The demon soldiers spot them and let out a roar and start jumping from the rooftops and attacking. One jumps at Abuza but he punches it with his brute strength. Kasumi shoots a blast right through one of the soldier's chest. Zandai clashes swords with two soldiers simultaneously. They defeat a few of the demon soldiers but more come out of the alley left from right.

Abuza: There's too many of them!

Kasumi: Everyone stand back!

Kasumi creates a giant sphere of light purple energy and it bursts into smoke. When the smoke clears they are gone. The woman in the hoodie comes out angry because they got away. They escape through an underground passage.

Zandai: It's so dark in here. Ah! What just brushed across my foot?!

Kasumi uses her power as a light and so does Abuza.

They see that they are inside of a tunnel with electric wires on the ground.

Gretanzu: Don't you think this is a little...

Kasumi: A little what?

Gretanzu: What if one of these wires electrocutes us?!

Ankara: Just watch where you step and you'll be fine. This is the only safe way through the city without being detected by those things

Zandai: Hey Kasumi when did you learn how to do that? You really gave them a run for their money

Kasumi: It takes time and practice. I focus on improving my skills with my free time, something you should do more often

Zandai: You're not the only one who has tricks hidden up your sleeves you know

Kasumi: Oh yeah? What new moves have you learned then?

Zandai: You'll see

They make their way to the end of the underground tunnel.

Gretanzu: It's too quiet

Ankara: Gee I wonder why, we're only in the other side of the city where the soldiers haven't reached yet

Gretanzu: Ok no need to be rude

Suddenly an arrow almost hits Gretanzu's foot.

Gretanzu: Ah!

A group of survivors aim bow and arrows at them.

Survivor 1: Put your hands up and don't even think about doing anything sneaky!

Zandai: Oh you got some nerve threatening us do you have any idea what we're capable of? You and your little toy arrows are nothing to us

Kasumi: Shut up Zandai and let me handle this

Kasumi walks up to the survivors.

Kasumi: We don't mean you any harm. We're just trying to cross through the city

Survivor 2: Yeah? For what?! To take out more citizens and turn them into monsters

Zandai: They think we're with the demon army?! Why I'll shove one of those arrows right up your--

Ankara grabs Zandai and covers his mouth.

Kasumi: We're not part of the Akuma Sensou we just want to cross

Survivor 3: Akuma Sensou what is that?

Survivor 2 whispers in Survivor 3's ear.

They immediately start shooting arrows.

Gretanzu: What did you say wrong?!

Zandai screams while Ankara is still covering his mouth.

Kasumi creates a force field protecting everyone from the arrows.

Zandai: See you trying to sweet talk them only made things worse!

Abuza leaves the force field and shoots power blast at survivors shooting arrows. They then aim their fire at Abuza but he dodges all of the arrows and breaks a few of them with his bare hands. Abuza then shoots a power blast at the foundation the survivors are standing on making it collapses causing the survivors to fall. Abuza walks toward one of the fallen survivors.

Survivor 2: Now!

The survivor signals for an attack on Abuza. A couple of survivors from a rooftop catapult a massive boulder at Abuza. The survivors watch anxiously. Abuza shatters the boulder with one punch. The survivors look in shock.

Rooftop Survivor 1: This kid is a monster

Rooftop Survivor 2: This is too dangerous we need to get reinforcements now!

Rooftop Survivor 1: That won't do any good that kid will just smash them into bits

Rooftop Survivor 3: Retreat!

All of the survivors flee the area.

Zandai: Woah. Good thing we had good ole Abuza to give em a scare

Maraza: Yeah but now they'll think we're just as bad as those demon soldiers. We're here to calm the panic not be the panic

Zandai: Who cares they started it

Abuza feels a bit guilty.

Kasumi: Now Maraza you can't blame Abuza they launched the first attack and if he hadn't been here someone would have got hurt

Ankara: Well we can't do anything but keep moving in this direction

They all start walking while their being watched from a distance by a demon but it is not a soldier.

They cross even farther into the city and find an abandoned house when the sun sets.

Zandai: Look a place to crash

Zandai runs toward the house but Ankara grabs the back his shirt collar.

Ankara: No we're not going to just barge in there. What if someone lives here?

Gretanzu sees a for sale sign.

Gretanzu: There's a for sale sign right next to the door

Kasumi and Ankara look at each other and Kasumi shrugs her shoulders. The door has big lock on it.

Zandai: Aggh! This thing won't budge!

Gretanzu: This is something Abuza should do he's the one with all the muscle around here

Kasumi: You guys are relying on Abuza way too much I think you should give him a break

Zandai: Oh sorry Princess Sugar Cakes

Abuza: I'll do it, no big deal

Abuza tears the lock off the door and everyone heads inside. Zandai tries to cut on the light.

