about the Dragon Slayer spells and how to master them. After that I write about Twilight and the potions I use and the ingredients to make them." I say as I open the book to the page on Motion sickness potions.

"Incredible." Lisanna says.

I look over the ingredients in the book and think of the places where I would collect them before, and wonder how far away we are from there. Twilight looks at me and sighs, she's always been like this. She has a power that enables her to see into a person to know what they are thinking and also a glimpse of their future. We keep bumping along on a dusty old road and then come to a stop, I pick up Twilight and hold her in my arms and then step out of the vehicle everyone walks excitedly to the wooden doors where as I stay to the back of the croud.

"Your blocking your thoughts Luna, tell me what your thinking." Twilight says flying from my arms and into my face.

"The other guild members will hate me." I say and lower my head.

"What makes you think that? Didn't Natsu tell you that people will accept you."

"Yes but..." I start and she places a paw onto my lips.

"What did I tell you about saying but." She says frowning.

"Not to say it because there is always a way." I say and run a hand through my hair. "Lets do this then."

I walk towards the door and take a quick look inside, everyone is laughing and crying. I can feel the magic energy in this place by everyone's emotions, and not only that the whole place looks welcoming if a little run down. No one has noticed me yet and I'm grateful for that it gives me chance to take a good look around before I step inside.

"Who's the kid?" A woman with short purple hair asks pointing to me.

I quickly hide behind the door as Natsu walks over to me, my heart is pounding in my chest and its hard to breathe.

"Hey Luna you coming in?" He asks me.

"I cant Natsu! Everyone will hate me, people always do." I say and start to walk back down the path. "People always think I'll be as bad as my father, but people don't know the things that have happened to me because of Zeref.." I say and place a hand on my wrists, tears fill my eyes and I try to fight them and try not to let them fall down my cheeks.

"What did he do to you Luna?" Natsu asks placing a hand onto my shoulder.

"Every year he would come and test my magic's strength, he would attach wires to my head, wrist and ankles and then plug me into a giant Lacrima. He would then suck my magic out of me while I would try and resist, he would keep doing it until I lost consciousness and once I woke up he would begin again." I say shaking as the tears fall down my cheeks.

"How long has he done that to you?" Natsu asks with a firmness in his voice.

"He has done it ever since I went to live with dad, so about eleven years ago it would happen on the same day every year. The torture would last all day and once he was done I would just lie in bed with sweat dripping from my body....and different cuts and wounds all over me." I say as Natsu wraps his arms around my body.

I stand there and try to stop my tears, Natsu notices that I keep wiping them and does it for me. We stand there staring at each other and then my tears stop, I cant explain this feeling inside of me but when I'm with Natsu I feel safe.

"Lets go inside, everyone wants to meet you." He takes my hand and gives my face another wipe down, we then walk inside where Twilight is already sitting down with the other Exceeds.

"Luna! There you are, everything ok sweetie?" Mirajane says rushing over to me, Natsu pats my head and then walks off to speak to a boy about Wendy's age who can clearly use flame magic.

"Yeah everything's fine, just some bad memories coming back to me." I say sighing.

"Well everyone this is Luna Nightwing. Lets make her feel welcome!" The short old man yells smiling at me.

"Thank you sir." I say smiling at him.

"Would you like to join Fairy Tail?" He asks me as Mira picks up a stamp.

"You want someone like me in the guild?" I ask in awe.

"Yes child."

"Then I want the guild to vote, I would love to join but I want to know how the rest of the guild would feel if I were to join." I say looking at him.

"Are you sure child?" The man says to me.

"Yes its what I want." I say and wrap my arms around my body as if to brace my self for what's to come.

He nods and then jumps up onto a bar holding a frothy mug in his hand, he clears his voice and the whole place goes deathly silent.

"My children there is a young girl here who wants to join our guild, she has a bad history with strangers so would like to know what you think about her joining. Luna step forward." He says and I do so.

"Luna Nightwing is the long lost sister of the Strauss family." He pauses and the gasps and whispers from the other guild members are very loud. "She is also a dragon slayer like Natsu, Gajeel and Wendy. She was raised by the apocalypse dragon, Acnologia." As he says my father's name the members who weren't on Tenrou Island start yelling at me.

"She's the reason you were there for seven years!"

"How can we trust her!"

"Don't let her join!"

"Get out of here demon!"

I stand there listening to the harsh words of the guild members and feel my chest hurt, almost like I've been betrayed by people who don't know me. But its what I expected, its all anyone has ever shown me. Hatred. Anger. Fear.

"Then I'll leave." I say as the Tenrou Island people shout in my defence.

"No Luna you cant leave! We just found you!" Mirajane says with tears falling from her eyes.

"Don't worry Mira, I'll be fine. I'll go back to the Crystal Cave where I grew up and set up a home for my self there." I say and walk over to Twilight. "You can stay here if you want, I can tell that the Exceeds love you and you should be with your own kind, just promise me that you wont forget me Twilight." I say with my voice cracking.

"I'm coming with you Luna! You cannot stop me!" Twilight says flying into my chest.

"You'll be fine here, they will all look out for you and make sure that you're safe. I cant do that..." I place a sleep spell over her and then pass her to Lisanna. "Keep her safe for me." I say.

With one last glimpse at everyone I sprint out of the guild before anyone can stop me.
