7. "Are you gay or something?"
For a moment, Kira could see pure concern and worry in his eyes. She couldn't fathom what was going on in his head.
"You shouldn't force yourself to stand if you can't." He held her painful leg. "How much does it hurt?" Aksel asked, placing a hand over her leg.
Kira watched him massage her leg to prevent it from swelling. She was stunned and couldn't speak. "It hurts, ah." She jerked when Aksel touched the area she had hit.
"Sorry." He apologized. "Let me get—" He paused for a second or two as soon as his eyes met hers, suddenly he frowned. "You're so clumsy!" He rolled his eyes at her, standing upright.
"You're not gonna leave me here are you?" Kira frowned when he noticed him turning to leave again.
"What does it seem like I'm doing?" Aksel scoffed while walking away.
Kira batted her lashes in confusion. She thought he wanted to help her, he looked like he'd help her! That nerve of that loser!
"Idiot!" She called out to him angrily.
Kira gradually got on her feet, limping back to her room.
She winced trying to walk away. Climbing the stairs carefully. "Dammit." She looked at her leg and saw a bump. "Stupid stool." She then kept on walking. Kira had already reached the corridor to her room, she smiled as she got closer. "Finally." Kira limped faster but suddenly lost her footing expecting to hit the floor.
She fell sideways, into the arms of someone. "Oh." She looked up, only to see Aksel looking down at her. "Great." Kira deadpanned, following an eye roll.
"Thank you would have been better." He said, flinging her arm over his shoulder.
Kira faced him, "I didn't ask to be helped." She said, limping on one foot as she rested on Aksel's body for support.
"Stop staring 'cos I might throw you down." He warned her.
Kira looked away immediately, flushing pink in embarrassed. Why on earth was she staring?
"Open your door." He ordered her. Kira reached out for the door handle and turned it open.
He helped her to room, assisting her to the bed.
"Just so you know, I owe you nothing for this." Kira told him with her arm still over his shoulder.
"Would it kill you if you just say thank you?" He frowned at her.
Kira pulled him closer... "Why? I didn't ask for your help did I?" She rolled her eyes. As she tried to free her arm away from his shoulder, she noticed that her bracelet had caught on something.
"Get your hand away." Aksel tried to fling her arm off but Kira gripped him. "What's wrong with you?" He groaned aloud.
"My bracelet caught on to your shirt." She said but Aksel kept moving. "Stay still or you'll break it. Do you know how much it's worth? Enough to buy your soul." Kira said, carefully trying to remove her bracelet from his shirt.
"You're doing this on purpose. I don't have time for this woman!" Aksel tried to push her off again.
Kira gasped, feeling offended. "Woman?!"
"Stop with your whining and get your bracelet off of me." Aksel glared at her.
Kira glared back. "Then stay still!" She raised her voice at him in annoyance. Taking her free hand, Kira wrapped it over his neck as she used it to undo her bracelet.
"Hold on." Kira pulled him closer and his chin landed on her shoulder. "I'll be quick." She said to him.
Aksel impatiently waited for her to finish.
"All done." She finally announced, unwrapping her arms.
Aksel slowly, pulled away as both their eyes met. They stared, dangerously close to each others faces.
Kira couldn't help but trace the line of his lips with her eyes. She was suddenly drawn to him like a magnet, it was as if a voice in her head was controlling her. His lips looked very inviting and tempting, Kira tried to resist. She gathered her guts leaning in to kiss him.
Aksel stopped her just as soon as Kira was about to place her lips against his. "Don't even think about it." He said firmly, creating a huge gap between them as he pulled away.
All the courage she had built suddenly crashed, leaving her mortified. "Wait I..." Kira tried to stop him from leaving but Aksel didn't care to spare her a little glance. He walked out on her.
Kira has never been rejected by a guy before so she was surprised! Oh no, did she really want to kiss Aksel? Why... Why did he pull away? She was definitely attractive, every guy wanted her but.... Aksel? She could see he also wanted to the kiss to happen or did she misinterpret? She had so many questions!