Zandai: This light doesn't work

Maraza: None of the lights work because no has bought this house for them to turn on the electricity

Kasumi: And we have to sleep on the floor with the dust mites great

Ankara: There's no telling how long it's been since this house has been cleaned

Everyone sleeps on their backpacks on the floor. Abuza has a dream about the hooded woman killing all his friends and coming after him. Abuza gets scared and wakes up. The next day everyone goes out to get something to eat before leaving to investigate the Akuma Sensou. They walk into a restaurant and order.
Abuza finishes his food and leaves but Gretanzu stops him.

Gretanzu: Where are you going? You just gonna leave Kasumi over there by herself?

Abuza looks at Kasumi and blushes.

Gretanzu: You can stop trying to hide it. We all know about your little crush on Kasumi

Abuza blushes even more.

Abuza: She knows too?!

Gretanzu: No no just me and Zandai and Ankara and Maraza

Abuza: Ah! How did they find out?! They're gonna tell her for sure!

Gretanzu: They won't they already promised. You're just lucky they're the mature ones of this group. But Zandai is already taking care of your issue

Abuza: What?!!

Gretanzu: Shhh!

Gretanzu and Abuza sneak to a table near Kasumi to hear Zandai ask her about Abuza.

Zandai: So I see you enjoy Blossom Rose Tea?

Kasumi: Uh yeah. Are you feeling okay you're acting a little weirder than usual

Zandai: Oh I just wanted to ask you some questions

Kasumi: Okay....

Zandai: So what do think of Abuza?

Kasumi: He's a sweet and pure hearted person. Not to mention he has a great personality has a passion for keeping the people around him safe. He's just an amazing soul

Abuza smiles and blushes.

Gretanzu: Awww

Zandai: Hmm. Would you ever I don't know date him and be his girlfriend?

Abuza gets nervous and blushes even more.

Gretanzu: Straight to the point, I like that

Kasumi: To be honest I can only see Abuza as a friend. I mean I'm not saying he's not date worthy it just that I don't have romantic feelings for him

Zandai: None at all?

Kasumi shakes her head no.

Zandai: Oh yeah then ask him out and see what happens

Kasumi: Zandai I'd be lying if I said I wanted Abuza to be my boyfriend or something now can we talk about something else now? If this is all you're going to keep talking about then can you please leave and let me enjoy my tea in peace

Abuza gets upset and runs out of the restaurant.

Gretanzu: Abuza wait!

Zandai gets up.

Zandai: I don't have any more questions. You can relax and finish your flower juice

Kasumi: It's Blossom Rose Tea!

Zandai: Whatever

Zandai walks out.

Zandai: Well that went smoothly, I hope Abuza didn't take it too hard

Abuza runs away and climbs onto a rooftop balcony. Later when the sun starts to set Gretanzu and Zandai finally find him.

Zandai: *Pant* Do you know how long it took us to climb up here?! How did you even get up here?! *Pant*

Abuza: It was easy

Gretanzu: Look everyone's ready to go but we can't leave without you

Abuza: Hm

Gretanzu: I know what Kasumi said hurt but I'm sure you'll find someone else special one day

Abuza: Don't give me that old one day speech. It doesn't matter if you think positive or negative what ever happens is going to happen and there's no changing that

Gretanzu: Abuza--

Zandai grabs Abuza.

Zandai: Come on old buddy I know just the thing to heal that broken heart. A little walk and talk with some show tunes by yours truly!

Gretanzu: Oh here we go again

Zandai starts singing.

Zandai: "When you got the strength of a monster you take your fists and pound away." "I know things went rough but it'll be alright today." "Take a long old stroll down monster street and I'll show you just how to play."

Abuza: Zandai if that's supposed to make me feel better it's not working

Zandai: Lighten up have a little sense of humor

The next day Ankara and Maraza lead everyone to a mountain full of catacombs near the city.

Zandai: Where are we going? I thought we heading to the source not away from it

Ankara: We are heading to the source well you wouldn't know where we're going. Oh I forget you don't have the sensory ability

Zandai: Here it goes when she starts acting all stuck up again

They reach the entrance.

Abuza: This is the entrance?

Zandai: Looks like it

Kasumi: Ew! It's all covered in spider webs!

Gretanzu cuts the webs down with his sword.

Gretanzu: It's gone now

Ankara and Maraza light torches and give one to Abuza and Kasumi. Everyone enters the catacombs. The catacombs are filled with old blades and worn out armor.

Gretanzu: Look at this stuff

Zandai: Looks more like a mummy's tomb if you ask me

Ankara stumbles across a wall with writing on it.

Ankara: *Gasp*

Maraza: What is it?

The wall is carved with ancient writings from the first Akuma Sensou.

Zandai: How are you reading this without falling asleep?

Ankara continues to read the wall.

Ankara: No way. How is it possible for anyone to hold that kind of power and control it with such ease?

Zandai: What power? What are you two mumbling about over there?

