A long long time ago, there was a goal in the Reaper world to cross breed reapers with other creatures. One species was shown to be violent and dangerous, very unpredictable. Hybrids from that species where taller than normal Reaper women and some had a slight birth defects, like extra limbs, fingers/toes and or reproductive systems. That species is known as Lacertyx, taller than a man spiked back nasty mouth filled with sharp backwards curving teeth. venom filled glands on both the lower and upper jaws.  When a Lacertyx male breeds with a Lacertyx female there has been no sign of any defects in the offspring. Their culture may seem similar to humans but is completely different, they prize in hunting for food and never for sport. They hunt in Winter, Fall, Spring and Summer. Their blood is truly a strange and complex blood prevents them from slowing down in the cold and in old age. They are stronger than humans, capable of crushing 70 bones with one hand, stay away from the tails they are thick and whip like able to crush a bone in a blink of an eye. They do have a hibernation period, but it's unlike any other animal. Before Hibernation they will literally gorge themselves on anything that is meaty and sugary, then their skin will become flakey and they will then either retreat into their primitive style homes and literally bury themselves to protect them as they shed in their sleep.
