Save Me, Please
Miu's POV
Where am I? I looked around until I spotted my body in a hospital bed with Isuke curled up beside me. Oh, I get it. I'm dead, aren't I? No, because I'm still here. But I know I won't last much longer. I had a feeling my time would come sooner or later.
It's probably for the best. What should I do until my time is up? I guess I could roam around until I slip away. I sighed sadly as I floated to the Hokage Mountain. I left my journal up there and I want to see if it's where I left it. But when I got there, my journal was gone.
Where'd it go? I guess the wind must've carried it off. Well, I won't be needing it anymore since I'll be dying soon. I floated to the Akatsuki base and went into a random room. I saw Sasori carving a puppet out of wood.
I wonder how he's going to feel once he finds out his cousin will be dead? I decided to give him a hug before I move on. Even though he won't feel it, I still want to be with him one more time. I floated over to him and wrapped my arms around his neck.
"Goodbye, Sasori. I'll miss you." I said, resting the side of my head on his temple. "I love you." I whispered. I floated towards the wall, and into some other room. When I saw Itachi, I knew I was in his room. He sat at his desk as he read a book.
"Itachi... It looks like we won't be able to fight each other again. I'm sorry." I said with a sad smile. Tears began to leave my eyes.
"I'm such an idiot. I was foolish to think I could be happy. I'm such a naïve, ugly, stupid, worthless ninja who deserves to rot in Hell. Heaven isn't even the place for me." I said as I wiped my eyes. Itachi looked up from his book and turned his head towards me.
Can he see me? "Who's there?" He demanded. I continued to cry. There's no point in trying to be quiet when he can see nor hear me. Itachi looked around the room before activating his Sharingan.
He looked around the room again until his eyes landed on me. "Miu?" Itachi said. I gasped. He can see me? "Itachi." I answered. "What happened to you?" He asked me. "I jumped off the Hokage Mountain." I answered.
"You committed suicide?"
"Yes. I'm sorry. At the moment, it looks like I'm in a coma. For now, it looks like I'm a ghost. At least until my heart stops beating."
"No, you're not a ghost."
"What?"
"You're in an astral projection. You're not dead yet."
I looked at my feet. "I see. How long do I have?" I asked him. "At least a few more hours." Itachi answered. I smiled sadly. "Oh, well. Tell Sasori that I said goodbye." I said as I turned around. "Where are you going?" Itachi asked.
"To the Hokage Mountain. I want to enjoy the sunset one more time. Goodbye, Itachi." I said before floating towards the door. "Wait," I stopped. "Maybe there's a way to save you." He said. "How?" I asked, facing him.
"I'll go to Sasori. Maybe he has an antidote."
"I doubt that."
"Don't give up, Miu. There's still time."
Itachi got up and walked out of the room, heading to Sasori's room. I followed behind him. "Sasori," Itachi said as he walked in his room without knocking. "What do you want, Itachi? I'm busy." Sasori said, annoyed.
"It's Miu. She's dying." Itachi said. Sasori paused and looked at him. "Don't make jokes with me, Uchiha." He said, coldly. "I'm not joking. Miu jumped off the Hokage Mountain and now she's in an astral projection." Itachi explained.
"How do you know all this?" Sasori demanded as he narrowed his eyes at him. "Because she's right here. You can't see her, but I can, with my Sharingan." Itachi explained. "Miu, what the hell were you thinking? Why did you try to kill yourself?" Sasori demanded.
"I'm sorry. I got beat up by my old classmates. I couldn't deal with the pain anymore. I thought dying was the only way I could escape the abuse. I'm sorry." I apologized.
"She said her classmates beat her up and she thought dying was the only way she could escape her abuse. She didn't want to feel pain anymore." Itachi translated. Sasori sighed heavily before pinching the bridge of his nose, rubbing his eyes with thumb and pointer fingers.
"What's her condition?" Sasori asked Itachi. "She's in a coma." He answered. Sasori frowned before looking at his wood carving.
"If it's not too late, I can make an antidote that will get you to wake up. However, you won't wake up right away. You'll wake up in two days." Sasori explained. I smiled. "Thank you, Sasori." I said softly.
"Miu says thank you." Itachi translated. "But there's a catch. Miu, I want you to promise me that you'll never do something like that again. Don't ever try to commit suicide again." Sasori said sternly. "I understand." I confirmed.
"She promise." Itachi translated. "Miu, go back to the Leaf Village and find Isuke. Find a way to communicate with him and tell him to come to the Akastuki base so he get the antidote and bring it back to you." Sasori instructed.