Zandai walks towards Ankara and Maraza and accidentally steps on a trap mechanism. The catacombs start to shake and rumble.

Gretanzu: That doesn't sound good

Ankara: We got to get out of here now! Quick back to the entrance!

They run quickly back to the catacombs entrance as the floor shakes under their feet. Ankara, Maraza and Zandai make it out of the catacombs but when Abuza, Kasumi and Gretanzu get to the entrance a stone door shuts them traps them inside.

Gretanzu: Now what are we gonna do?

Abuza: I'll just smash us out

Abuza balls up his fist and punches the wall but it doesn't even make a scratch and he ends up hurting his fist.

Abuza: Oww!

Gretanzu: Oh come on!

Kasumi touches the wall.

Kasumi: This isn't ordinary stone. It's made out of some kind of dark energy

The ground suddenly opens up like a trap door and Abuza, Kasumi, and Gretanzu fall right in.
Ankara, Maraza and Zandai hear them scream from the other side.

Ankara: Abuza! Gretanzu! Kasumi!
No ones answering!

The clouds turn black as if a bad storm was coming. Meanwhile Abuza, Kasumi and Gretanzu fall down a dark tunnel, they hold hands to keep from being separated. They go farther down and they are pulled apart from each other by an unknown force and drop down in separate dungeons. Meanwhile Ankara, Maraza and Zandai are confronted by the hooded woman and a group of demon soldiers. Zandai protects the sisters.

Zandai: Stay behind me!

Abuza gets up to find himself inside a dark deserted dungeon.

Abuza: Kasumi! Gretanzu! Hello?!
Anyone?

Abuza hears a metal thump and sees a creature shaped like a person come out of the dark and make growling noises. This scared Abuza more than anything. Abuza tries his best to ignore his fear and sneak pass the creature without being spotted. On Kasumi's side it is even darker causing her to have to use her power as a light.

Kasumi: Abuza? Gretanzu?

Kasumi sees she is alone.

Kasumi: Where am I?

Kasumi shines her light and sees that the room she is in was used to summon dark creatures from the demon realm.

Kasumi: This place is bad like really bad. I got have to find the others and find a way out of here quick

Kasumi walks and steps on a skull and screams.

On Gretanzu's side he is tangled in some old rope he fell in when he dropped down from the tunnel.

Gretanzu: Let me go you stupid ugly rope!

Gretanzu finally reaches for his sword and cuts himself out. When Gretanzu gets out of the rope he sees a little dog in front of him.

Gretanzu: Hey what are you doing in here little guy?

Gretanzu walks toward the dog then it transforms into a demon hound and chases after him. Meanwhile the hooded woman comes after Ankara, Maraza and Zandai.

Maraza: Who are you?! Why are you doing this?!

Hooded Woman: Hehe. I'll tell you who I am.

The woman takes off her hood cloak.

Xian: My name is Xian Himiko

Zandai: It doesn't matter who you are I'm gonna start using you as my new punching bag if you don't us where our friends are!

Xian: Haha! Don't make me laugh with that little toy. You know little boys shouldn't be playing with oversized kitchen knives

Zandai charges at Xian. Inside the dungeon Abuza is being chased by a group of demon creatures and none of his power blast seem to have any affect on them. Abuza climbs onto a pillar and jumps into another room and shuts the door behind him and keeps running. Gretanzu is tackled by the demon hound and it starts sucking the energy out of him. Kasumi starts searching for Abuza and Gretanzu but makes her way into a giant room lit by dark purple flames on the wall.

Xian: Hmph. So you're even more clever than I thought you were

Kasumi: Huh?

Xian: You're the only one out of the three who made it this far

Kasumi looks and sees Xian sitting on top of a throne.

Xian: Since you're the only one here I guess I'll just take pleasure in killing you

Xian walks off the throne and throws a dark power disc at Kasumi. Ankara and Maraza fight the demon soldiers and knock some of them off the cliff while Zandai goes head to head with Xian.

Xian: I can see a strong will to fight in your eyes. Soon I'll turn it into terror and fear!

Zandai: We'll see about that!

Zandai uses his chains technique to wrap chains around Xian's legs.

Xian: *Gasp*

Zandai takes that opportunity to pierce is sword through Xian's abdomen.

Xian: Wahhh!

Xian's body suddenly turns pitch black.

Zandai: What?

Xian's body starts to bubble and melt like a wax figure. Ankara senses what's going on.

Ankara: Zandai get away from her! That isn't the real one it's a fake! Her body is going to explode!

Zandai pulls his sword out of the fake and jumps back and it explodes.

Zandai: *Cough*(2x)

Maraza: Is everyone alright?

Zandai: Yeah I guess so. What just happened anyway?

Ankara: That woman Xian, she made a double of herself and infused it with some dark energy causing it to self destruct

Maraza: The real one has to be around here somewhere

Zandai: Where could she be?
