Chapter 7
Hi everyone..!!
Happy Reading..!!
In the chaos of departure, Vi, Ash, Ajju, and Bhuvi piled into one car, Mahi, Shikhar, and Jaddu close behind. Rah, Jassi, and Harry were about to follow suit when a sudden knock on their window startled them..and there stood.....
"Hume bhi jana hai" exclaimed Shubh and Ishu, their eyes big and pleading.
"But hume nahi pta hum kaha jaa rahe hai" Rah protested.
" Hume pta hai" Ishu admitted guiltily
" Jaldi baithooo....vo log hume chorr ke chale jaenge!! " Harry yelled, and they all piled into the car and they hurriedly followed the others, leaving behind a perplexed Jassi who wondered aloud, "Ye sab log aise jaa kahan rahe hain?? "
" Ro bhaiya ke paas " Ishu answered.
" Mtlb?...Ro bhaiya kahan hai?" Jassi inquired, growing concerned.
Ishu spilled the beans about their prank and how Ro bhaiya hadn't returned yet.
"CapRo!!" Harry exclaimed, shocked and worried.
"BRo" Rah's voice trembled with anxiety.
"Bhaiyaa" Jassi whispered, on the brink of tears.
"Sorry, bhaiya," mumbled Shubhi and Ishu, lowering their heads under the glare of the trio.
Meanwhile, Vi, Ash, Ajju, and Bhuvi arrived at their destination, only to find it deserted. They ventured into the warehouse, only to emerge empty-handed.
Jaddu, accompanied by Mahi and Shikhar, witnessed their return and remarked, " This is not the one...we took them to that one" pointing towards the other warehouse
"But the address matches this one," Ajju protested, comparing it to the given address.
Faf arrived just in time and inquired, "What's going on?"
"Ask your partners in crime," Bhuvi retorted sarcastically.
Jaddu and Shikhar realized their blunder, not only had they nabbed the wrong person, but they'd also taken them to the wrong location.
" Wow.... amazing....." Vi applauded mockingly, " Kaise ...kr kaise lete ho ....ek hi prank mein itni galtiyan " asked, shaking his head in disbelief.
"We should search the other warehouse for them," suggested Jassi, as the seniors took note of the juniors' presence.
Setting aside the fact, they ventured towards the other warehouse, only to find it locked with bloodstains outside, sending shivers down their spines.
" Raat ko to ye khula hua tha " Jaddu remarked.
" To abhi band kyu hai ..do something..open this dammit.." Vi demanded, punching the shutter in frustration.
They all began searching for something to break the shutter when rah and jassi saw few men coming towards them
Rah and Jassi instructed everyone to find hiding spots nearby, close enough to eavesdrop on the conversation unfolding.
" Let's check the container and then load it... those poor souls didn't deserve this. Wonder what the boss will do to them," one of the men said.
"The boss doesn't tolerate interference, If he can shoot someone for not closing a warehouse, imagine what he'll do to them," another added, shocking everyone with the grim reality.
"They're probably in heaven by now," joked the third.
The ground seemed to disappear beneath their feet as they processed the implications of their conversation.
Just then, a man came running towards the warehouse, breathless with urgency.
"They escaped!" he announced.
"What?? " the others exclaimed.
"They must be trained; they even overpowered six of us," the man explained, and a swell of pride filled everyone's hearts.
"But where did they go?" someone asked.
"Toward the port," came the reply.
"And the boss?" another queried.
"We told him... we took care of them," the man said.
Hearing this, a wave of relief washed over the group before they set off for the port, ready to face whatever came their way.
Meanwhile at the port
As Rohit and Ab stood by the port, the salty breeze tickled their faces while they gazed at the vast expanse of the sea. Suddenly, the tranquil atmosphere was shattered by the piercing wail of sirens, jolting them back to reality. They exchanged worried glances, Their hearts skipped a beat as they realized they were in an unauthorized area, which could lead to serious trouble.
"Wh-what do we do now?" Rohit's voice trembled with anxiety as he looked to Ab, his eyes pleading for guidance.
