I'M NOT DEAD
Oh my God. I've been so inactive and I feel so bad, school has been stressing me out so much. I want to give you stuff to read but I just can't think. So here is a list of people I've met in high school so far. Note that all of these are from my experience and these all depend on the person.
The Stoners/"Vape Nation":
Unfortunately my IPS (introduction to physics) teacher hates me. He puts me in the very back where all the druggies are. The kid I sit next to vapes during class and it really annoys me.
The Emo/Scene kid:
Ok I have an emo friend and he is awesome. Depending on the person, they can make crude jokes, dress in My Chemical Romance merch, and talk about anime. They can be annoying at times but they are (once again, depending on the person) ok people.
The Group/Squad/Team:
These are your friends that you will be with for the next four years. CHOOSE WISELY. You don't want to be stuck with bad friends so keep an open mind.
The Clique:
This is different from your group. They do EVERYTHING together. Same classes, same lunch, same everything! Think of the Plastics from Mean Girls or the Heathers from Heathers. Not all of them are mean and not all of them are girls. The football team(s) are close knit so they are a clique.
That One Guy/Girl:
You've seen this person around school but you don't know their name and you think you have a class with them. You don't know much about them except that they go to your school.
The Kid That Does Nothing:
I have one of these kids in my French class (yes I take French, no it's not fun). He sits behind me and all he does is sleep. I don't know how he is still in this class.
You (Said Menacingly):
This is the kid you don't like. He/she does something(s) that really gets on your nerves. For me this is the kid that vapes next to me (see stoner/"vape nation"). He's not necessarily a bad person, he just annoys me. He gets my book for me sometimes and we make small talk but we don't have a lot in common.
The Crush:
This one is a bit self explanatory. This is a person you really like. They could be not the best looking of the bunch or they can be celebrity level gorgeous. My crush is a boy I've known for a while, we see each other in the halls and say hi once in a while but every time I see him I feel giddy. The worst part about crushes is that they might not like you back which SUCKS. I mean you love this person, you want to be with this person, and you work up enough courage to tell them how they feel only for them to say that they don't feel the same.*
The "Cool" Teacher:
This teacher is the teacher you really like (in a very appropriate and nothing more than an authority figure way). They are chill on homework, they help you when you don't understand something, and they make class interesting.
The Strict Teacher:
This teacher doesn't take crap! If you're late to class they give you a whole lecture about time management. This is my IPS teacher. On the first day of school he says that we can go to the bathroom only 3 times in a semester (for me it's September-January). Yeah four month with only 3 bathroom trips!! These teachers aren't bad because they get the information in to your head without any distractions or extra stuff.
The Football Team(s):
Pep rallies. Screaming in hallways. Letterman jacket. Tailgating.
Drama Kids:
Ok there are sub categories for this one.
•The Actors:
These people act they the world revolves around them. They can not get enough of the stage. When they don't get a part that they like they blame it on the casting director, act like more of a brat than usual, AND WILL NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT IT FOR WEEKS! "If I was [insert character] I would have done [insert theater lingo] but I guess the way he/she does it it fine". Not all of them are like this though, there are a few good eggs who are just there to have fun and preform.
•Tech Crew:
These people are very close. Everyone has a job and knows how to do it perfectly and efficiently. They can be snobs at times (mainly because they are actors who got cut from a show) but most of they aren't. They are a very talent bunch of people.
•The Singer:
This person can't act whatsoever but boy can they sing. Sure listening to them at concerts and shows is enjoyable but the singer sings ALL. THE. TIME. Now I sing a lot but for comedic purposes. Like when someone starts talking to me on the phone I'll sing Adele's or Lionel Richie's Hello. Anyway, the singer can be singing the ABCs and add riffs and random stuff that it sounds like a Skrillex took over a preschool.
That Person With The Dyed Hair:
Guilty! I dye my hair a lot (blue, to indigo, to pink, to purple) and I love it. It makes me stand out and feel different. I dyed it pink for homecoming and that was a lot of fun. But if some one is referring to you it's almost always "The girl/boy with the [insert color] hair."
*I am not speaking from experience. I have never told any if my crushes (I've only had 3) that I liked him. If you feel confident and comfortable enough, talk to him or her. If you don't feel comfortable, don't force yourself and feel as though you have too talk to him/her.
