Miu's POV

I stayed in my room for the rest of the night. I didn't come out to talk to anyone. Mainly, all I did was write a few things in my journal. I heard the door knock. "Miu, are you okay?" Crap, it's Sasuke! What do I do?! What do I do?! 

I quickly got in the bed and pulled the covers over me, pretending to be asleep. I heard Sasuke walk in. "Going to bed without dinner? Now, I'm really concerned." Sasuke said. I kept my eyes closed to make it look like I was sleeping.

He walked over to me and stopped by my bed. My eyes remained closed. I almost snapped my eyes open when I felt him lightly kiss my forehead. He walked away and out of the room, closing the door behind him. I sat up and rubbed my face, trying to stop blushing.

Why is he so interested in me all of a sudden? I mentally smacked myself. I looked out the window, seeing it was already dark. I sighed and fell back on the bed. I stared at the ceiling. A little after awhile, I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

The next morning, I woke up pretty early and headed outside. I walked out towards the woods then sat down cross-legged. I put myself inside a genjutsu.

(Miu's Mind)

I opened my eyes and looked at the flower field I was in. "It's nice, but it could use a bit more... details." I said to myself. I did some hand signs then slammed both my hands on the ground. It shook violently like an earthquake, and the whole place began to change.

I opened my eyes and looked up. There was now a trail and trees. I saw butterflies and small white rabbits. That's strange. I didn't know I could summon animals here too. I wonder where that trail leads too though? I began to follow the trail.

Sasuke's POV

"Hey, is Miu-chan still in bed?" Naruto asked. "She's still in her room? Is she feeling okay? She didn't come down for dinner last night." Tsunami said. "Miu is probably just being weird, as usual." Sakura said. "I'm gonna go check on her." I said quickly before leaving the table.

I knocked on Miu's door once I got to her room. "Miu, are you okay?" I asked. No answer. "Miu?" I opened her door. Her bed was empty and it was neatly made. She must have gotten up before any of us. I went back to the kitchen and towards the door.

"Sasuke, where are you going?" Sakura asked me. "Out." I answered quickly before going out the door. "Miu?" I called. I began to walk forward. Where could she have gone?

(Miu's Mind, Miu's POV)

I continued to follow the trail until I found a small temple up ahead. "Hmm?" I hummed, curious. I walked towards the temple then opened the door. "Whoa.." I stared at the room in amazement. It looked beautiful.

The room was beautiful pink and light purple and there was a small bed. This lead to me think if anyone lives here? But how can they? I created this place myself. I face palmed. I guess this is meant for me.

I wonder what else I could find in here? "Your skills have improved, Princess. I'm quite impressed." I turned around. "Hello? Who said that?" I called. "I did. Although, you can't see me now because it's not our time yet. I'll show myself to you when the time does come." (Soon to be revealed).

I raised a brow. Who the hell is talking? "Can you at least tell me your name please?" I asked. "I'm afraid it's not time for that either, Princess. I'm sorry." the voice apologized. "Are you an enemy?" I asked. "Of course not, Princess. But you can consider me as your friend." it said.

I nodded shyly. "Okay." I answered. "Miu, are you okay?" I looked up at the ceiling. Sasuke? He must be talking to my original body that's outside this world. "I have to go now. It was nice talking to you.. sort of." I said to the voice.

"Anytime, Princess. But remember this; I'm always with you. Like your personal guardian angel." it said. I gave a small nod then concentrated, undoing the genjutsu.

I opened my eyes and blinked a couple of times. "Huh?" I looked up, seeing Sasuke in front of me. "Are you okay?" he asked me. I nodded shyly. "Yes, I'm alright." I answered. He took my hand and helped me to my feet.

"What were you doing out here by yourself?" Sasuke asked. "I.. I was just taking a walk. I-I'm sorry if I w-worried you." I said, looking down so I avoided his gaze. "Come on, let's head back." Sasuke said. He took my hand again, but I pulled it out of his grasp.

"I.. I-I can walk by myself." I said quickly. He smirked at me and I began to walk back to Tazuna's. "Good morning, Miu." Tsunami greeted. "Good morning." I said. "I didn't know you were outside, Miu-chan." Naruto said.

