22 - Wedding Bouquet
I really do have a cuddle monster as a boyfriend. This morning I woke up at the sound of the 7 am alarm I had set, only to find myself still wrapped in his arms. He held me so tight that I couldn't move—not that I wanted to. The sound of his breathing was surprisingly calming for me. The birds that chirped outside were indicative of the clear skies. I was amazed at how the weather can suddenly change.
The wedding was at 10 am sharp. We still had to get ready and meet Tae's mom at the alter by 9:30 am. She wanted to brief me on what I need to do and where to stand. Gently, I shook him by his shoulder to wake him up since he chose you to ignore the sound of the alarm.
"A little longer." He moaned out with furrowed eyebrows. He tightened his grip on me and I giggle at the cuteness of his actions.
"Come on. We need to go." I cooed, softly tapping him to wake up.
To my surprise, he had fully woken up and turned us around. I was now laying flat on my back whilst he hovered over me with the covers draped on his back, sheathing the two of us.
"Good morning." He whispered to me in a soft register and placed a kiss on my lips.
He began peppering kisses all over my face, starting from my forehead and slowly moving down to my cheeks. I giggled at the ticklish sensation of his kisses.
He reached my lips once again, but this time, the kiss was filled with more than just a greeting. He began to suck on my bottom lip and eventually his tongue grazed over it. Before I could open my mouth, his kiss moved to my jaw as he gently and seductively sucked on my skin.
His hand moved to my waist and had a firm grip on it while he continued to please wet kisses on my jaw, moving down to my neck. The sensation was overwhelming and we were both too caught up in the moment. Suddenly, my mouth opened and let out a hitched moan.
When we both registered the moan, he stopped his kisses and looked up at me, seeing the deep red blush on my face because of the moan I so embarrassingly let out. When he noticed my reddened face, he realised what this situation had escalated to. He stood up and covered me with the blanket that was just around us both.
"I-I'm sorry! I don't know what came over me." He said as he avoided my gaze and my blush intensified.
"Likewise..." an embarrassed spoke as I pulled up the covers to just under my chin.
With both of us flustered and having been carried away by the moment, he got his towel and went straight into the bathroom. His baggy pants weren't enough to hide the bugle that formed, so I didn't protest since it was partly my fault.
After having both showered and put on our outfits for the wedding, all we had to do was hair and make-up. As much as I disliked it, I needed to have some make-up on since this was a serious function. I don't even know the bride and groom so I don't want to ruin their pictures.
Taehyung offered to do that for me. His mom left us with her make-up kit and hair accessories. He started gently, applying the liquid foundation with a sponge applicator. Then, moving onto my eyes with black eyeliner forming a point at the end and grey eye shadow. He brushed my eyebrows and used something that I don't even know the name of to neaten it up a bit. He applied the mascara gently and moved down to my cheeks to contour them with a slightly darker shade.
When he got to my lips, I couldn't help but notice him staring at them. I had been scrutinising his lips and watched as he licked them. Slowly, he applied the colour-stay lipstick onto my lips and finished with a burgundy lip liner. His skills were amazing.
He moved on and started to do my hair, gently running his fingers through my dark locks and braiding certain sections of it, only to hold it up with shiny, silver accessories and bobby pins. It was gorgeous. I looked in the mirror and gazed at the intricately laced ribbon entangled in my hair.
We stared at each other in that same mirror in front of me, scrutinising each other's expressions. I then looked at myself, how gorgeous he made me look. I was mesmerised by the beauty.
"I would kiss you right now, but I would mess up your make-up." He said, chuckling at his own words. I looked at the time on my phone and noticed that it was already 9:20.
"Ah, we're gonna be late." I yelped, standing up from the chair and breaking our gases on each other to fetch my purse. When he stepped aside to get his belonging, I stopped for a second, staring at him blankly.
"Taehyung..." he hummed in my direction while putting on his watch. "Thank you." With a smile that gave me butterflies, he gave me an acknowledging nod.
(Just your outfits to put it into perspective a bit.)
The alter was absolutely gorgeous. All of the guests were dressed so extravagantly and cam in the most luscious cars. There was a long, red, velvet carpet than ran down the aisle. Even though the venue was ravishing, I caught Taehyung staring at me a couple of times.
