Shyam was immersed in his work but at the back of his mind he can still feel sudha and his passionate night. He asked a few people to come to work on the farm. He was able to afford three to four people for a few days. So to increase the pace of work he had to appoint people.

" Looks like someone is very busy huh!? " Vikas said from behind and shyam turned around to see his friend standing there with his hands on his hips. All shyam wanted was to go home and just make love to his wife without a break but here he was stuck with his work and now his friend.

" Yeah man. I have a lot to do " shyam replied continuing his work.

" Why do I feel like my friend is no more interested in talking to me? " Vikas said raising his brows. He observed how shyam was trying to avoid his gaze and continued his work not paying attention to him. Shyam sighed not wanting to be oblivious but he was failing miserably.

" Vikas, I am trying to work. Don't disturb me now " shyam said trying to sound serious but vikas smirked knowing the reason behind.

" Sure man. But I was planning to call sudha at my home tonight. Chaitra had been asking about her for a long time. Maybe they both can spend some quality time together " vikas stuck the exact chord making shyam stop his work and turn towards his friend who was still smirking.

" I don't think sudha would agree " shyam said but vikas played along.

" And who are you to decide that? " Vikas said raising his brows. Shyam's blush was caught by Vikas and he suppressed his smile.

" Umm... I will deal with this later " shyam said and is working again.

" Sure we will deal with the thing that is making you blush later " vikas said with a smirk and Shyam's blush intensified.

" Just leave me alone " shyam said not able to control the blush creeping on his face.

" Okay I am leaving. I am leaving " vikas said and left from there. Shyam sighed in relief and kept looking at his friend again and again. Vikas knew this had something to do with his wife.

Sudha completed her chores and read the letter. She started writing a reply although it was too late for that. She apologized for such a long delay and requested if there was any vacancy available. She even thanked them for showing their interest and sending her the job offer. This time she wrote her original name not wanting to confuse them. She enclosed it with the received letter. She packed lunch for her husband and went to the farm along with the letter. She saw him washing his hands and coming near her to eat. All the other workers left as their shift was over for today.

" I see you are not the only one working " she said looking at the workers leaving after washing their hands and legs.

" Yeah I appointed a few people to work for a few days. It's just for half a day though " he replied and sat down to eat. She served him lunch and waited for him to eat.

" You had lunch? " He asked.

" Yeah I did before coming here " she replied. He forwarded his hand with food near her mouth but she shook her head.

" How many times did I tell you? A few morsels will not make you fat " he chuckled and sudha opened her mouth. He finished eating and washed his hands.

" Here. I want you to drop this letter in the post. I actually do not know where the post is in this village " sudha said extending the letter.

" Oh so you finally did it " shyam said and opened the letter and read it. Sudha saw him curiously as his eyes moved along the lines and was wondering if he knows how to read and write.

" Hmm. That's a good way to impress. You do have your way with words sudha. I am so happy for you. I will post it this evening " he said and kept it in his pocket.

" You know how to read and write? " Sudha asked curiously.

" Yeah I do. Well I studied till seventh standard " shyam said and looked at her.

" Then why did you stop your education? " She asked confused.

" Sudha we will discuss this some other time. I have a lot of work to do, " shyam said.

" But you... " Sudha said.

" Sudha please this is not important. I have work " he said.

" Sure I will leave then " she said packing the lunch box.

" Not so soon wife. You still didn't serve me the desert " he said making Sudha frown. Before she could process his words he pulled her by the waist and kissed her lips silencing her.

" Now I am full " he said and winked. Sudha blushed and went away not looking back. But what kept her mind occupied was why he stopped his education. She just brushed the thought away and went home.

Weeks passed by and village gossip became interesting. Everyone started talking about gangadhar now. Wherever he went people would whisper about him and also his friends started making fun of him behind his back. Gangadhar's father was too furious with this and blamed his son for everything.

" It's because of you we lost our reputation. You are good for nothing, " his father yelled at him.

" What did I do father? Was it my fault that he managed to pay the debt? " Gangadhar replied frustrated.

" Actually it is my fault to give you this much liberation. You will leave this village and go to the town to look after the business there. You are not coming to the village unless I ask you to. Understand? " His father shouted blazing in anger.

