Kasumi is inside the Healing Palace with Ankara and Maraza helping them take care of the people injured from the demon soldiers attacking and decided to bring along Abuza, Gretanzu and Zandai.

Zandai: I still don't understand why we had to come for this

Kasumi: Tetsuya is usually able to handle the Healing Palace by herself and with a few interns but there were dozens of people injured by Xian's army so I volunteered to help

Abuza helps by bringing ice water to the injured and help Tetsuya sort out medical supplies. Later Tetsuya gets a call from a town with people who were injured by the demon soldiers. Tetsuya sends Ankara and Maraza to take care of them and Kasumi, Abuza, Zandai and Gretanzu go with them. They take an airship to get to the town because it is over water and far away. Maraza pilots the ship while Ankara and the others are passengers. Ankara turns around and sees Zandai asleep in his seat.

Ankara: I thought it was too quiet. I'd expect to hear some complaining by now

Kasumi: It's so much more peaceful now

The town isn't big enough for Maraza to land the airship there so she lands the ship in a grassland nearby.

Maraza: It looks like we're walking from here

Zandai: Are you serious?! You're telling me we have to walk all the way down there and carry all these heavy medical supplies?

Abuza: Zandai complaining isn't going to change anything. You should have learned that by now. When are you ever gonna grow up?!

Abuza grabs some medical supplies and angrily exits the airship.

Gretanzu: He's more moodier than usual

Kasumi: Zandai did you do something to him?

Zandai: I didn't do anything

Kasumi: Hmm

Zandai: I didn't I swear

They head into a clinic full of injured people. Ankara and Maraza begin to heal most of the injured and sick but they are then interrupted when they get an urgent call to the back.

Woman: No you shouldn't treat me first you should go take care of the woman who's expecting

Zandai: Expecting? What does she mean by that?

Maraza: Where is she?

Woman: They gave her a room by herself to keep her stress level down so she won't go into labor too soon

Ankara and Maraza find out where the pregnant woman's room is. Ankara and Maraza walk into the room by themselves and shut the door.

Pregnant Woman: Who are you?

Ankara: We're the volunteer healers the clinic called for

Maraza: Are you alright? Have you felt any contractions yet?

Pregnant Woman: No

Ankara: She looks like she could give birth at any minute

The others are standing in front of the door, Zandai stands with his arms folded with an upset face. Ankara opens the door.

Ankara: You guys can come in now

The others walk into the room.

Kasumi: Aww. She's having a baby, do you if its gonna be a boy or a girl

Pregnant Woman: Unfortunately no, but I love a surprise

Zandai: Where's the dad?

Kasumi smacks Zandai in the face.

Zandai: Oww! What was that for?!

Kasumi: You don't just blurt out a question like that! That was the most rudest thing ever!

Pregnant Woman: I can tell you why he's not here. It doesn't offend me at all

The others look at the pregnant woman simultaneously as she tells her story.

Pregnant Woman: We dated for a while. Everything was just wonderful, he was a good man and I thought we were perfect together. But then when he found out I was pregnant he completely changed. He started saying things like he wasn't ready for a child and wanting to break up with me. When the demon soldiers showed up and raided our town he was killed along with a few others

Everyone stares with pity looks on their faces.

Ankara: I'm so sorry

Pregnant Woman: It's fine. I just hate that my child is gonna have to grow up without a father. It'll be worse if it's a boy because boys need that male role model in their lives. Well even if he was still alive I doubt he would be in my child's life anyways considering his reaction when he found out I was expecting

Abuza walks out of the room.

Kasumi: Abuza

Kasumi calls out to Abuza but he ignores her and keeps walking. Abuza stands outside on the clinic balcony. Kasumi follows him.

Kasumi: Are you okay Abuza?

Abuza: I'm fine. You guys don't need to worry about me

Kasumi: You've been in a bad mood all week, it's not like you if something's wrong you can tell me

Abuza: It's not like you or anyone else could ever understand

Kasumi: But Abuza—

Abuza: I don't want to talk about this anymore

Abuza walks back into the clinic. Kasumi walks back into the pregnant woman's room. Ankara is putting a ice cold towel on the woman's forehead.

Pregnant Woman: Aggh! The contractions are starting!

Zandai: Yeah... I'm out

Zandai tries to leave the room but Kasumi grabs the back of his shirt.

Kasumi: No.. Ankara is there anything you need us to do?

Ankara: We need gloves, sanitizers, towels, and a baby cart. And a bucket of warm water now!

Kasumi: We're on it

Kasumi looks at Zandai and Gretanzu.

Kasumi: Well don't just stand there move it!

