The Song
         Same Day, September 25th

I was walking around the gym, waiting for Sonic to get back. I went to the snack table and finessed (took) some cookies from the food table. Than I heard a familiar voice coming from the stage.

"Heya guys! This is me and my band, The Hedgehogs!" I looked at the stage to see Sonic, Silver, Metal Sonic, and Shadow with guitars and they all had a microphone each.

What the..? I thought.

"Today we're playing our first song for a special someone!" Sonic said into the mic (short for microphone) and people cheered.

Whats he doing? I asked myself in my mind.

"A one, a two. A one two three four!" Sonic shouted and than Sonic and the others began to play their guitars.

"What is he doing..?" I asked myself.

"There's a girl, who rocks my world, and she doesn't even know it. She picks me up, when I fall, and I know she'll always be there, because-" Sonic sang and than the others joined in, and they were all dancing.

"We're best friends! Yeah, we're best friends for life! And I just wanted you to know that when things seem down, I'll always come around! Because we're BFF's! (BFF's!) I'll always be by your side, because we're BFF's!" They sang.

"When everything is looking down, down! Just know that I'll turn things around because we're-" Sonic sang.

"BFF'S! We're best friends for life! (BFF'S) When things seem down, I'll come around. We'll be there for each other for eternity!" Sonic sang as they kept dancing. They turned their backs on the crowd and danced, than he glanced back at me and smiled. (The picture at the beginning.)

"They're good." I heard somebody say.

"We are best friends, but Maybe we could be something more... So why don't we see, what we could be together!" Sonic said, coming off the stage and coming to me. He held out his hand to me. I smiled and took it. He spun me around.

"We're BFF'S for life! We're best friends forever! We'll always be side by side, be there when something's not right! We'll be together, for forever! (Forever!) We'll be together Forever! (Be together forever!) Be together forever!" Me and Sonic sang while Sonic's band sang in the background. He dipped me almost to the ground as the song stopped. Everybody cheered.

"Will you be my date for the prom?" Sonic asked me into the mic.

"Yes!" I shouted into the mic and everybody cheered. Sonic still had his guitar.

"Hey! Back off! He's mine!" I heard Amy shout somewhere in the crowd.

"When'd you plan this?!" I asked.

"For a while now." He said picking me up and spinning me in the air. I smiled and giggled.

"Put me down!" I exclaimed. "You might break your guitar!"

"Fine, fine." He said putting me down.

Later, we arrived at Sonic's house. "That was AMAZING!!!" I shouted excitedly.

"I know!" Sonic agreed. "Especially with you there." Sonic said.

"Son-ic!" I shouted, playfully hitting him on his arm. He smiled, taking out his guitar. "Oh, if I could get a-" Sonic started to sing, but I shoved a sock in his mouth. He took it out and I laughed. "I've got you now!" He exclaimed, grabbing and pinning me to the ground. Than the torture began. He started tickling me.

"Ha ha ha! Sonic- ha ha ha! Stop it- ha ha ha! Please! Ha ha ha!" I begged him while laughing.

"Never!" Sonic shouted, tickling me even harder.

"Ha ha ha! St- ha ha ha! I s- ha ha ha! St- ha ha ha! Soni- ha ha ha! I sur- ha ha ha! I- ha ha ha! I sur- ha ha ha! Render! Ha ha ha!" I laughed.

"Fine, I'll stop." Sonic said, letting go of me. I laughed Really hard, and Sonic joined in. Little did we know, a hedgehog with light blue eyes was watching our every move...