" But dad... " Gangadhar tried to reason with him but one look from him he shut his mouth and left the village the next morning without anyone's knowledge.

With this incident not only gangadhar but also Radha's life took a turn. Kishore who witnessed everything with his eyes felt very connected with shyam and sudha's relationship. The look both of them held made him feel worthless for treating his wife like no one. He started observing his wife who was always in the room doing just little chores or nothing. She would serve him dinner with utmost care and attention and never said no to his carnal desires. He also observed she never fully participated in sex. He was the one who would dominate and she would be very submissive. Sometimes he felt he never gave her a chance or an opportunity to be herself with him. She was just forcefully being with him although she loved him dearly.

She was feeling extremely unwell and he called the doctor home to check on her as his mother is busy with things which are nothing.

" Doctor she had been very tired and throwing up a lot these days. She seems to be feeling drowsy as well " kishore said to the doctor who smiled at him. Radha was extremely shocked to see her husband so concerned about her health. Not to mention he had been behaving quite soft with her.

" I am happy you care about your wife but I need privacy to check on her. So will you please excuse us for a minute " she said making kishore nod. He immediately left and waited outside. His father was out for some work and his mother was God knows where. So when he came back home from work he saw her fall down due to drowsiness and he had also observed her vomiting most of the time. So there was no other option than calling the doctor.

" You can come in sir " the doctor said and he went inside to see Radha really happy and blushing. He held her hand and asked the doctor about her health. Radha was shy seeing her husband being all touchy in front of the doctor.

" Congratulations sir. You do not have to worry about anything. She is pregnant " the doctor said making kishore's eyes go wide.

" Wh...what? " He asked making the doctor frown.

" You didn't hear me sir? You are going to be parents soon. Take care of her " the doctor replied. Kishore looked at Radha who nodded happily making him smile wide.

" Thank you so much doctor " he said and turned towards his wife. He hugged her tightly and the doctor left from there.

For the first time ever radha felt loved and cared for in her marriage. She was on cloud nine to see her husband showering her with affection and utmost care.

" From now on you are going to take care of yourself. No more tensions and worries " he said placing his forehead on hers to which she nodded with tears in eyes.

" I will tell the news to everyone. I am going to be a father " he cooed like a kid and left from there. Radha touched her tummy and thanked God for bringing such joy in her life.

Kishore shared the news with everyone and the zamindar sahab was very happy about it. He distributed sweets to everyone and expressed his gratitude to the lord. He blessed his daughter in law and son and called her parents to share the happy news.

Kishore saw how his mother was not showing any interest in his wife's health. So he decided to take her away from here as he knows how his mother acts sometimes. He was sure Radha would not be able to raise her voice against his mother so he had to think about other ways.

Sudha and Shyam's life fell into an ordeal with their mornings busy with work and very passionate nights filled with love and love making. Sudha got to know about Radha's pregnancy and she was very happy about her. She went to the temple and prayed for her well being. She wanted to go meet her directly but she didn't want to face other people as it did not end well in the panchayat.

Shyam was coming back from work when he saw the postman calling him to get his attention. He turned around and the postman handed him the letter and left from there.

" Sudha there's a letter in your name. Here " shyam handed her the letter. Sudha saw the address and was excited to read it. She immediately opened it and started reading it. She was very delighted as she received the letter finally she was waiting for a long time.

" What is it sudha? " Shyam asked looking at her.

" I got a reply. They are asking me to come and meet them personally. They want to take an interview so that they can see my performance and eligibility " sudha said showing him the letter.

" Well then you definitely should not miss this opportunity " he said feeling happy for her.

" Not me. We are not going to miss this " she replied.

" What does that mean? " He asked.

" It means you are coming with me and waiting for me till I complete my interview. I can't do this alone. I want you beside me " sudha said looking into his eyes.

" Sure sudha. I am always with you to support you. Just let me know when we need to go so that I can make time for that day. Okay? " He said placing his hands on her shoulders.

" Thanks so much. You do not have any idea how much this means to me " sudha said and hugged him. She was very short in front of him and he had to bend a little to hug her.

" Yeah this means a lot to me as well " he replied.

" We are going to do this together. For us " sudha said and shyam nodded placing his forehead on hers.
