Sudha started her work and it was quite challenging in the beginning. She was comfortable when she was home writing stories and posting them. But now she is under the scrutiny of her officials and they always keep an eye on what she writes and reads it in front of her giving her nerves. They would accept her stories but also would suggest her to change a few things making her brain work more efficiently. She was also asked to write a few articles regarding the current affairs.

She was all new to this world and she somehow felt out of place as she was physically challenged and people would not accept her. But surprisingly everyone is very normal to her and treated her as their equal. She got comfortable around them and her co-workers always helped her with many things. She was very happy and lively again after a long time. Being at home and doing home chores was not a problem to her, she liked it but being in a world full of challenges and facing them was her dream. Now that she was living it she was delighted.

Shyam on the other hand started working hard to repay the money to Aabida and also to buy something to sudha. She literally had been a blessing in his life. Without her he would never have reached this phase in his life.

" Sudha let's get out of here for sometime " shyam said on a weekend. Sudha was having off from work and shyam also finished his work early to spend time with his wife. Now that he is with his wife he doesn't want to stay home and kill time.

" What are you planning? " Sudha asked raising her brows.

" Maybe somewhere out of this place " he said looking at her. He sneaked his hand towards her waist pulling her closer to himself. As he was laying in cot in the backyard she was sticked on his front now.

" To where? " She asked again. Shyam kept moving his hand around her waist giving her goosebumps. She got habituated to his touches but still it feels new and surreal whenever he was near her. She closed her eyes in satisfaction when he rubbed her waist slowly.

" The place where only we both exist " he whispered near her ear making her shiver.

" Is there any place like that? " She asked curiously although a moan was about to escape her lips.

" Come I will show you. I cannot promise.  But we will surely enjoy it there" he said and got up. He took her in his arms and moved inside his bedroom shocking her.

" What? Is this the place are you talking about? " She questioned placing her hands on her hips.

" I will tell you but wear something new " he said pulling her towards himself. She knew if this continues they will not be able to come out so she pushed him away.

" Okay then. You get out first so that I could change " she said standing near the door.

" Why? You can change in front of me. Its not like I am seeing something new or someone else's assets. Right? " He asked running his eyes all over her body making her self conscious about her body. His mere gaze around her body gave her tickles.

" No. I know what will happen then. You better go out or we will stay home. That's it " she said stubbornly.

" Fine. I will go. Make it quick " he said and went out.

Sudha took her time in selecting a beautiful saree and got ready as fast as she could. She came out and saw her husband waiting impatiently for her. He smiled looking at her and came near her.

" You look ravishing. I am sure we are going to have a long night tonight " he smirked making Sudha shy.

She giddily waited outside for him and after a few moments he came out.

" Come on let's get out of here " shyam said and both of them went out of the house.

" Where are we off to? " Sudha asked curiously as they were going towards another direction from the town. She was unaware of the villages nearby as she never visited.

" We are going to a festival darling " shyam replied making Sudha confused.

" A festival? " She questioned.

" Yes. There is a village festival going on in the near by village. We are going there " he said.

" Yeah I remember. There was an article written about it recently " she said.

" Sure there was. I read it about it too " shyam replied.

" Why did you stop your education? " Sudha asked as she was planning to ask him about it for a while now.

" I will tell you later. But for now let us enjoy the festival celebrations " shyam said and took her towards the crowd. It was not much rush as it was still late afternoon. People would be gathering mostly during night time so it was not much crowded. She was looking towards all the decorations and surroundings and felt really happy.

" It is really decorated beautifully. I like it here " she said and looked here and there. She stopped near a shop and picked the newspaper. There she found the column she wrote and smiled gratefully.

" It's yours right? " He questioned to which she nodded. He took the paper from her and read it completely.

" Hmm. It's really nice to see your name in here " he said and took the paper along with him.

When she was roaming with her husband she found someone looking at her continuously. She turned around but found none. She pushed the thought away and roamed with her husband enjoying the street food and playing games here and there. Both of them climbed the Ferris wheel and sudha shouted loudly due to fear holding Shyam's hand tightly.

" You are really scared of that? " Shyam asked and sudha nodded. Shyam tried to laugh but he don't want to make fun of her.

Sudha suddenly felt someone following her and she turned around to find none.

" What happened? " Shyam asked.

" Nothing " she said but her mind was not calm sensing that someone was looking at her constantly.

It was already late evening and shyam suggested to leave. Sudha was also tired of roaming and nodded her head. She enjoyed being with her husband and spending quality time with him.

" You wait here I will go and get maa's favourite sweets. She will love it " shyam said to her after reaching near to their cart. Sudha nodded her head and started moving towards the cart. She could still feel a lingering gaze upon her and she couldn't shut off that thought.

She started walking but she felt someone following her. She stopped and turned around immediately wanting to know the person following her.

" You? " She asked as soon as she saw the person.

" Yes. It's me. How have you been? " He asked casually.

" You scared me " she held her chest in her hand and sighed closing her eyes.

" That was not my intention sudha. I was just wanting to talk to you but I don't know if your husband would be alright seeing me with you " rajesh said moving a few feet towards sudha.

" It's not a problem. And how are you? It's been a very long time since I talked to you " sudha said with a small smile.

" I am doing good sudha and I was a mess for a few months but I am fine now. I guess " he said making Sudha furrow her brows. It felt as if he was talking something which was a secret he was holding in for a long time.

" I am happy that you are alright now. And why are you here in this village by the way? " Sudha questioned.

" Oh I came here to look for a bride for me " he said with a smile although an unknown longing held in his eyes.

" Wow that's a good news. And how's the girl? Did you like her? " Sudha asked excitedly.

" I did see her yesterday and she is a fine girl " he said. Sudha was confused with his behaviour as he was always very active and energetic person but now he was not the person she actually knew.

" When are you going to get married then? " She asked further as she don't want to kill the conversation.

" I did not say yes yet to her. I am staying here in my uncle's house as it is festival here. I will leave very soon " he said.

" And why didn't you say yes when you think she is a fine girl? " Sudha asked. Rajesh looked at her for a good few seconds before answering.

" I was not ready to marry just a fine girl sudha. I wanted someone who was extraordinary and she got slipped from my hands " he whispered the later part which was inaudible to sudha.

" No one is extraordinary in this world. We should learn to make everything extraordinary out of ordinary. Who knows the girl you saw might be the one who is really not just fine but something more " she said making Shyam surprise. He never expected such kind of response from her.

" Who is this sudha? " Shyam asked coming from behind her.

" He is rajesh. He lives in my village. We used to go to same school back then. I just met him accidentally and was talking " sudha said happily looking at Shyam. Rajesh felt out of place as soon as he saw both of them happy and all lovely. He saw how both of them were enjoying each other's company and how much they loved each other.

" Oh that's nice. I am Shyam, sudha's husband " he said with a smile.

" I know. I mean I saw you in her wedding and after that too but we could not meet personally " rajesh replied.

" Yeah I don't really know many people from your village " shyam turned towards sudha and she shrugged.

" We are getting late sudha. We should get going " shyam whispered to sudha.

" Okay then all the best with your bride hunting " she chuckled and rajesh nodded with a smile.

" We will leave now. Take care " shyam said to rajesh and he nodded.

Rajesh knew this would be the last time he was able to talk to her without anything as he will be getting married soon. So he was really happy to have a little chat with her.

" Take care sudha " rajesh said heartfully and left from there.

I was just busy obsessed with this vampire series lately🫣 and didn't write anything. I watched it continuously without a break 😜😜
So I am sorry for late update guys. Hope you will like this chapter.
