Mahesh Malhotra: The patriarch of the family. A jolly, friendly punjabi man. Mahesh loves his family alot. Treats his bahus as his daughters and cant wait for his grandsons to get married. Likes to be the cool Dadu and best friends of his grandkids. Completly in love with his wife.

Aarti Malhotra: The wife of Mahesh and mother of Deep & Raman. Loves whole family. A very motherly person who cant see anyone...even a complete stranger sad.

Deep Malhotra: Elder son of Mahesh & Aarti. Husband of Preeti and father of Mukti & Navya. Treats Manik, Yuvraj & Samar as his own sons and treats Cabir & Abhi like his sons as well. Deep is CEO of Malhotra Industries and training Mukti to take his place. Deep is a chilled out parent and is scared of his wife and her anger.

Preeti Malhotra: Wife of Deep, mother of Mukti & Navya, badima of Manik & Samar. Treats all kids equally and loves them all but Manik is the ladla as the eldest child. Preeti runs NGOs and an orphanage from where she brought Yuvraj and his sister home when he was 15 and his sister was 10. Preeti is the strict parent.

Mukti Thakkar(26 yrs): Daughter of Deep & Preeti, twin of Navya and cousin of Manik & Samar. Mukti is being trained to be the next CEO and she loves running Malhotra Industries. She is married to Abhimanyu Thakkar for 1 year now. Loves her family alot. Treats Cabir & Yuvraj as her brothers.

Abhimanyu Thakkar(27 yrs): Husband of Mukti, CEO of Thakkar Industries. Treats Malhotras as his family. Loves his wife more than anything. Has a secret that not even Mukti knows.
(Anyone who knows the secret pls do not comment as if like to keep it a secret for anyone who does not know)

Navya Dhawan(26 Yrs): Twin of Mukti, 5 minutes younger. Cousin of Manik & Samar. Navya is a housewife. Has been married to Cabir for 2 year now. She loves her whole family and treats Abhi & Yuvraj as her brothers.

Cabir Dhawan(27 Yrs): Husband of Navya, soul bro of Manik. Cabir works for Malhotra Industries. He is a big foodie and loves to joke around. Loves the family alot.

Raman Malhotra: Second son of Mahesh & Aarti. Husband of Ishita & father of Manik & Samar. Raman always yearned for a daughter but only has two sons...he loves them alot. Treats Mukti & Navya as his daughters. Raman is MD of Malhotra Industries. He is a more serious person compared to his brother. Respects his brother and bhabhi just like his parents.

Dr. Ishita Malhotra: Ishita is a doctor and works in a hospital owned by the Malhotras. She loves all kids alot but Manik is her ladla. She also always wanted a daughter. Treats Preeti like her sister.

Manik Malhotra(27 yrs): Hotness ki dukaan...the one and only Rockstar Manik Malhotra. Manik is the first born of his cousins. He loves his family alot and can do anything for them. His best friends are Cabir, Abhi & Yuvraj. For the world, Manik is rude and arrogant. He "thought" he was in love with his gf Aliya but she cheated on him and broke up with him to marry Dhruv. Manik has a bad habit of drinking when he is upset something that hsi family doesnt like and he tries to hide from them.

(Note: Aliya & Dhruv are not in this story. I just used them as the back story for Manik as they are the two characters I least liked in KYY.)

Samar Malhotra (21 Yrs): The youngest Malhotra, younger son of Raman & Ishita. Samar is in the final year of college with Sneha (Yuvraj's sister)...whom he has a huge crush on.

Yuvraj Shergill(26 Yrs): One of Manik's best friends and his manager. Yuvraj is an orphan that Preeti brought home, he calls Deep & Preeti bade papa and badi ma and Raman & Ishita Chote papa and choti ma. Treats the Malhotras as his family. He has one sister who he loves the most. He is married for 6 months with Riya.

Riya Shergill(25 Yrs): Wife of Yuvraj, and a fashion designer. Riya loves the Malhotras like her own and is close with her nanand.

Sneha Shergill(21 Yrs): College student with samar and also has a crush on him. Only sister of Yuvraj but also thinks of Manik, Cabir & Abhi as her brothers.