"I-I'm sorry. I-I just t-t-thought I could take a s-short walk." I answered truthfully. "There's some breakfast if you want some." Tsunami said. I nodded. "Thank you." I said shyly. She set the breakfast plate down in front of me.

I thanked her for the food and began to eat. "Oi, Miu." I looked at Sakura. "Yes?" I answered. "I wanna show you something cool. Come with me when you're finished eating." she said. "Okay." I said then went back to eating.

When I was finished, I washed my dish out then headed outside to Sakura. "You wanted to speak with me, Sakura?" I asked. "Yeah, follow me." she said, leading me away. I followed her.

After awhile of walking, we were near a lake. "Why are we here?" I asked as I looked down at the lake. "Oh, I just wanted you to look at something." she said. I stared at her before reading her mind. She plans on pushing me into the lake!

Does she know I can't swim? I was too slow to react and Sakura shoved me back. I gasped and fell back in the water. "Sakura, help! I can't swim!" I called to her before my head went under the water. I lifted my head to see her smirking at me.

"Stay away from Sasuke! He's mine!" she yelled at me. "Okay, I promise! I promise I'll stay away from Sasuke! Please get me out of here!" I shouted to her. My head went back under the water. I'm drowning. "Sakura!" I called to her. She sneered then left. I couldn't believe it. My own teammate left me for dead.

"Help!" I screamed before my head went back under the water. I'm going to drown. No one's here to help me. I closed my eyes as I let myself sink to the bottom. Then, I heard a splash. I squinted my eyes open, seeing a black figure.

My arm was yanked upwards and I was pulled out of the water. I was pulled ashore and then slumped on the ground. I coughed and gasped as I slowly got on my hands and knees. Who saved me? I looked and saw a teenager wearing a Hidden Mist Village mask.

"Who... are you?" I asked. He didn't answer as he looked at me before removing his mask. "Haku?" I asked. "Are you alright?" he asked me. I looked down and shook my head. I looked back up when he turned around and began to walk away.

I stared at him as he left. He stopped a few feet away then moved his head. "Follow." he said quietly. I stood to my feet and followed him, my hands cupped to my chest. We didn't talk as he lead me to who knows where. I gasped when I noticed we were at Tazuna's house.

"Thank you.." I said softly. He gave me a nod then turned around and walked away.

I walked inside the house, closing the door behind me. "Miu-chan? Why are you all wet?" Naruto asked. I didn't answer as I walked to my room with my bangs covering my eyes. I spotted Tsunami in the hallway.

"Tsunami-san, could I have towel please?" I asked. She looked at me then saw that I was wet. "What happened to you? Did you fall into a puddle?" she asked. I didn't answer as I kept my eyes covered with my bangs, trying to hold back my tears.

"Something like that. May I please have a towel?" I repeated, my eyes still covered. She handed me a towel and dried my face. "I'm going to lie down now." I informed before heading to my room. Luckily, Sasuke wasn't there. Which was good because I didn't want to be bothered.

I lied down on my bed, staring at the ceiling until I heard a knock at the door. "Come in." I answered. "Miu, are you feeling alright?" Tsunami asked. "Yes, I'm fine." I said quickly. I turned on my side, facing her, as she walked over to me.

"Oh, I know that look. Inari sometimes has that look." she said. I stared at her, confused. She kneeled down so she was at eye level with me. "You're scared, isn't that right?" she asked. I blushed, knowing she was right, then frowned, not answering.

"You probably don't want to admit, but I can see it in your eyes." Tsunami said. I looked down sadly. "What's the matter, Miu? Why aren't you happy?" she asked. I looked at her as tears threatened to spill.

"Because.. Because everyone always bully me!" I turned around so I was facing the wall then pulled the blanket over my head. "Bully?" Tsunami asked. I stayed quiet for awhile. I heard her walk out of the room, closing the door behind her.

I took the blanket off my head then rested my head on the pillow, falling asleep. I woke up when I felt my necklace move. I sat up quickly and held a kunai to the Sasuke's throat. "Why are you touching my necklace?" I demanded coldly. He smirked and released my necklace.