"Hai." I said. I floated back to the Leaf Village and back to the hospital. I got to my body and saw Isuke near my body, curled up by my side. "Isuke!" I called. Isuke jolted to his feet and looked around. "Princess?" He asked, looking around.
Darn it. He can hear me, but he can't see me. "Isuke, use your powers. It's me, Miu." I said. Isuke did as I said and quickly used his powers. His ears lifted in the air as his eyes began to glow. A few seconds later, they fell by his side.
"Princess, I can see you! This is incredible! But how?! Are you a ghost?! You're not dead, are you?!" Isuke asked, frantically. I giggled.
"Isuke, calm down. I'm not a ghost and I'm not dead. I'm an astral projection. I don't know how, but I am. I need you to listen to me because I may not have much time. I need you to go to the Akatsuki base and go to Sasori. He has an antidote for me that will help me wake up from my coma. But you need to hurry. I only have a few hours before I- Argh!"
I bent over slightly as I gripped my chest when I felt my heart stopping. I looked at the monitor when it started to beep rapidly. Uh-oh. That can't be good. "Oh no..." I whispered. I closed my eyes as my astral projection went back into my body.
Isuke's POV
"Princess? Princess!" I started to shake her unconscious body as the monitor began to beep rapidly. I gasped and took a step back when her body began to move at a fast base. Oh no, she's having a seizure!
Doctors and nurses came in quickly. They didn't see me because I wasn't letting them. "Hang in there, Miu! Just hang in there!" The doctor said. "Hold her arms down!"
Two of the nurses held her arms down as she held Princess's arms down. "Hang in there, Miu! You're almost done! You're almost done!" The nurse said. After a few more seconds, Princess stopped seizing and laid lifeless in the hospital bed.
"Let's hope this doesn't happen again. I don't think we're gonna be able to save her the next time." The doctor said. I gasped in shock and they left. "Hold on, Princess. I'll be right back." I said. I jumped off the bed and ran to the Akatsuki base.
It took me three hours, but I made it. That means it will take me three hours to get back to the Leaf Village. The sky was dark as the moon shined down from above. I pawed the entrance, hoping someone will let me in.
I backed up when the boulder was lifted off the ground. Standing behind it was Itachi Uchiha. "Let's go." He held out his hand to me. I climbed up his arm and onto his shoulder. Itachi headed to Sasori's room and knocked on his door.
When he was invited in, he went inside his room. Sasori was at his desk as he held a vial with purple liquid inside it. "Give this to Miu. Hurry up because she doesn't have much time." Sasori said, handing me the vial.
I grabbed it with my mouth and Itachi took me back to the entrance of the base. Once he opened it, I ran back the way I came from with the vial in my mouth.
Three hours later, I ran to the hospital and through Princess's open window. "Princess, just hold on." I said. I went near her face and managed to take the oxygen mask off her with my small paws. I pressed my paw on her chin so her mouth opened.
I twisted the top off the vial, then poured the liquid into Princess's mouth until the vial was empty. "Until you wake up, I will be here, my Princess." I whispered. I curled up by my Princess and closed my eyes as I waited.
3rd Person's POV
Sasuke visited Miu's hospital room again as he gently held her hand. He saw Isuke curled beside her, sleeping peacefully. He stayed with her until visiting hours were over.
The next day, a nurse came in and changed her bandages and checked her temperature. It was the same routine every few hours. Squad 7, 8, 10, and Guy's team visited Miu's room, bringing her flowers, Get Well Soon balloons, and some stuffed animals.
They were very worried that Miu wouldn't wake up. As time passed with Miu in the hospital, her hair grew longer as the bruises healed. Isuke, on the other hand, used his magic to heal Miu's swollen eye. Generous of him, don't you think?
On the next day, when a nurse came to check her temperature, Miu's eyes opened slowly and looked at the nurse. When the nurse's eyes met Miu's, she gasped and dropped her clipboard. Miu stared at the nurse emotionlessly as she slowly blinked her eyes.
The nurse ran out of the room to get the doctor. Minutes later, nurse came back with the doctor and Lady Tsunade. "How are you feeling, Ms. Shimizu?" The doctor asked her. Miu didn't answer as she stared off into space.
"Ms. Shimizu? Are you okay?" The doctor asked. She didn't respond. "Ms. Shimizu?"
Sorry to end it here. There will be more, I promise.
