Jungkook entered the palace furiously. "Dad! This is not acceptable. They have killed our soldiers. Why? They want a war! They want to take over everything. They didn't even wait for our official statement. They have my mate. They are torturing my friends. Why are we not attacking the Queen and the other prince?"  

"Jungkook, have patience-" 

"NO! DAD I WON'T! IT'S MY MATE-" 

"Jungkook I've heard enough of your 'mate' 'mate' 'mate'. Shut up! You will marry the princess of Zemeria!" Jungwoo shouted. 

Jungkook's eyes started to tear in anger, pain, and hurt. "Y-You asked me to shut up?"

"No. No Jungkook. My son. No!" Jungwoo quickly regretted. 

"I don't love her! I will not marry her!" He shouted as if he was announcing it.

"You will start to love her! You are going to listen to me! You will marry her!" Jungwoo commanded.

"I am not going to listen to you!" He stated making the older one burn into flames for disobeying his command.

"This is my final decision and I command you to follow my words!" Jungwoo made himself loud and clear!

"Stop playing with my life! I hate you!" The words 'I hate you' struck the older's ears and pierced his heart... Old memories started to hit him hard which made him soften at the other's words...

"I love you Jungkook! Please listen to me!"

"No! You don't! You don't even care about what I like and what I don't! Or what my opinion is! I am going away from you! Far away!"

"You are gonna stay here! You have to listen to me for your own good! You will not leave the Castel walls. I am protecting you!" Even though Jungwoo was trembling and almost breaking yet he made sure he did not show it on his face or through any means of expression.

"What are you protecting me from? I know what is good for me and what is not. You are not good for me! Everything you do is not good for me!"

"I love you! Understand!" Their argument started to heat up until the younger burst out loud with,

"I hate you for what you did to my family... Because of you, I am suffering. I have no one who loves me. I don't want this fake love of yours. You loved the Dark Queen and I guess you still do! You pick that woman over your son!" Leaving the older one into blank silence as his darkest nightmares come to life.

"Who told you-"

"You thought I will never come to know?" Jungkook furiously looked at him. There was pure pain and grief in his eyes. Which made the older feel as a thousand knife stabs in his heart.

"It's not what you think-" Jungwoo tried his best to explain.

"I hate everything about you and I don't wanna stay with a person like you... After ruining my everything... All my childhood and memories... My past and present... I won't let you control my future! After being a cheat don't think running away will make it any better for you. You sent my mother out of the kingdom for that woman! I don't have a mom because of you! You played with my feelings at the Dark Castle telling me that you will take me to my mother but you did it all so I don't get Y/n. The Dark Dynasty is torturing her. I am gonna fight for myself. I don't need you!

"You will never know what love is... Because you were never worth someone's true love."

"No Please! Just listen to me-"

"The beginning of the end has Begun!"

After stating this the younger one disappeared in thin air being covered in a huge ball of fire that could burn anything even a little closer to it. He disappeared, away from... Leaving Jungwoo heartbroken and guilty for his decisions...

But was it really a wrong decision he took?

Jeongukk ran to his mother's room to know the truth about this. He couldn't find her anywhere so he rushed to the library, where he found Evie reading some letters. 

"Gukk?" She looked at him and hid the letters. 

"What's that?" Jeongukk asked. 

"Nothing Gukkie." Evie responded. 

"Show it to me." 

"No Gukk. Its eomma's personal things. Tell me what do you want?" Evie responded covering the tears in her eyes. 

"What's personal between us eomma? Why are you acting like you are hiding something from me?" 

"What will I hide from you Gukkie?" 

"Then let me see that!" Jeongukk walked towards Evie looking right into her eyes as she tried to avoid eye contact. He slowly took the letters and read them one by one, his heart turned fragile than annealed glass. 

"Gukk-"

 "Just tell me if it's true..."

He shouted looking at her with tears that kept falling off his eyes because he couldn't stand all he just got to know.

"L-Look I-I can explain-" She tried to make him understand...

"It is self-explanatory! Just... Tell me... Why? Why did you keep this away from me? You kept me in darkness... You never told me what the truth is... You never let me enter that room... You never let me leave this place! You controlled my life like I never had my own feelings?" All the words he told were crushing her heart again...

But did she even deserve this?

"It's not like-"

"Like what? So you say this is all a lie? Lizzy noona was right! You indeed like that man who wants me dead, has my mate and all my friends. You left my father for this guy!? You can never understand love... Because you never truly loved someone!" He waved the letter in his hands, which Evie wrote for Jungwoo but never had the guts to send.

'How can I not truly love anyone... It's my true love which kept you alive' she thought to herself.

"N-No please listen to me!" She stated again hoping he would listen...

"Listen to your lie? Like you lied to me for so many years? After ruining my everything... All my childhood and memories... My past and present... I won't let you control my future!" All that pain was in his mind which controlled his hurting words were the lies and betrayal he got from the person he trusted the most. His anger made the books in the library shake like there was an earthquake.

"But- I love you?" Evie stated with tears in her eyes.

"You love me? You never did. I loved you... I loved you from all my heart. I respected you and followed everything you told me. I am going to face this myself. I am going to end it all!

"The beginning of the end has Begun!"

His entire body was covered in flames which could ruin everything he was around. The heat started to melt away the metallic showpieces in the library and the books were unintentionally set on fire with his uncontrollable powers. The letters in his hand turned into ashes with his eyes turning red, losing his control because of being emotionally unstable.

"Just listen to me for once... Just for once! Please!"

"There is nothing left to be heard or spoken about! That man will not be alive. I will burn down anything and everything he loves starting with the Prince of Light Dyansty-"

"Shut up Jeongukk before I make you!" Evie shouted in anger. 

"You want me to shut up for a dastard crook?" He scoffed. 

"How dare you say that!" Evie slapped him tight as Jeongukk's eyes soften and his fragile heart was broken once again.