Monday mornings were indifferent to Kira. This time she let her long hair cascade down her back with an headband holding it in place.
Kira slammed the door of the car shut and soon the driver drove off. She made quick glances at Aksel who was sitting beside her.
"If you have something to say, say it." Aksel said without looking at her.
Kira turned to him... "Yes, yes I do have something to say to you. You! You've been avoiding me, don't think I did not notice." Kira spoke with confidence.
"Last I checked, you hate me. So why won't I avoid you?" Aksel asked, still not looking at her. "What do you want from me?" He leaned back against the chair, closing his eyes.
"Is this about Saturday?" Kira asked him. "You're avoiding me because of Saturday night."
"Can you remind me again, what happened Saturday night?" Aksel asked nonchalantly.
Kira glared at him. She decided that if he was going to play dumb and forgetful, she would do the same. So she dismissed the topic.
"About the communication assignment when are we starting? I don't plan on getting a B." She said, tucking in her hair behind her ears.
"I'm done with mine." Aksel shrugged.
"You are?" She furrowed her brow. "But you didn't get to interview me." Kira raised a questioning brow at him.
"I didn't have to. A week with you taught me a lot." Aksel turned to her.
She eyed him up and down. "Like what?"
"Kira Aniston is a daddy's girl who feels entitled to the whole world. She is bratty, self centered, arrogant and tempered." Aksel stated without mincing his words.
Kira instant scoffed at his imagined description. "Hold on, the person you just described is not me. What? You don't think I'm pretty or attractive? You don't see me as a hottie? I'm a straight A brainiac!" Kira raised her voice. She knew she wasn't those things Aksel mentioned.
Aksel had a hearty laugh.. "You?" He laughed again, leaning close to her. "You honestly think you're pretty?" He gave a corny smile.
"I don't think, I know I'm pretty." She leaned forward, narrowing her eyes at him. "You don't know anything about me."
"I don't care to know." Aksel rolled his eyes. "I'm submitting the assignment tomorrow whether you like it or not."
Kira eyed him up and down in disgust.. "You've finally started showing your true colors. 'Cos the way you speak to me just shows how much you wanna humiliate me." She poked his chest hard before turning away.
They finally arrived at the school premises....
"Everyone is going to ask why we are together, you're going to say I dropped you off because I'm a very nice person." Kira told as she primped herself up.
Aksel scoffed How on earth does she try to ridicule every situation? "You wish." Aksel got out of the car, not minding who was looking at him.
Kira curled her fist into a ball angrily. Why couldn't she just tame Aksel?! She got out of the car and saw a few people looking at her.
"Kiki!!" Liam had see her from afar. He jogged over to where she was.
"Hey." She smiled, loving seeing her boyfriend looking sexier and hotter. "God I missed you." Kira immediately wrapped her arm around his neck. "Come on."
She opened the door to the car and pulled Liam inside.
"What is it?" Liam pulled her onto his lap and she straddled him.
Kira stared at him with mirth in her eyes. "You look so hot." She said taking his arms to her waist. She pinned her lips against his, slow kissing him.
"You wanna have sex in the car? The driver's gonna hear us." Liam tightened an arm around while his other hand slowly crept up into her short skirt.
Kira broke into a stifled laugh... "Sex in a car on a Monday morning sounds like ultimate fun." She said, tracing a finger down his shirt. "But I'll get into serious trouble." Kira shook her head.
Liam gave her a quick kiss on the lips. "God Kiks, I love you." He said to her with a smile, rubbing her inner thigh.
Kira smiled... "I know you do." She got up from his lap. "Let's go."
They both got down from the car, walking with their hands interlocked. Immediately they entered the hall way, the Pinkly Gossips rushed over to them.
"So, we heard a news." Cat, the leader started.
