Harry, Heather and I went to Diagon Alley. My mom said we were old enough to go by ourselves, and we can protect Harry, which he obviously didn't need any help. I met up with Maria and Sherryl, and I just sort of saw the Weasley twins. Remembering what happened last time we met, Fred blushed, they talked to their mom, and she somehow let them go. Harry rejoined Hermione and Ron, and everything was good.
"So, how was everyone's summer?" I asked.
"Oh, can I start?" Heather said.
"So Aby and I went to the forest, you know, the place with a lot of trees. So we went camping, and I caught a bird, and Aby's mother would be really mad if she found out so I ate the bird and didn't tell anyone.
"Um, I knew that!" I raised my hand.
"I know you did," Heather said.
"I need to go to Ollivanders really quickly, I need to polish my wand," I said and ran to the wandmakers shop. "Mr. Ollivander?" I called in the empty store.
"Ah, Miss Black. A pleasure to see you again, do you need anything?"
"Um, yes how much does wand polish cost."
"Two Galleons," Mr. Ollivander said. "Anything else?"
"No, that's it," I said and put two galleons on his desk.
He handed me the wand polish and asked. "Seven inches, sycamore wood, and dragon heartstring?"
I nod, smiling.
"You have a very powerful and unusual wand, Miss Black, use it wisely." Ollivander smiled and disappeared in the store.
"Thank you!" I said putting my polish in my school bag and exited the shop.
"Well?" Sherryl asked.
"I got the polish!" I put the container filled with polish in the air. I put it back in my bag and we continued shopping. I bought a new tie for myself because I believe Cinnami scratched it up. 'Or maybe it was me.' I thought, extending my cat claws and changing them back. I can ask someone what this means. I bought my Ravenclaw tie and put it on. I got three additional books that we were supposed to get in the fourth year, but I do what I want. I want to rejoin dueling club and know more than I can.
"I like your shoes," Someone said as she passed by me. I looked at my feet. I had pitch black shoes and they had silver glitter on them here and there.
"Thanks," I said. I realized who I was talking to. "Leah!" I hugged her. "Did you get my letters? Did I get your letters? How are Snowy and Dawn?" I filled her up with questions.
"I got your letters, you got my letters because you replied to them, Snowy is on my head, and Dawn had kittens over the summer!" Leah said.
"Oh, good to know! See you on the train. You can see Swishy if you want to."
"Yay! I missed her!" Leah said. "See you on the train, I gotta go!"
"Ok bye!" I called.
"Bye! Not now Snowy, I have your food in my backpack, I will take it out on the train." Leah said. Snowy chirped. "I said LATER!" Leah said, annoyed.
I laughed. It's good to be friends with Leah.
