Unchained: *sweatdrops* Keir~ Kain~! *long pause* Dammit, get your--

Kain: *suddenly enters, adjusting his hat and muffing a small yawn behind his lips*

Unchained: *demands* Where's your brother?

Kain: *cocks his head* ... not sure. I thought he was behind me.

Unchained: *big sigh* Dammit, I knew this would happen. *raises her voice* Keir! Rhett is in trouble!

Keir: *launches himself through the doorway, looking frantic* What? Where? How? Who? I'm going to kill them!

Unchained: *giggles* I lied~ Remember how I told you that you've got a question?

Keir: *blinks a few times* *dramatic pout appears* Unchained! That's not fair! *whines* If Rhetty's not here then I don't wanna be here! We were taking a nap!

Kain: *cuffs the back of his brother's head as he moves to draw even with their author*

Keir: *pouts more, shoulders slumped, but follows his brother*

Unchained: *rolls her eyes* I can tell. Your bedhead is adorable. *glances at Kain* Should I assume you're the other half of the we?

Kain: *shrugs*

Unchained: *sweatdrops* Right. So helpful. *clears her throat* Anyways, your questions! *holds up the card she has it written on* You two ready?

Keir: *opens his mouth to complain, but shuts it a second later, his pout growing*

Kain: *satisfied expression*

Unchained: *pouts* It's not fair when you two do that! What's the point of learning telepathic magic only to talk to each other?

Both: *shrug*

Unchained: ... right. I'm just going to read this aloud! This is from Amy~ "Okay, so it's been a while, and I'ma wondering! Starry Rose twins, Keir and Kain, hiya!"

Keir: *perks up slightly* Hi~

Unchained: ... you know, I'm reading it. She's not here. There's no need to say hi.

Keir: *just goes back to pouting, crossing his arms* But I wanna!

Unchained: *opens her mouth, only to be cuffed on the back of the head by Kain* *sputtered protests* H-hey! Don't go picking up Sera's thing!

Kain: *brow raise* Is she the only one allowed to scold idiots?

Unchained: *slumps* You two... I'll... I'll just continue. "So, what do you two look for when you, er, latch onto someone/thing (to put it nicely)?"

Keir: *blinks* *beaming smile* I look for Rhetty!

Unchained: *slowly, as if speaking to a child* Yes, but what attracted you to him?

Keir: *confused* Him being Rhetty.

Unchained: ... *looks to Kain*

Kain: *silent for a moment, studying his brother who in turn furrows his brow*

Keir: *brightens after a few more seconds of their silent conversation* I see! Rhetty is adorable and helpless! I like those things.

Unchained: *sweatdrops*

Keir: I also like that he's really strong, too! But he doesn't have to be because I'll always take care of him. If someone hurts him then I'll just kill them. *cocks his head, a sorta creepy smile on his face* It doesn't matter who it is. I'll rip them open and--

Unchained: *puts her hands up* *hastily* I think we get the idea. I guess you sorta answered the question.

Keir: *continuing* --then I'll use my magic to blow--

Unchained: *hastily still* Kain? What about you?

Kain: *considers* ... I like strong, too. *after a moment, a faint, fond smile on his usually stoic face* She's pretty, as well. So I guess that doesn't hurt. I'm not all that concerned with physical appearance, however. *pauses, as if to think it over, then continues once again* I like those who aren't connected to anything.

Unchained: *confused* Huh?

Kain: ... she has no one. We're similar. *pauses when Keir cuts off in his rant to send Kain a pout* ... almost.

Unchained: ... you two are weird, you know that?

Kain: *continues, his tone just as even* I also like when one cares little about others opinions. It's nice to see someone so... free. Then there is how she doesn't care to get close to anyone. It means I won't have to worry about too many rivals to... deal with.

Unchained: ...

Kain: *almost as an afterthought* Not that she ever notices. If I have to deal with someone or something, I make sure to do my best to do it without causing Waverly trouble.

Keir: *snickers* Like that time when she got hurt on a job?

Kain: *nods*

Keir: *tucks his hands behind his head, cocking it back fondly at the memory* That was fun!

Unchained: ... I don't anyone wants to know what you did to those poor bandits. Onto the next question. How did you four meet?

Kain: *simply* We met after Keir and I joined Starry Rose. Keir instantly seemed seemed to like Rhett--

Keir: *interjects* He's Rhetty! Of course I did!

Kain: *without pause* And Waverly needed a partner. *thin, sorta creepy smile* I was happy to obliege and remove any threats from her path.

Kain: *cuffs the back of his brother's head*