"Can you give her a little space?" Liam glared that the girls.
"Sorry girls, not today." Kira flashed a fake smile, trying to leave.
"What's up with you and the new transfer student, Aksel?" Jay asked while trying to catch up with the couple.
"She doesn't need to answer that now buzz off!" Liam snapped at Jay but she didn't budge.
"We heard that you're staying together at the Aniston's mansion." Kitty blurted out. "Is that true?"
Kira stopped on her tracks and turned to them. "Who told you that?"
"We heard. And by the looks of it, it's true." Cat smirked. "Alright ladies, let's leave these two alone."
"Kitty who told you that?" Kira was curious to know.
"Don't you know it's all over the school's blog? It was only a rumor but now it seems true." Jay shrugged.
"Aren't you gonna tell me who tipped you off?" Kira asked looking at the girls leaving.
"Kiki let them be." Liam pulled her closer to him. "Don't mind them, you shouldn't listen to them." He said.
"I'm sure that loser must have told them. That guy is really going to hear from me." Kira was angry, she marched forward to look for Aksel.
"Where are you going?" Liam called out to her.
"Go find Nessa, I'll join you guys later." Kira said while leaving.
Liam sighed... Kira was really something else.
Kira had spotted Aksel going to the library, she immediately ran up to meet him.
"You are one sonofabitch do you know that?" She said while catching up to him.
Aksel turned around. His abrupt stop made Kira crash her face into his chest.
"Ow!" She had hit her forehead on his chest. Her hand flew to her head, massaging her forehead.
"Don't tell me you're following me again? Have you suddenly forgotten what happened to you the last time you tried following me?" Aksel raised a brow, staring down at her.
"I hate you." Kira poked his chest continuously. "I hate you to my core Aksel Estridsen. You are such an asshole!" She kicked his shin but he remained unmoved. "How can you not feel pain?! I want you to feel exactly what I'm feeling right now." Kira raised her hand to slap him but Aksel's quick reflexes were faster that he caught her hand. "Hey!" She squealed.
In one swift move, Aksel wrapped his other arm around her, pulling her closer. A surprised Kira, looked up at Aksel, sealing the eye contact.
"You told everyone we were staying together." Kira glared at him.
Aksel scoffed, tightening his arms around her body. "And just why would I do that?"
"You want to humiliate me. Listen here loser, I don't back down from a fight and you just crossed the line." Kira said with spite.
"I won't gain anything by telling everyone that we live together. I'm nothing like you, I don't report all I see or hear. But then again, you deserve humiliation." Aksel smirked at her, pulling her dangerously close.
"Let me go." Kira frowned at him.
"Gladly." Aksel grinned, releasing his hands immediately.
Kira gasped as she felt herself fall backwards but Aksel held her by the waist before she could lose her balance.
"You're crazy!" Kira whisper-yelled at him.
"You're the crazy one." Aksel nodded.
"Get away from her!" Liam's furious voice came through.
Aksel looked ahead and saw Liam approaching. "Lover boy's here, on your feet." Aksel allowed her to get a steady balance before pulling away from her.
Liam pulled Kira behind him. "Touch her next time and your fingers would be displaced." Liam leveled up to him. Both boys were tall and of the same height.
"Liam I'm fine, let it go." Kira held Liam, trying to pull him away.
"You heard her, she's fine." Aksel said to him. He didn't seem to see Liam as a threat.
"Liam come on." Kira said as didn't want trouble.
Liam looked at her... "You good?" He asked to be sure. Kira nodded and he pecked the top of her head. "Come on." Liam placed his hand at her back, leading her away. "Nessa's with Principal Jones, he's talking to her." Liam informed her.
"Oh." She nodded.

The school bell rang while the students packed all their books.
"Okay class, we'll call it a day." Their mathematics teacher said as he watched some students get on their feet.
"Finally." Nessa yawned, flipping her red hair. "I'm so tired."
