So my team decided we were gonna do team bonding, so we went out to lunch after practice. As I've said, we're teenage girls, and these ones were a bit more, idk basic? Than my friends.

Should I have expected for them to mainly to talk about guys? Maybe. Did I? Not at all.

I severely underestimated how much guys were going to come up. By guys, I mean talking about them in a romantic/sexual-ish sense. This included the whole who's cute thing, asking some guys at Panera for the snapchat, who'd asked out various girls on my team, etc.

A guy would come up and if someone didn't know them, the first question they'd ask was if they were hot. I wasn't disgusted or anything, I was just bored. It's like having everyone talk about a show that you don't watch and don't like. It's SO. BORING.

So that happened today. I'm not even sure we'd have passed the Bechdel test. This is why I wish y'all could move to my town, just so we could have conversations that centered around more interesting things.