 "Finally decided to show your true colors towards me?" he said, getting close to my face. I blushed, realizing he was too close. "Please step back." I said quickly. Sasuke smirked and leaned back a bit. "What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Kakashi-sensei wanted me to tell you we're heading out." he informed. "To where?" I asked as I avoided his gaze.

"Where do you think? To protect the bridge builder." he said. "Oh." I got out of bed and headed to the door. "Miu," Sasuke said. "Hmm?" I turned around and face him. "Who gave you that necklace?" he asked.

"M-My.. necklace?"

"Yeah, who gave it to you?"

"A-A friend g-gave it to me."

"Does she have a name?"

"Actually... i-it's a h-he."

"He?"

I nodded my head. "Um, I-I think we should probably go." I said, quickly leaving the room. I headed downstairs. "Hey, idiot!" Sakura screamed at me. "What is it, Sakura? I'm not in the mood." I said, rubbing my eyes. "Why don't you just stay back here with Naruto? We both know you're weak." she said.

"How?"

"You're stupid, lack skills, and you're ugly!"

I stared at her blankly. "Well, it's not like Sasuke could like you anyway. Besides," Sakura grabbed a fistful of my hair and tugged it hard. I hissed at the slight pain. "Sasuke likes girls with long hair. But due to your short hair, you practically look like a boy." Sakura commented.

"So what if he doesn't like me? I don't care." I said.

"You're a liar!"

"I'm not lying."

"Just admit it! You like Sasuke!"

How many times do I have to go over this? "Sakura, I don't like Sasuke." I said to her softly. "Then, stop talking to him!" she yelled at me. She shoved me back, causing me fall on the floor. When I hit the floor, a wave came out of me and hit Sakura, making her fly back and hit the wall.

I stared at her as she slid down the wall and onto the floor. "What was that noise?" Kakashi asked. I didn't answer his question. "What on earth was that?" I asked myself. "That, Princess, was Blast Wave." Oh man, it's the same voice from the genjutsu world.

"Blast Wave?" I repeated. "Yes. Blast Wave is a technique that you hold. It's a wave that blast out of you. You can control it whenever you want. But you must be very careful, Princess. For if you let out Blast Wave on accident, a human won't be the only thing that gets thrown back."

I nodded my head. "Okay, I'll be careful next time." I said. "What happened?" I turned around, seeing Sasuke. "Um.. Sakura fell." I lied. I quickly walked out the house. "Miu, wait up!" Sasuke ran after to me. I stopped too quickly, causing Sasuke to bump into me.

We both fell to the ground with him on top of me. I looked at him then blushed. "U-Um, S-S-Sasuke? C-C-Could you g-get up, please?" I asked. My face was red like a tomato. Sasuke looked at my red face then smirked. "Nervous, are we?" he asked.

"I-I-I..." I stuttered. I turned my head so I avoided his gaze. "Please get off." I said quickly. "Maybe I don't want to." he whispered. I wonder if I should use Blast Wave? Maybe then, he'll get off me. No, I can't. That would be mean. 

I was about to say something, but Kakashi beat me to the punch. "Sasuke, Miu. What are you two doing?" he asked, staring at us. I blushed a dark red and hid my face in my hands. "We fell and we were just getting up." Sasuke said as he got off me.

I uncovered my face then quickly stood up. I looked up to see Sasuke smirking at me. My face was still red, so I kept my head down. "Excuse me, I'll be right back. I have to go get something." I said. I dismissed myself and headed to my room.

I picked up my journal and froze when I felt a wind on my back. I turned around, seeing the window open. That wasn't open before, was it? I turned back around and gasped lightly. Haku was in the room with me.

I opened my mouth to scream, but he quickly put his hand over my mouth. "Don't scream." he whispered. I gulped. Why is here? What does he want? Did he come here to kill me? "Miu, don't fight today." Haku said. Fight? There's going to be a fight today?

"Why not?"

"You can't fight. You'll get hurt. Forgive me, Miu." he said.

I raised a brow. "Forgive you? What for?" I asked. He quickly spun me around then hit the back of my neck, hitting a pressure point. I blacked out instantly.
