Arjun had the most perfect life ever at least that was what he thought. A successful business career and less than perfect girlfriend who was head over heels in love with him. What more could he ask for?! Aisha was so understanding that sometimes he was in awe of her. He didn't love her but he cared for her deeply. He couldn't love her as that was something he didn't believe in. Only thing that irritated him that his mother had been throwing tantrums of getting him married soon. For crying out loud he was 27 not 37 that he needed to settle down and lose his bachelorhood.

He had so many dreams to achieve and surely marriage was not on his mind right now. He had talked to Aisha about this and she said that she trusted him and will wait for him as long as she can. He didn't wanted a good life he wanted a perfect life. He wanted to have control over everything. Though he hadn't cheat on Aisha but still he missed those good old days when there was no one cling to him in name of girlfriend. He was a total bad boy in college and he wasn't ashamed of that. He thought its a boys birth right to have fun and explore until they get hitched.

He didn't regret changing his lifestyle because if that makes his mom happy then why would he sulk?! Aisha and he had been together for three years now after almost ten breakups. He would fuck up every time and feel guilty but saying sorry wasn't something he had learned to say from right childhood. Aisha would come along after not talking to him for two weeks. Aisha was perfect for him at least that was what he thought. She was hot and there was a selfless golden heart inside that wanton goddess's body.

Now that Aisha was not there in town he was missing out on fun so he decided why not take a break from the work and relax himself. He hadn't had any vacation for five years now and he badly needed one. He had thought of booking tickets to some foreign country but then thought otherwise. He wanted adventure and thrill to race his heartbeats. Comfort of a private hotel and luxury of lemo wouldn't rush his testosterone. So he thought why not visit some village as it is he needed to look out for a location for business purpose. He needed a rural and underdeveloped area and maybe he could help out himself and the people living there in that place too.

After checking out online on some villages. He wanted to enjoy scenic beauty too so he had to choose a beautiful place but a place not developed enough in comparison to cities. He went through all the information about some rural villages his PA had kept on his desk. His eyes stopped on one file. Munsyari Village, Uttarakhand. It was unbelievably beautiful at least that was what the pictures said.

He was turning over the pages of the file just then his phone vibrated. He reached out for his phone and smiled seeing the caller ID. It was Aisha. He brought the phone closer to his ears and whispered, " Hey Babe. Missing me?!"

Listen I'll be out for about a week or even more.

No Ash. Its not a business trip. I am vacationing for my own good.

Ash I need a break from everything. I need to chill out a bit. I have worked out my ass hard for five years without a break.

No I want to go alone.

Surely mom was a hard nut to crack and more than that he wasn't convinced himself. He wanted to marry Aisha and no one else. They were so compatible and that's what a marriage needs more than the shit called love. He could pour his heart out to her resting his head on her shoulder. She was perfect for him and he didn't wanted to let her go just because his mom wanted her to keep away from him.

But for now he didn't wanted to think about any of these. He wanted to get his mind off all this things bugging him.

He had been working late night in his office. It was 10 pm. Everyone had left only he was there burning the night oil. He swear at the moment he felt like a wandering ghost of night. He was the boss so no one questioned him except his dad, the managing director of all their businesses. He grabbed his car keys and walked out to the lift. Soon he reached the basement and took the wheel and drove off to his house.

When he reached home. The words that fell on his ears made him so angry. His mom was talking over phone to one of her friends about his alliance to her daughter as if she was casually discussing weather.

He waited for her to end the call and she did after good fifteen minutes.

She turned to him and gasped in shock," Arj...Arjun when you came?!

He answered gritting his teeth," When you were fixing my marriage without asking my consent. "

"Son, I am doing it for your own good. Aisha isn't right for you. I mean she is not a type of girl you take home to meet your parents." His mom reasoned.

He glared at her fiercely, " Mom just stop. I am tired of all this now. I am in a live in relationship with Aisha. We have lived under one roof without being married. I can't ditch her now just because you feel she is not right for me. If you want me to marry then the girl will only be Aisha and no one else."

Tears rolled down her cheeks,"Never you raised your voice on me and today you did. Just because of that good for nothing slut. Why don't you understand Aisha is not what she looks like. She came in between you and me. She took my son away from me."

"Mom don't use that word for Ash. Just because she poses in short clothes doesn't mean she is that type of girl with a lose character. Mom you only taught me to respect every woman and now you are forgetting your own teachings." He stated.

"You won't have my and your dad's blessings if you want to marry Aisha. Get this straight." She declared.

"Mom please don't do this. You know you and dad mean the world to me." He pleaded.

"Fine then leave her. Break up with her now at this moment. Throw her out of your life now. Now you have to choose. Either its her or us. I don't expect you to answer right now. You may take time to think." She said in a hard tone.

He couldn't believe what his mom just said. She was beyond angry. His mom was never such type of a person but she was so possessive about him as he was the her first child. He had a sister younger than him but he always got more of her love and attention. He was her sun without which her life will be lost in darkness. Even he loved his mom more than anyone in this world. But Aisha had been with him through good and bad. She had never left his side no matter what. But the bigger part of him wanted his mom more than Aisha. She had given birth to him. It was because of her, he was in this world. He owed his whole life to her but it wasn't right to break his promise to Aisha too.

He couldn't sleep whole night. He kept pacing around in his room thinking how to find a way out of this mess. He decided to think about the whole situation in the time he was going to make for himself. He will think throughout the trip and come up with a decision that will change his life forever. But little did he know that his destiny had planned something else for him which was beyond his thinking.

He picked up a book from his bookshelf. It was all about business strategies. He started reading his book to take his mind off everything else. He dozed off on the couch with the book on his chest.

