Chap 13 - TaeGi
Jungkook's Pov
I frown as I sit down in one of my many classes. The anniversary of my mother's death is coming up soon. I doodle on a piece of paper with furrowed eyebrows as I think back to some of the memories we had. I smile a little bit when I remember Christmas morning a couple of years back. I had asked Santa for a bike but instead, I got an Xbox.
For a while, I wondered if he had gotten my letter mixed up with someone else's, but my mother had just said that she made a deal that she would be the one to buy me a bike instead. I roll my eyes and snicker quietly. Mother was the best person I have ever known.
Why did she have to leave?
I write down the notes on the board and think about something different. The school dance! Right! How could I have forgotten? I wanted to ask Jimin to go with me...
Father would never let me go. The anniversary of Mother's death is only a week or so before Mother and Father's anniversary for their wedding. Surely, he would be outraged around that time. That's around the time of the dance, actually. Okay, so... One week to man-up and ask Jimin. If I can even go...
After what happened at my house a couple days back I never really understood why he was still talking to me. I'm an abused freak! I'm quiet and mysterious, as to what other people say... He is too nice and sweet to me while I am just a pessimist who is grumpy all of the time. Sure, I smile every once in a while, but deep down inside I am dying.
I feel paper being thrown at my head. I look up, about to glare at the person when I realize that it's just Taehyung. He smiles at me and waves. I raise an eyebrow before waving back.
"Alright, class," the teacher stands in the front of the room. "You will be given an assignment-" the entire class groans in annoyance.
"I wasn't even finished with what I had to say!" The teacher exasperates. "This is going to be a solo effort from each of you. No partners or anything like that. Your jobs are to write a short story about a personal experience. It can be any personal experience. You will read it to the class within the next month. Yes, I am giving you a month to complete this assignment; but you all must finish this assignment on your own time. No class time will ever be given." I roll my eyes at the stupid assignment. Why must it be a personal experience?
"Now, who wants a pop quiz?"
Ugh, this is going to be a long day...

Jimin's Pov
"Do you think Taehyung will ask me to the dance?" Yoongi asks. I shrug. It's not really surprising he's been asking me questions like this the past couple of days. Taehyung and Yoongi both like each other, the cliché thing is though, is that neither of them knows that one likes the other. It's pretty frustrating when they are both stubborn and doubt things all of the time, too.
"Probably... Unless he is a chicken."
"Or, unless he doesn't want to go with me." I sigh.
"He wants to go with you. Trust me, I know he does. Why not you ask him?" I wonder. Yoongi's eyes go wide as he repeatedly shakes his head "no". I pout.
"Why not?"
"Because I'm too afraid to."
"Oh my gosh... I'm not helping you if you aren't going to cooperate." He groans in annoyance.
"I am not asking him-"
"Hey, girls!" Taehyung smiles at the both of us. Jungkook trails behind him, looking at his feet.
"Girls?" Yoongi asks. Taehyung sighs and rolls his eyes.
"Hey, guys!" He says sarcastically. We all laugh, Jungkook smiles.
"Are you guys going to the dance?" Jungkook suddenly asks. His eyes go wide as his face turns red. I smile while furrowing my eyebrows.
"Yeah... We were thinking about it. Why? What are you boys planning?" I ask suspiciously in a playful manner.
"Nothing much," Taehyung laughs. Jungkook laughs awkwardly as he rubs his neck out of nervousness.
"Yeah... Nothing much."
