So I was watching Nightmare on Elm Street, as one does.  And a few minutes in, I get motivation to do art that fits the theme.  It took me probably two-ish hours to do this first one, as in it took me basically that whole movie plus about thirty minutes of the second movie I watched to do this:

Genderbent Freddy Kruger!  I think I'll call her Freddie.

I wanted to give her some hair so I decided to do a semi Phantom of the Opera-style thing where she only has hair on half of her head and the scalp was too damaged on the other side.  I really enjoyed designing her and am really proud of how the end result turned out.  It was also a chance for me to experiment with Procreate some more, so there's a bit of texture to her clothes!

And since the second movie I watched was Psycho...

TW: MILD BLOOD WARNING

Genderbent Norman Bates!  Her name is Nora.

The hardest part was definitely the position- I went through two or three poses before settling for this one.

And then the second hardest part was that the movie is in BLACK AND WHITE.  So coming up with a color palette sucked ;0;

I do want to add that I just used the first outfit he appears in, and then kind of threw the knife and blood in.  Besides, I think this makes more sense if it's genderbent, because technically it would be her father instead of mother.  Therefore...

*SPOILER ALERT FOR PSYCHO*

She would dress up as her father instead of her mother.  So coat like that and a fedora or something.

I do plan on doing more of these, if you guys have any slasher killer suggestions.
