You either know one, have one, or you are one.

  The other day I was hanging out with some of my friends at the mall and we saw an ad for the new "The DUFF" movie. I have actually been wanting to see it and we started talking about if it would be good or not. During this conversation, one of my friends and I stepped away to get some cinnamon-covered pretzel nuggets (it's like heaven in your mouth I swear...). When we started walking back I heard one of our group say, "Do you think she knows?" Another replied, "It's kind of funny that she's the one to want to watch it." Then, "I mean, what part does she think she plays in our group? Seriously, it's just kind of sad."

  At this point, I was confused as hell trying to figure out who and what they were referring to. I turned to my friend who had bought pretzels with me -- she had frozen on the spot. "What're they talking about?" She sighed really heavily, "They're saying... they're saying that you're the DUFF."

  I felt like someone had hit me in the stomach with a brick. I still can't believe that that's how my friends saw me. I am the designated ugly fat friend. I don't know how I didn't see that before. But maybe the movie poster was right. 'If you don't know who it is, it's probably you.'
