Jeremy
"Okay dad. I love you too." Jeremy hopped out of the car and waved goodbye at his father. He turned to look at the building in front of him. Legacy High School. And he was here to do acting. His dad was so proud of him.
His mom wasn't exactly around to be proud, but that didn't matter.
He walked up the steps and pulled out his papers. His schedule, his dorm room, his roomate, and his acceptance letter. He walked along the halls of doors, searching for room 248. 246..247..248! He knocked on the door before walking in.
A Filipino kid in a red sweatshirt was already sitting on a bed inside. He had his headphones on and was listening to music. Jeremy opened his mouth to say something, but shook his head and turned to put his stuff down. Only when he dropped something did the kid take his headphones off.
"I didn't see you come in." He stood up, walking over to help Jeremy.
"No dip, Sherlock." Jeremy rolled his eyes.
"I'm Michael. Here for dance." He offered his hand, and Jeremy shook it.
"Jeremy. Heere."
"Here for...?" Michael waited for Jeremy to continue.
"No that's my last name." He put a pillow on the bed. "I'm here for acting, though."
"That's cool." Michael put a few things away, and huffed. "I'm trying to decided if I'm going to call you Jere or Jere-Bear."
Jeremy blushed, embarrassed by the nicknames. "None! Please!"
"Jere it is." Michael winked, and Jeremy groaned.
"Then I'm gonna call you Micha." Jeremy smirked, hoping that would embarrass Michael as well.
"Okay. Works for me." Michael shrugged, then pointed to the TV on the wall. "They give us TVs in every dorm."
"That's awesome." Jeremy gaped. "Now I can play AOTD! I was worried I wouldn't be able to."
"You play AOTD?" Michael turned to him, grinning.
"Yea, I used to play it with my dad. He wasn't very good though."
"Oh! My moms are gamers. We play all the time." Michael chuckled, and Jeremy blushed unnoticeablely. His laugh was kinda cute.
"Lucky. My dad sucks." Jeremy shurgged.
"Don't bash your dad, bro!" Michael shoved Jeremy playfully.
"Fine, Micha~." Jeremy whispered, making Michael blush a little.
"...stooooppp..." Michael looked away, and walked over to his bed.
"Why, Micha~?" Jeremy knew how to flirt, he knew how to flirt really well. He liked seeing his new roomate flustered, as his cute face wrinkled up in frustration. His friend, Christine, had taught him to flirt well a while ago. He knew Christine was coming to Legacy too, so he was excited.
"UGHHGHH." Michael covered his face with his hands. Jeremy giggled and flopped himself on his bed, scrolling through his phone.
"So..." Jeremy started. "Were you here for the summer program?"
"Yeah." Michael looked at his apple watch. (Fight me) "Shit. Speaking of summer programs, I've got to go watch a dance competition. My friend, who I met in the program, is performing there."
"C-competition?" Jeremy questioned.
"Yeah. The primas, the best dancers in the school, have contests between each other a lot. Today is my friends turn to dance."
"Who's your friend?"
"Mac."
"Mac...?"
"Mhm."
"Like McKenzie? Or Mac and cheese?"
"Like McNamara." Michael laughed.
"Who names their child McNamara?" Jeremy was bewildered.
"Her name is Heather McNamara. We call her Mac though because she's apart of one of the most popular groups in school; the Heathers." Michael looked dazed by this. Did he like her? That's cute. "She's kinda not the leader, but you know. Anyway, it's hard to call her Heather when she's always with the Heathers. You understand, right?"
"Mhm." Jeremy nodded. "So let's go."
"Okay." Michael grabbed Jeremy’s hand and they raced out the door.
Sorry it's so short agh
