AUTHOR'S NOTE (VERY IMPORTANT)

Thank you so much for choosing to read this book.

A) This story is set in Nigeria, and as such, it reflects the Nigerian education system.

B) After primary school, students move on to secondary school (high school), which is divided into two phases. The junior secondary school (JSS1-JSS3) lasts for three years, and the senior secondary school (SS1-SS3) also spans three years.

C) As you progress through the classes, your juniors refer to you as "senior" as a mark of respect.

D) The Senior Secondary School Three students, being the highest grade, are given positions of authority within the school, such as head boy and head girl. Collectively, they are known as the prefects. Other examples include dining hall prefect, prep prefect, conformity prefect, library prefect, and labor prefect, among others.

E) Prefects are responsible for maintaining order in the school. They have the authority to discipline any student who breaks the rules. They also serve as protectors of the students, ensuring that teachers who mistreat or neglect them are reported. This includes teachers who fail to teach properly or miss classes without proper authorization.

That's all for now. If you have any questions while reading the story, feel free to leave a comment.

I hope you enjoy the journey, Love,
Amara ❤️