"Me too." Kira sighed. She took out her red lipstick and a small mirror from her bag, applying the lipstick to her lips.
Nessa's eyes rested on Ian who was packing his books into his bag. "That loser guy is nerdy, he's so good in math." Nessa said to her.
Kira glanced over at Ian who was already preparing to leave. "Good for him."
Nessa clicked her tongue. "Have you ever tried flirting with him?" She suddenly asked.
Kira scoffed... "He isn't interest in me, no matter how much I flaunt my beauty at his face." Kira remembered how he mocked her, asking if she was pretty.
"So you did try." Nessa giggled. "You should try harder, he might fall for you." Nessa shrugged.
"I don't want him to fall for me. That fool hates my guts, he's never going to fall." Kira told her plainly.
"Are you sure he's not into boys?" Nessa asked.
Kira reminisced back on when she had tried to kiss him but he pulled back instead of kissing her. "I don't know." She wasn't sure.
Nessa and Kira walked towards the parking lot.
"Kira isn't that your driver?" Nessa pointed to a corner.
"What's he doing here?" Kira frowned. "I texted that he shouldn't come to pick me up today."
"Maybe he's here for loser guy." Nessa said referring to Aksel. Immediately she spoke, she saw him walking towards the car.
The two girls waited for the car to drive away but it didn't.
"Why aren't they leaving?" Kira frowned. Just then he phone rang. It was her driver. "Yeah? Really? No problem." She disconnected the call. "Hey, I gotta go. Tell Liam I already left." Kira said to her.
"Where are you going?" Nessa asked.
"To my dad's office." She said before walking towards where the car was parked.
Kira got into the car, she looked at Aksel. She immediately noticed that he wasn't wearing his glasses, rather, they were in his hands.
"Why do you think my dad wants to talk to both of us?" Kira asked him.
Aksel turned to her. "I don't know."
Kira kept staring at him. He looked different... Again.
"I hate it when you stare like that." He shook his head before placing his glasses over his eyes.
She rolled her eyes. "A lot of people would die to have me staring at them."
Aksel glanced at her, "What did you paint on your lips? It makes no sense." He asked, frowning at her.
"Why don't you taste and find out?" Kira sarcastically said, rolling her eyes.
"Do you prefer I did this instead?" In a second Aksel hovered around her, leaning closely to her lips. "Would this be better?" He whispered, placing his hands astride her head.
Kira licked her lips nervously as she stared down at his lips. She could feel the heat of his breath on her nose, she then closed her eyes waiting for him to kiss her.
Aksel just tugged at her seatbelt over her body, buckling her in place.
Kira opened her eyes, frowning slightly, "You..."
"What were you thinking? Did you think I would want to kiss you?" He scoffed at her, "I don't want to humiliate you further." He said, mockingly.
Kira laid back against the chair. "Wow." Kira knew Aksel rejected her once again, it hit hard this time. "Are you gay or something?" Kira had to ask.
Aksel raised a brow at her. "What?"
"No really, I'm serious, I wanna know." Kira narrowed her eyes at him.
"I'm not gay. I'm one hundred percent attracted to girls." He assured her.
"Then how come you're not attracted to me?" Kira sat up, looking at him with pure concern.
Aksel rolled his eyes. "Look Kira, I've told you this before, not everyone is bound to lick your feet. The truth is, you're not my type." Aksel said to her.
Kira scoffed at his statement, "Then you must really have terrible taste in girls."
"Is that what you think?" Aksel nodded slowly, "My girlfriend isn't artificial, she's all natural. She doesn't bleach her hair, she goes on free makeup, she's not proud, she's down to earth, she's very pretty and you're nothing compared to her, she's smart, she's funny, she treats everyone equally and most importantly, she's not a bully." Aksel said, keeping a straight face.
He continued with stopping, "You're the total opposite. A pure fake." Aksel told her, trying to piss her off but Kira just kept staring at him.
