Summary:

People always talk about the relationship between the eldest daughter and the eldest son. But no one talks about the eldest daughter and youngest son. And this is the story of the eldest daughter and youngest son. One is the eldest in the family, and one is the eldest in age.

She is the eldest daughter of her family with an unhealed inner child who longs for love and acceptance but never asks for it. She is strong, brave, and determined to overcome any obstacle in her way. But her soul is exhausting and weary from carrying the weight of her past burdens and family expectations.

She has always given up her dreams in order to fulfill the expectations placed upon her, sacrificing her own happiness for the sake of her family. She just wants someone to see her for who she truly is and to love her unconditionally. But she feels like she must always put on a facade of strength and independence to protect herself from getting hurt.

He is the youngest of his family, with a wise soul that often goes unnoticed by those around him. He always smiles, even when he is struggling inside. He might be the youngest in his family, but he has to take care of everyone else's needs before his own because he is the eldest of everyone else. But all he knows is to put others first and always be there for them, no matter what.

He can't remember the last time he did something for himself. But he likes to have someone else to rely on, someone who can always be counted on. Who can be more than just a friend that can pull him out of his abyss when he's drowning? And he wants to be the same for them.

Jin Soo-yeon, a hidden poet, works as a Deputy Head manager at KNJ Food Company, where she always finds solace in the simple lines she writes and publishes online. The eldest child of her family, who carries the responsibility of taking care of her single mom, who is the high school teacher, and her sibling Jin Mi-yeon, who is working as an employee, Mi-yeon, as the second elder sister of the family, helps with Soo-yeon to take care of the younger children and manage the household chores and their aunt's children, Ma Rae-joong and Ma Ga-young, who are studying their high school years.

Yet Soo-yeon has the most responsibility in the household. She always kept herself busy from dawn until dusk, making sure everything was running smoothly. She rarely has any time for herself, which she craves more but never wants and complains about. But there is a person beside Mi-yeon who knows more about Soo-yeon than anyone else: Pae Myung-sook, her only best friend since high school. They have been through everything together and share a deep bond that cannot be broken. Still, Soo-yeon always struggles to open up and share her true feelings with Myung-sook, keeping a lot bottled up inside.

Kim Seok-jin, who works as a senior manager of the same department at the company. The cheerful and hardworking man was always willing to lend a helping hand. The youngest child of his family with the wisest soul, who, taking care of his young cousin Jeon Jungkook, who lost his parents in a tragic accident, has become his top priority.

Despite his own busy schedule, Kim Seok-jin always finds time to mentor and support Jungkook in any way he can. Jin, who always keeps smiling like a moonbeam in the night sky. But even the beaming moon has its dark side, and Jin is no exception.

His goofiness always masked deeper pain and loneliness that he rarely shared with others. He always felt like he was in an abyss, constantly searching for something to fill the void within him. There is a person for him, the one who knows him better. Kim Namjoon, his friend, is the CEO of the company where he works. Namjoon's understanding and support him. But Jin never fully opens up to him, keeping his struggles hidden behind his bright smile.

As a senior manager, he has always taken good care of his. But one particular person always stood out to him as none other than Soo-yeon, the team leader in his department. From day one he met her, she always had a smile on her face. Always worked hard, taking fewer leaves, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Jin admired her for that, but he could feel something was always different. As if she was trying to run away from something. Despite his efforts to get closer to her, she always maintained a professional distance. Jin couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to Soo-yeon's story than met the eye.

Jin's emotions came out when he saw a poem of an unknown author (Soo-yeon), which brought tears to his eyes, resonating with the feelings he had been suppressing for so long. And one particular day Jin finds out that the author is none other than the person he admires, Soo-yeon. As he read more of her poetry, Jin realized that Soo-yeon was using her words to express the emotions she couldn't share in person.

And he eventually started falling for her, which he hid from Soo-yeon, and Soo-yeon, on the other hand, slowly started to feel something for Jin as they started growing closer, but she is quite afraid to admit that.

Will Jin and Soo-yeon muster the courage to admit their flaws and confess their hearts to each other? Can Soo-yeon break free from the expectations that have held her back and finally pursue the dreams she's kept buried for so long? Their intertwined paths hang in the balance, leaving the final question: How will their story end?  Let's find out.