"Taehyungie! Y/n! Over here." Taehyung's mom called us over to the front of the alter. "You both look stunning!"
"And you Mrs Kim!" She tried you shrug it off but this woman was definitely gorgeous. She wore a silk grey dress that hugged her curves beautifully. Around her shoulders was a white shawl that had light frills at the end that just broke up the colours.
"Ok, Y/n, sweetheart. This is your spot." She said, and Taehyung and I smiled at her enthusiasm.
"Ok, so what do I need to do?" I asked.
"When the bride comes, all you need to do is hold her flowers and when everything is over, link hands with the best man and walk down the aisle—."
"Not happening," Taehyung interjected. We both looked at him with shock in our eyes. I hadn't even processed what was wrong.
"Taehyungie? What's wrong?" His mom has questioned.
"She is not walking down that aisle with anyone before she does with me." He said firmly.
I started to blush at his statement when I realised what he meant by walking down the aisle. His mom's expression grew into something that looked like a smirk.
"Now I see why they call you 'lover boy', son" both his mom and I were laughing at the lover of mine standing his ground. "Ok, is it fine if she just walks next to him? No touching?"
"That's ok, I guess." He gave us his signature pout when he agreed to this.
His mother left us to be since the wedding was to begin in a few minutes. She seated all of the guests and got everyone into their positions. The groom was dressed so handsomely in his silver and black tuxedo, waiting for his bride to arrive. There she was, walking down the aisle with her father in arms.
This makes me think what my wedding day would be like. Who would walk me down the aisle? And as for guests? There's nobody that I wanted to invite from my family. What if Taehyung and I don't even make it to marriage. I wonder what he'd look like in a tuxedo. I'd be wearing a wedding gown and the alter would be ours.
When the bride approached us at the front, I sweetly smiled at her and held onto the bouquet of flowers that she had. When I leaned back again, I noticed the best man staring at me. I met his gaze and he smirked at me. He was good looking but not as god-like as Taehyung. My eyes immediately went to the crowd and searched for my lovely boyfriend, who's eyes were already on me and me only.
After the exchange of vows and they each had their wedding bands on their fingers, the ceremony was over and we began walking down the aisle once again. Flower petals were being thrown in the air and the best man by my side kept looking down at me and smiling.
"Hey, I'm Jackson." He spoke out. His voice was harmonious and absolutely gorgeous.
"Y/n. Nice to meet you." I said only to be polite.
"Would you like to get out of here after this?" He asked with a smirk.
"I don't think that's a good idea but thank you for the offer, Jackson."
"Awe, babe. I could show you a good time." This one is persistent.
I ignored his words and continued walking until we had gotten to the end of the aisle. They called up all of the single women and before I could even process what was happening, Tae's mom pulled me over to the group of girls standing at the bottom of the steps.
The next thing I knew, the bouquet of flowers that I was in possession of just moments ago was in the air. Flying to my direction while all of the girls around me were pushing and nudging each other to be in the path of the free-falling projectile.
As fate would have it, the flowers fell right into my cupped hands. This turn of events earned a cheer from the crowd and a deep sigh of disappointment from the girls around me.
"Pretty. It matched your hair too." It was from Jackson again.
I just met him and he's already infatuated by me. He stepped closer to me and reached up to touch my hair but I stepped back when I saw him elevate his arm.
"Your hair is pretty." He said with light laughter.
"Thanks. I did it for her." Taehyung spoke from behind me. Suddenly, he held me from behind and pulled me closer to his body by grabbing hold of my waist. "You were beautiful up there, my love." He whispered to me, loud enough for Jackson to hear.
Without so much as a warning, he tilted my head to the side for me to look at him holding me from behind. He placed his lips on mine in this sideward motion. When he broke the kiss, he glared at Jackson with his fiery eyes and held onto me tighter.
"If you'd excuse us, we have plans." He spoke as he interlaced our fingers and walked towards the car parked on the pavement.
"What was that?" I asked while he was practically dragging me to he car, "Everyone saw us."
"Now they know that you're mine."