Meanwhile Abuza sits by a lake near the clinic with flashbacks on his past as a child. He sees a flashback from when he was living with his mother's friend Mai. Mai comes home late and Abuza was left at home hungry.

Abuza: Where were you? I'm hungry

Mai walks pass Abuza and doesn't say anything.

Abuza: Mai? Mai! Why are you ignoring me?

Mai: Look you want dinner you'll get it when I'm ready! Just leave me alone! You're so annoying!

Abuza stares.

Mai: I don't have the patience for little spoil children. That's why I don't plan on having any of my own any time soon

Abuza: But all the other kids have eaten by now

Mai: Ok look how about tomorrow I drop you off in dirty orphanage where they eat nothing but slime goop for dinner

Abuza: No!

Mai: Then keep quiet and stop complaining. Keep bothering me like that and that's the place you'll be

Abuza stops reminiscing and stares at the lake trying to clear his mind. Meanwhile Kasumi, Zandai and Gretanzu deliver the supplies to Ankara and Maraza.

Maraza: Her water just broke 5 minutes ago. Everyone out now!

Zandai is the last one out but he leaves the door open.

Ankara: And close the door behind you!

Zandai closes the door.

Maraza: Ok 1,2,3--

Kasumi, Zandai and Gretanzu hear the woman screaming from the other side of the door.

Zandai: Ooo now that has got to hurt

Later the sun starts to set and Abuza walks back into the clinic.

Kasumi: Abuza come see this quick!

Abuza: What is it?

Kasumi grabs Abuza's arm.

Kasumi: Just come on

They walk into the room and see the woman holding her newborn baby girl.

Ankara: Oh she's so cute!

Zandai: It's so tiny

Gretanzu: Because it's a baby genius

Maraza: What are you gonna name her?

Woman: I want to name her Aoi

Ankara: That's a pretty name

Zandai: It's pretty small

Kasumi grabs Zandai's ear.

Zandai: Oww!

Kasumi: Shut up already! You've got the most rudest mouth ever you know that

Woman: I really appreciate you guys for your help. It's a shame you guys are leaving tonight

Ankara: We're not going anywhere, besides there's still other people that need us here. If you need any please don't hesitate to ask

Zandai: What?!

Kasumi slaps Zandai making him spin over and fall to the ground.

Everyone laughs.

The next morning Ankara and Maraza are helping the woman take care of the baby. They need supplies like baby milk, formula, clothes and blankets. They send Abuza, Gretanzu and Zandai to go shopping through the town.

Zandai: Can't believe they sent us baby shopping

Abuza: Zandai it's a newborn baby and newborn babies need things. You expect it to just fall right out of the sky?

Gretanzu: He does have a point

Zandai: I'm not saying the baby shouldn't get anything I just hate we have to do it

Abuza: *sigh*

They go to a store and get the supplies. They walk out of the store to see a guy being harassed.

Harasser: You're nothing but a homeless street thug! Give me all your money and I'll let you go without any injuries

Guy: I'm not giving you a dime

Harasser: You want it the hard way then I'll just give it to you!

The harasser attacks the guy with his sword but the guy flips the sword out of his hand easily and knocks him to the ground and puts his sword near his neck.

Harasser: It's over! You win!

Guy: Now get out of here before I give you some injuries

The harasser runs away. Abuza, Gretanzu, and Zandai watched the whole thing.

Guy: What are you three bozos looking at?

Abuza: Bozos?

Zandai walks up to him.

Zandai: That was so cool the way you beat that guy without even trying. And you snagged this cool sword from him. What's your name?

Taaru: The names Taaru how about you kid?

Zandai: Hey how about you that rhymes

Abuza and Gretanzu are in the background making cartoonish faces. Zandai clears his throat.

Zandai: I'm Zandai and this is Abuza and Gretanzu

Taaru: Oh...kay. Which ones which?

Zandai: The one with the ponytail is Abuza and the one with the headband and sword on his back is Gretanzu

Taaru: Oh okay

Gretanzu: So are you really homeless?

Taaru: Yeah. Fight to get by everyday so what

Zandai: You should come with us!

Abuza & Gretanzu: Huh?

Zandai: Fighting skills like that you'd be perfect for our team. So what do say?

Abuza: Zandai we don't even know this guy. There's no telling what kind of ill intentions he could have up his sleeve

Gretanzu: Abuza has a point

Taaru takes some time to think.

Taaru: Tell ya what I'll give it a trial run. If I like it I'll stay

Abuza: Try anything funny and you'll regret

Taaru: Heh that's supposed to be a threat?

Gretanzu: Kasumi is not going to be happy about this. You know how she is when comes to recruiting new people

They walk back to the clinic.