He was in light slumber when he heard a knock on his door. He jolted up and walked to the door and opened it. There stood his baby Sister, Ananya. She was a exact carbon copy of his mom in terms of looks. He could make out his mom would have looked like his little sister in her teenage.

She chirped," Bhai mom has called you down for breakfast."

He cocked his eyebrow, " Why do you sound so happy?!"

She spoke dreamily," Oh that Sujoy in my college asked me out for a coffee. You know he is the most popular guy in my college. "

Arjun fisted and he clenched the words through his teeth, " You are not going with that scumbag or any guy in your college. God you are a baby still."

She got in her feisty mode with her hands on her hips," Bhai I am 17 now
and that means I will be a legal adult soon. Even you thoroughly enjoyed your college life in your time then why can't I?!"

Arjun stated," Because I am a guy and no one points a finger at a guy. You are my baby sister and if I have to confine you to your room to stop you from going out with boys. I will do it gladly. "

She whined like a baby," Bhai no please after so much time he has asked me out. I really want to go."

He shook his head," I said no Ananya. No means no. My sister isn't a prey for playboys to chase."

She folded her arms to her chest and sarcastically stated," How can you say all this when you yourself were a playboy  in past?!"

He shrugged," Baby that's universal law. A man may be a douchbag but he can't stand other men's eyes on his sister, wife and daughter. Its the way we are."

She snarled," This is hypocrisy. "

He smiled a evil one," So be it. You are not going and tell that fucker to stay away from you if he ever wants to be the father of his children in future.

He walked away from her to the bathroom to fresh up leaving her dumbstruck. She couldn't make out what exactly her brother meant.

After about ten to fifteen minutes realization dawned her. Her brother was a downright ass. That's all she could conclude.

She huffed in anger and walked out of his room.

Arjun came downstairs after changing into his formals. He was in no mood to have breakfast with his family after what happened last night. He just wanted to get away from everything. He strolled around in the hall. His mom was sitting on the sofa resting her head back. She looked so depressed. He knew she was worried about him and maybe had not slept even for a second.

He kneeled down in front of her and held her hand in his," Hey mom, Good morning."

She made a face," There is nothing good about the morning."

He kissed her knuckles respectively," Mom I know you are pissed off and mad because of me. But you need to give me some space. I am not your little boy anymore. I am grown up now and I can understand my good and bad."

His mom, Avantika Mehra was strong good hearted woman. But when it came to her children's wellbeing, she seemed more fierce than Hitler itself. She only listened to her heart and something about Aisha always gave her a bad feeling. She felt the girl wasn't what she looked like. She was hiding something and more than that Avantika hated the fact that Arjun wasn't listening to her like every other time. She couldn't accept the fact that Arjun could turn her down for some girl. Her ego was hurt more than her heart.

She snatched back her hand," OK is that why you didn't allow Ananya to go out with that guy?! Because you understand her good and bad more than her."

Arjun nodded," Of course I do. She shouldn't hang out with guys. I can't allow her to fall for the wrong guy and make a mistake. "

Avantika smiled," So put yourself in my place now. Even I can't allow my son to make a mistake."

He pressed his forehead in irritation," Mom please this is different and that is different. I am a grown up man now and I can differentiate between good and bad."

Avantika smirked," So even Ananya is eighteen year old now. Let her learn from her own mistakes. After all even she is a grown up now. She can also...."

Arjun cuts her off angrily," Mom no she is a baby. What she knows about this world?! Nothing!! She doesn't know how dark, selfish and crude the world is. I am trying to protect her and I will till my last breath."

Avantika smiled ear to ear," So will I till my grave. You might be a grown up man now but you are still the same little Arjun for me who would come running in my arms after being bullied in his school. I won't let you make a mistake like you won't allow Ananya to make one."

He sat beside her and rested his head in her lap. She was taken aback. He had kept his head in her lap after twenty years. Her heart swelled with happiness. She weaved her fingers in his hair and caressed them.

He whispered, " Mom I know you care for me and love me to death. Aisha is also important in my life but not more than you. I don't know what to do. I am confused like really confused. I am going on a trip a sort of vacation. I just want to distract my mind."

She bents and kissed his forehead, " I know honey. You need to relax yourself. I am so sorry for yelling at you last night."

A tear streamed down her cheek and fell on his forehead. He got up and wiped her tears," Hey mom don't be sorry. I just need some time, alright?! "
She hugged him and patted his back," Take as much as time you want." She completed her sentence in her mind," I know you will choose me over her. After all blood is thicker than water in all levels."

He pulled back and pecked her forehead, " I love you mom."

She smiled between her tears," I love you more, Son."

He got up and spoke," Mom I need  to leave now. Please take your medicines on time and take care of yourself."

She stated," Only if you promise to take good care of yourself there. You have to call me once every day and no junk food. I still don't understand why do you want to fall ill going to that unhygienic place. But I respect your wish so I won't stop you."

He pulled her cheeks, " I promise this to the most beautiful woman on this earth that I will take good care of myself."

She chuckled, " Beautiful with grey drizzled hair?! Are you kidding me?!"

He shook his head," No I swear I am not. You are the most beautiful woman in my life and you'll always be. Now gorgeous let me go."

She smiled, " OK off you go."

As soon as he left she pulled out the glycerin bottle she had used to bring tears in her eyes and smiled evil, " Hush....What more do I have to do to keep that bitch away from you Arjun?! But its OK I will do anything to discard her from your life. Everything is fair in love and war and this is both. That bitch thinks she'll take you away from your mother. But I won't let that happen at any cost. You'll marry the girl of my choice and soon."
