ACE24 [ Hangul: 에이스 투웬티 퍼 ] is a reality co-ed group survival show held by Ikigai Entertainment's CEO, Nakano Ren. It is a medium-scaled project [ having only recently been announced at all for existing ] in which the public create a co-ed group [ or, how the website puts it, "creates a deck of your best cards" ] by choosing from a roster of 24 trainees trainees from various participanting companies. The trainees that have made it into the top four [ top two in each category ] will be contracted under Ikigai Entertainment for 9 months, with a possibility of a contract renewal.

▼ CONCEPT

ACE24's concept relies on a 'card deck', since the survival show is basically like gambling a trainee's chances of debuting. As seen on the promotional poster seen from above, the statement reads 'Choose your best cards.' meaning [ a. ] the trainees have to choose the best options and the best talents they can show as the series progresses, and [ b. ] the public have to choose the best trainees [ or in this case, 'the best cards' ] to debut.

ACE24, according to the main director, Ikigai Ent.'s CEO Nakano Ren, will have arduous tasks for the trainees, especially for those who are obviously failing to catch the public's attention, but Nakano promises that each ACE24 episode will stay as uncut as possible, to show each side of each trainee equally so they remain unbiased. ACE24's ranking is quite a unique system, since trainees are placed in four equal groups, containing three boys and three girls, and named after the signs of playing cards [ Diamond, Heart, Spade, Club ] and each member will be called by their designated group's name [ e.g. a person from the 'Spade' group will be called 'Spade #1 / Spade King' or dependent on their ranking ].

Ultimately, either one boy or one girl from each group will be ranked '#1', however, only two boys and two girls will be able to debut, which means that even if four girls or four boys are all #1, the top two from the girl's category and the top two from the boy's category will be chosen to debut.

Each grouping has a concept, as designated by their representative's personalities and concepts, the representatives being the main judges of the show.

Diamond group logo

For Diamond, the representative of the group is no other than Nakano Ren himself, and the concept of the group is 'Shine more lustrously than diamonds, to rise above them all.'

The chosen 'spirit animal' is a ram because, while rams can be seen as harmless, their horns mean danger and generally, so do they.

Heart group logo

For Heart, the representative of the group is dance group D.O.B's leader, Park Jin, and the concept of the group is 'Be the one to support another, yet be sharp.'

Their chosen 'spirit animal' is a snake because, just like their concept, they are supposed to be almost snake-like; supporting each other, yet striving to be the one on top.

Spade group logo

For Spade, their representative is Nakano Ren's friend and fellow famous designer, Be Yukiba, and their concept is 'Do not rush, rather wait and see to be able to be the best.'

Their chosen 'spirit animal' is the eagle because an eagle is a patient predator, waiting for it's prey to do something before it makes it's move.

Club group logo

For Club, their representative is no other than Cube Ent. idol, Hyuna, and their concept is 'Elegance and grace in every challenge you face.'

Their chosen 'spirit animal' is the peacock because peacocks are usually related to elegance due to the bird's beautiful feathers.