Taaru: You guys live in a clinic?

Zandai: No we're just taking care of the people who were injured when the demon soldiers attacked

Taaru: Oh that's what those things are called? Fighting them used to be my morning workout

Abuza: Thoses things were nothing to you?

Zandai: See this is why we need you! We could use some extra muscle around here

Taaru: So are there any girls part of this group?

Zandai: Yeah, why?

Taaru: Hmm

Abuza and Gretanzu make cartoonish faces.

Zandai: Woah I don't think you'd want to date any of them. They can be pretty vicious

They make make their way back to the clinic. They walk into the new mother's room and give her the baby stuff.

Woman: Thank you so much. I really appreciate it

Ankara: Who's this guy you got with you?

Zandai: Oh this is Taaru. We saw him manhandle this creep and I thought it would be great if he joined us

Kasumi: Hey we don't just go pick up any stranger we find off the street. You never know what his intentions could be. For all we know he could be some kind of secret terrorist!

Gretanzu: Isn't it funny how Abuza literally just said the same thing

Zandai: He isn't I promise

Kasumi: Oh yeah and how would you know? You just met him

Taaru pulls out his wallet and gives Kasumi his ID card.

Ankara and Maraza look at the ID card.

Ankara: We would have seen his name in the criminal records if he was a bad guy

Zandai: You'd spend your time reading criminal records? You really have no life do you?

Ankara looks at Zandai with a vicious look.

Zandai: Come on Kasumi. When we met Abuza you trusted him and he turned out to be a saint. Why not Taaru? Besides he's homeless

Kasumi feels a bit of pity for Taaru.

Kasumi: Alright fine he can join us. But one bad move and I'll--

Zandai: You'll what?

Kasumi: *sigh* Just don't do anything stupid!

Later they all pack up and get ready to leave. Everyone gets on the airship.

Taaru: Wow

Zandai: First time on an airship?

Taaru: Yeah it's pretty nice

Zandai: Just wait till you see what our house looks like

The airship takes off into the air.

Night falls and Ankara lands the airship in their families garage.

Taaru: So this is where you live?

Zandai: No this is Ankara and Maraza's the two girls with the bun hairstyles

Taaru: So where do you guys live?

Zandai: We're heading there now

They get to the house.

Zandai: Oh no! I think dropped the key somewhere!

Kasumi: Are you serious?!

Zandai pulls the key out of his pocket.

Zandai: Just kidding!

Zandai opens the door.

Zandai: We're home

Taaru: This place is nice. It's well decorated

Kasumi: Ok if you going to live here you gotta be clean. No dirty dishes no dirty laundry lying around. When you walk on the carpet with shoes vacuum. And another thing you really need to use the shower you stink!

Zandai: He was living on the streets of course he's gonna smell bad

Taaru takes a shower. Kasumi is cleaning the kitchen and putting away dishes. Taaru walks in with a towel wrapped around himself.

Taaru: What am I supposed to wear to bed?

Kasumi: Oh right I forgot about that. Zandai don't you have some extra tank tops and shorts

Zandai: Yeah I'll give him some I don't mind

Taaru: What about my dirty clothes?

Kasumi walks into the bathroom and makes a cartoonish disgusted face while her hair fizzes up when she smells the foul smelling clothes. Kasumi instantly tosses the clothes into the garbage.

Taaru: Where am I sleeping?

Zandai: There's an extra room but it's filled with Kasumi's junk

Kasumi: It used to be my parents room but I'll clean it out and you can have it

Kasumi cleans out most of the material and gives Taaru the bed. The next morning Kasumi takes Taaru shopping for new clothes.

Taaru: I need new clothes? What's wrong with my other outfit

Kasumi: Uhh no offense but if you walked around with that on people would look at you like you're an animal. And besides I threw those clothes away they smelled horrible

Taaru finds the perfect outfit and they head back to the house. Taaru is about to go into the house but sees Abuza sitting at the waterfall cliff.

Taaru: What's he doing over there?

Kasumi: Oh he just goes there when he has a lot on his mind

They walk into the house and Zandai wants to show Taaru about the city. Later Abuza, Kasumi, Taaru, Zandai and Gretanzu walk around the city. They walk by a festival with a sign that says opens tomorrow.

Zandai: Hey there's a festival opening tomorrow

Gretanzu: It's 15yos per person

Zandai: That's more than affordable

As they walk Abuza notices that the others haven't been acknowledging him since Taaru showed up. And Taaru doesn't even seem to have any interest in Abuza whatsoever. Meanwhile something sinister is unraveling at an abandoned castle not too far away from the city.
