Allow me to quote what I just discovered on Tumblr: 

Fox announced today that Peyton List will now be replacing Maggie Geha as Ivy when the character makes a return in the second half of Gotham's ongoing fourth season. Viewers last saw Ivy—well, Ivy II—drinking some mysterious potions early in season four and undergoing some unseen change, which should've probably been labeled "break glass in case of need to transform into the woman who played Golden Glider on The Flash."

A press release accompanying the announcement describes List's version of Ivy as being "a live wire of crazy energy" who is one step closer to becoming the Poison Ivy of the comics, who will "set her sights on Gotham, intent on making the city her own green paradise." For those playing at home, the first Ivy had no powers, while the second Ivy was able to create a fragrance that made people obey her. It seems plausible that chugging a bunch of vials of unknown substances stored under the counter at a Chinese apothecary (yes, really) will give her more direct planet manipulation.

While a new age for Ivy wasn't mentioned, it can't be that radical a transformation, given that List is just two years older than Geha (who was meant to be playing a 19-year-old). Which makes this seem all the sillier... but then again, it wouldn't be Gotham if it wasn't. At least this doesn't feel as creepily gross as the last time? Poison Ivy III will make her debut in early 2018.Along with the casting announcement Monday morning, the Gotham producers released the following statement:

"In the continuing evolution of Poison Ivy's origin story, Ivy Pepper has been transformed once again taking another step toward becoming the Ivy we know from the comics. Dangerous. A live wire of crazy energy. She'll set her sights on Gotham, intent on making the city her own green paradise." (source)

Now back to me...what...the...FUCK?!?! Are you shitting me?! ANOTHER Ivy Pepper?!?! Dear fucking gosh! Can't one chick just stay Poison Ivy?!?! Why do you have to keep flip flopping through actresses! I can't keep up with my own muse, damnit! Maggie Geha was a perfect Poison Ivy and she is yet again being "re-aged" or "revamped?!" Revamp my ass! Not happy with this Gotham. So not happy about this! I just hope this chick will be good at being Ivy. I guess we'll have to wait till early 2018 to see.