"We need to figure out how to sneak out of here without getting caught," Ab replied, furrowing his brows, his mind racing for a solution.
Amidst the crates and cargo, chaos erupted. Ro and Ab, found themselves darting between shipping containers, their hearts pounding with fear. They played a game of hide-and-seek with the vigilant security guards, hoping to evade their watchful eyes. But their luck ran out when one of the guards spotted Ab, prompting a frantic chase through the port
The guards, now alerted, swiftly formed a team, their authoritative voices echoing across the port as they warned, "STOP OR WE WILL SHOOT!"
But fear gripped Ro and Ab, fueling their desperate flight. Despite the guards' stern commands, they refused to surrender. Then, in an instant, a deafening shot pierced the air.
As the events unfolded before Ro's eyes, time seemed to stretch into eternity. While the chaos ensued in the blink of an eye, for Ro, it was as if every moment was drawn out in excruciating detail. He watched in horror as the guards took aim, their faces stern and determined. His heart pounded in his chest, each beat echoing in his ears.
Then, a gunshot pierced the air, and without a second thought, Ro acted. In a split second decision, he shoved Ab, out of harm's way, narrowly avoiding disaster. But as he watched Ab stumble to safety, a searing pain shoot through his arm as he crumpled to the ground, the world spinning around him. He clutched his injured arm, feeling the warmth of blood trickling through his fingers, his vision blurred with tears.
"Roooo!" Ab's panicked cry pierced through the chaos as he rushed to Rohit's side, his eyes wide with shock at the sight of Ro's injured arm, the sight of blood sending a shiver down his spine. He gently grasped Rohit's trembling hand, his own heart pounding with concern and fear.
Tears welled up in Rohit's eyes as he looked at Ab, he felt a mixture of fear and concern for Ab's safety, along with pain from his own injury. Ab's heart raced with panic and worry for his Ro, seeing him hurt...But their silent exchange spoke volumes of their unbreakable bond.
Meanwhile, the security personnel approached them, their expressions a mix of confusion and recognition. As they realized the identities of the two men they had just encountered, their demeanor softened slightly, but the seriousness of the situation remained.
"Mr. Devilliers, what on earth are you doing here?" one of the guards questioned, his tone a mixture of disbelief and admonishment. "This is a high-security area, you can't just wander in here like this."
Ab's voice trembled with urgency as he pleaded for understanding. "I know, I know. It was a mistake. We didn't mean to intrude." he admitted, his eyes never leaving Ro's pale face, "But please, my friend needs help. He's hurt – badly."
Ro's breaths were like tiny whispers, each one a struggle against the pain that tried to take over him. He forced himself to focus, to ignore the hurting inside him, but it was like a monster trying to break free. Even though he tried to hide it, his face showed how much he pain he was going through.
Through tear-filled eyes, Ro saw Ab talking, begging almost. He looked so scared, but Ro felt a little safer knowing Ab was there, trying so hard to help. Even though everything around them seemed like a big mess, Ro felt a warm hug in his heart because of Ab.
As the reality of their situation sunk in, Ro couldn't help but feel a wave of emotion wash over him. In that moment of vulnerability, when he felt scared and small, he held onto Ab like a lifeline, finding courage in their friendship that nothing could break.
We must hurry! We need to get him to the hospital," exclaimed one of the guards urgently. With care and determination, two of them gently lifted Ro, who seemed weak and hurt, and guided him towards the security car. Together, they hurried towards the entrance of the port, where a waiting ambulance stood ready to help.
As they approached the entrance, the scene became more chaotic. Four more cars arrived, the people inside them frozen with shock at the sight before them. They witnessed security personnel tenderly transferring Ro from the car to the ambulance. Ro appeared barely conscious, his arm stained with blood, while Ab, looking drained and worried but determined, pleaded with him to keep his eyes open.
In that moment, emotions ran high. It was a heart-wrenching scene, that no one wanted to witness, filled with worry and concern for Ro's well-being. Every moment felt heavy with the weight of uncertainty, as everyone hoped and prayed for Ro's recovery.
